This morning, I was preparing a special breakfast using a recipe from the literary book Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist (yes, it's for cocktails, but there are also munching recipes) .... and suddenly I remembered my first cooking book ever! It's this one I'm reviewing now, and it's in Bulgarian. In English, the translation of the title would be "What to cook when mum is not at home". So I decided to look for it at Goodreads, and voila, I found it. I am feeling delighted because it's a very dear memory from the time that I didn't make any difference between onion and garlic. The recipes were mainly sandwiches and salads, but I remember that I "cooked" many delicious things from here. A big thank you to the author, Sashka Kondova, for sparkiling my culinary career. :D
