With something far more sinister than a broken heart threatening to rip them apart can they find their way back to each other and the love they’re just learning to trust or will they lose everything?
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Evelyn Adams loves coffee, her kids, Netflix, and books. Not necessarily in that order. If she's not writing steamy romances, she's chasing kids, reading, or binging Mrs Maisel
I am only posting a review under book 3, but my review is for the entire series. I enjoy romances that reflect the realities of life. I usually avoid the rich man, poor woman books, but I love Ms. Adams’ writing. Her characters have flaws, as we all have. The plots involve struggles in life and how the characters deal with issues and overcome adversity. I recommend her books and this series.
I loved all 3 books that Evelyn Adams so beautifully wrote about the relationship between Luke and Claire. There was just the right amount of emotions (the darker and the lighter), the suspense, and the loving. It was a heady trip to see how they ended up. All the characters enhanced the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to see how a couple grows with all their ups and downs.
I loved this story from Book 1 through to the end! I literally needed to see how they fought eachother. The characters are so different and yet their stubborn independent streaks are so adorable. The way they get on each other's nerves and yet they can't seem to get enough of each other. They get protective of each other...doubt each other...love each other. LOVED IT!
He'd screwed up, big time, and had to beg forgiveness. Then they made a bet, of all things, on if a owner would sell a house to them, within $5,000 on an offer that Luke had made. It changed her world forever, but it wasn't the last of the monumental shifts in lives that were about to hit them. It's an emotional rollercoaster, but well worth the price of the ticket.
Claire and Luke have a love story for each other’s lives. Having gone through vandalism on job sites, an accident that caused a death, and many setbacks to their builds. This story is one for all, learning how to love someone who you thought would never be your One! Beautiful story.❤️
I enjoyed the adventure of Claire and Luke that after the first book I had to read the second and right into this final one. The love that grew between them and the sexy scenes were brilliant. I hope everyone enjoys reading these books as much as I did.
The first two books were amazing but I feel like this last one was rushed. I was hoping for some more action with samson. That was bit quick. Other that the story was great.
For someone who had never known love and didn't think it was in the cards for him, it took lots of perseverance to finally find it. It was Claire who made it happen and I think you'll love the journey it took to get there. Great stories.🙏🤗💖
This book, #3 in the series is not a standalone so be sure and read the series in order. Here is the series order: #1 Wired #2 Wanton #3 Won
This book was heaven. It was pure pleasure, filled with fun, romance and some great humor. It takes up minutes from where book two ends and it was a wonderful conclusion to the story and series. I truly loved book 1, its where Luke and Claire challenge each other and fall for each other. Book 2 was much harder to read. You learn a lot about Luke and why he is the way he is. He does some awful things in book 2 as he fights his love for Claire. But at the end of book 2 he decides Claire is everything to him and he plans to win her back.
At the start of Won, Claire is skeptical and I loved that. I loved that she made Luke fight for her and show her how much he loves her. There were also some really fun surprises that I don’t plan to reveal and the saboteur and murderer from book 2 is revealed.
I could totally tell the author loved Luke and she had SO much fun with his character in this book. It was really cute and funny and if you didn’t love Luke in the last book, you will fall in love with him in this one.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book, it's a great ending to a whirl wind romance. So much to over come and learn to trust again. I'm going to miss Luke and Claire, their relationship has been interesting to say the least......a roller coaster, sexy and I loved the way they both learnt to accept and understand each others needs. All this series have been a real pleasure to read.
Well what can i say - except absolutely brilliant. Luke realised he had to do something different to get Claire back or be a lost soul forever. With the investigation still ongoing , which is annoying for all, life goes on. Shocks for Claire but will Luke stand by her. Slimy Samson and Gretchen..yuk. Loved the ending and all in all a fantastic read. Now off to read about Eric...Lukes Chef friend
This was an excellent, exciting end to the trilogy, even though the climax was just a bit predictable. Luke has gone from being an arrogant idiot in Wired to an adorable man in this book, but it has been a natural progression, well written. I have only given four stars because I am not a fan of relatively short books being divided into three parts. But it is a good read, Evelyn is very good at pacing a story, and building the suspense.
I really enjoyed this series and I loved how Luke and Claire overcame things and their connection was well written. I was really looking forward to this book and it didn't disappoint. It was a fun, sexy book. I would have liked more of an epilogue. Maybe a five years in the future too. I love those.
Great book, well written and i definitely recommend the series
Loved this conclusion! This author continues with a strong conclusion to Luke and Claire's story. Luke learns that Claire is all he could ever want. He never knew he wanted a family and to love one woman until Claire. Claire is finally able to let her walls down and let Luke in. The trust Luke crushed is rebuilt. So glad to see it end with a happily ever after.
3.5 stars A good ending to their story ! I did feel however it went out with a fizzle rather than a bang ! That being said I did enjoy the trilogy, it wasn't Wow, but it was an extremely comfortable journey.
This is a sad Goodbye to Luke and Claire I loved every moment of watching these two figure out how to allow themselves to trust true love. This story is very emotional but well worth the read. Very Hot and Steamy ending.
Ms. Adams has an excellent skill in character introduction and development. All thee of the Luke and Claire series were thoroughly explicit, entertaining and delightfully told. I loved every moment I spent reading them. Thank You Evelyn Adams.
GREAT TRILOGY ... NO NONSENSE ... DIDNT DRAG ON ... & GREAT CHARACTERS ... LOVED HOW THE AUTHOR JUST GOT TO THE POINT WITHOUT DRAGGING THE STORYLINE, HOWEVER AT TIMES SCENES ENDED TOO ABRUPTLY. OVERALL GOOD READ
