Arno Gaebelein (1861-1945) was an American Methodist minister and Bible commentator. In his classic commentary on James, he writes,
"We have known believers who refuse to read this Epistle. But that is a serious and deplorable mistake. Here are written great and needed truths which are as needful for us as they were for those to whom the Epistle was originally addressed. The Christian who passes by the Epistle of James rejects a most important part of the Word of God and as a result he will suffer loss... The exhortations in this Epistle are of great value; and there are many precious gems to be found scattered throughout the Epistle of James, the brother of the Lord."
Arno Clemens Gaebelein (1861-1945) was a Methodist minister in the United States of America. He was a prominent teacher and conference speaker. He was also the father of educator and philosopher of Christian education Frank E. Gaebelein.
Being a dispensationalist, he was a developer of the movement in its early days. Two of his books, Revelation, and Analysis and Exposition and Current Events in the Light of the Bible explain the dispensationalist view of eschatology.
Gaebelein did not support the Christian Zionists in their alliance with the Zionist Organisation.
