Richard, Luke, and Matthew return in this sequel to MORE, a Rainbow Award winner for Best Gay Contemporary Romance.

Investment manager and always-in-control Richard Marshall has just landed a historic estate he's waited years to acquire. Gone a lot for his work, he's seriously craving his men. Yet it's more than just the sex he's missing. Emotionally-traumatized Luke is still dealing with the aftereffects of his father's attempt to kill him, and Matthew's trying to find his way as part of a menage relationship.

When Luke and Matthew come clean with Richard about what they've been feeling, he knows there's only one way to solve all his problems: keep them close by accepting their help to investigate why someone wants to destroy the mansion he's trying to save. When it becomes clear he's put his family in danger, Richard has to choose between giving up control and pushing away the men he loves right when they've started to heal and have rekindled the explosive chemistry that brought them all together.

A menage relationship is hard enough. Add in danger, intrigue, a haunted mansion, and three sexually frustrated men, and it's not a typical love story. It's much more.

This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and an all-male menage relationship.

It was SO great to see these guys again. Probably one of the only menages I've ever been so thoroughly convinced would work. I just love these guys and so many decisions Sloan makes where there relationship is concerned. I didn't LOVE this one like i did the first, but it was a great read and, again, I loved seeing the guys. I think I'll be more pleased with this one after Matthew's book (*hint hint*) because this one didn't quite have the closure that More did. But still altogether good read. If you loved the first, this is definitely worth a read.

While this one didn't grab me as much as the first book, I did like getting Richard's POV and seeing the growth of the relationship between the three men. I would really like to see something from Matthew's POV in the future since to me, he still seems to have trouble accepting himself as equal to Luke and Richard.

I loved this book. Loved. It. Richard Marshall is my man, no ifs buts or maybes, and he solidified my Richard-love in More Than Most. Protective, sexy, older Richard and the two loves of his life, Luke and Matthew. These men have all grown into their relationship. Luke, the POV in More, has developed into a much less cautious, more open man with a great sense of humour who'll let his guard down with the two men he has grown to love, and a relationship he values more than anything - something he never thought he could do or have. Matthew, in his twenties and at college, is just as sweet, just as giving, but maturing into someone who is learning what it is he really needs and how to voice that. Their relationship made me teary, made my laugh and, hells bells, it was so freaking sexy when they got together.

If you've ever thought about reading this series - More and now More Than Most - but you are usually put off by ménage relationships, really think about giving this series a try. Honestly, no one is left out here, there are no petty jealousies, cheating, or favoured combinations or partner, just three wonderful guys in love...and a mystery or suspense in both.

4,5 stars.

This one is definitely one of my top favorites menage romances. Loved it more than the first book, less sex and more mystery.
The love those three have for each other... (and how it's still growing) is beautiful to watch. Highly recommended!

I have read a lot of menage books and More (the first book in the series) was by far my favorite - actually, it is one of my favorite books in general. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and their relationship, and I couldn't wait to see what came next in Book 2. Luckily, I wasn't disappointed!

Things I loved:

1. This series is written in the first person, and each book is told from the perspective of one member of the trio. This was Richard's book, but rather than feeling like an entirely new story, the transition is extremely natural - as Luke is still working through his issues. I like that the author did not downplay Luke's story - while Luke wasn't the focus of the book, she also doesn't expect us to forget that he's going through some pretty heavy things.

2. There isn't a lot of sex in this book (or, said differently, there is a normal amount of sex in this book). While the sex that does happen between these three men is hot, I liked that there wasn't a lot because it allowed for more focus on deep emotional issues - both individual issues and as a trio. The men had hit a rough patch, and having a lot of sex wouldn't have fixed anything. And if the book had just devolved into one big sex romp, I wouldn't have taken it as seriously. The author has created a deep relationship between these men - one that absolutely needed to grow and develop after their explosive meeting in the first book (and their subsequent "honeymoon" phase).

3. The mystery aspect was well-done and interesting as a side-plot.

4. I really loved the author's exploration of Richard as a character. While I still like Luke and Matthew more as individuals, Richard is the grounding force of their relationship and the author did his story justice. He learned a lot about letting go and it was a lesson that he needed in order to keep his guys happy.

5. Although Richard and Luke had some issues that needed hashing in this book, I've always felt that Richard and Matthew had a lot of unresolved issues due to their age difference. A lot of these issues came out towards the end of the story, and I loved the progress with Matthew - but also the very obvious fact that he still has some growing up to do. I can't wait for Book 3 Matthew - he is obviously growing up but isn't quite there yet.

Great addition

4 ⭐️

I still enjoy these guys. I love that they are still working at making their relationship work. It’s not easy. I really like that they talk, in so many books the problems would be fixed if the MCs just communicated and this is not the case here. The guys problems are all about merging their lives and at the same time keeping their own personalities intact. Yes they change a little bit as they grow, but essentially they are the same men that they were at the start. They each have their own distinct personality and I’m enjoying seeing them being meshed.

I liked the mystery with the house and the resolution was well done.

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

This sequel was a long time coming but in story terms we have moved on in Richard, Luke and Matthew’s lives by eight months. I’m not sure what happened in those eight months but when you start More than Most it is clear the dynamics of the relationship have altered.

Richard who was always the confident one of the three, always so sure of where everybody stood has been working away from home and starts to feel detached from the other two. He is less sure of his role, less sure of himself and is becoming overbearing in his attempts to keep his partners safe.

Luke is less scared and it doesn’t feel like he is on the verge of running anymore. He is still suffering from the aftereffects that his father’s behaviour caused and he really needs Richard to be around more but is still not very good at asking for what he needs. He seems even more protective of Matthew now that he has been spending a lot of time alone with him.

Matthew is growing up but is still unsure of voicing his needs. The stress of dealing with Luke’s nightmares alone is getting to him and he needs Richard’s validation that he is both important and needed. He is also determined to show that he is as capable as the two other men and doesn’t need ‘looking after’.

These guys work as a threesome but not so well as a pair. Whilst Richard has been away, keeping secrets and chasing an old dream, cracks have begun to appear. This time round sex is not the answer to everything, there is far less in this book, and they have to sit down, discuss and compromise.

There is a mystery, a fabulous old man with secrets and yet another person who has no problem seeing the men dead if he doesn’t get what he wants. It seems at every turn there is another person willing to do them harm. Richard has to decide whether his old dream is worth it but he must also take into account the feelings of his partners rather than expect them to do just as he says.

This book is quite different from More and although the first one remains my favourite it was great to revisit Matthew, Richard and Luke and the ending for them felt right. Hopefully they will now see a bit of peace in their lives and no more crazy people out to kill them.

It's been a long time since I originally read book one, More, but I loved it so much, I've reread it multiple times so I'm very familiar with the characters. I was excited to get to this one, but I hate to say it -- I'm disappointed by it.

Richard, Luke, and Matthew are still together. Richard is super controlling in this story and constantly apologizing for it. He can't see how any of his actions impact the other men. Matthew is quite childish in this one and I would have hoped for more maturity by now. Half the time, neither man could tell what the other was saying or what he wanted or needed. And I won't even say how many times Richard said he'd treat them as equals and then went into protector mode and/or did things or planned things behind their backs.

The best character in this story is Luke. He remained true to form. What he said, he did. What he wanted, he went after. Plus he acted as the conduit for communication for all three of them.

There was an interesting plot surrounding the purchase of a mansion and a mysterious death and the resulting mystery of where something very valuable was hidden. But the behaviors of the men, mostly Richard, really drove the plot and as I said, I am disappointed. I liked it, but no love here this time. I'll have to reread More and my other favorite that features one of the secondary characters: How to Save a Life to get my fill of this group.

Enjoyed this story a lot. These three amazing men have made their Menage relationship work, but not without the struggles of life. Richard has become obsessed in buying the Harrison Estate keeping him away for 3 weeks from his men which in itself has caused tension between them. Others dangerous people want what is in the mansion at the point of killing and when Richard realizes his men are in danger he tries to keep them out of what he is doing to keep them safe, but both Luke and Matthew have a real problem with that. They feel Richard is pushing them away, but the fact is he loves them so much he will do anything to make sure they are out of harms way. After both Matthew and Luke get hurt, they seemed to realize what is happening to their relationship. When Matthew walks away for a short time, the other two go after him and a wake up call seems to happen. A painting worth millions is the focus of all their outside problems. Dominic, the butler and lover of the grandson who had been killed 50 years ago, has been protecting the mansion all these years. A multibillionaire wants that painting no matter what he has to do to Richard, Luke, and Matthew to get it. The story is suspenseful, emotional, loving, with some action and more Hot Sex. A Great Read... Take the journey with these 3 men from the beginning in More, to the end. You find yourself falling for these men. I definitely did.

I have to admit that at first I had trouble sinking myself into this book. I felt a disconnect between the characters that wasn't there in the first book. So why the five stars? The disconnect was purposeful. It wasn't bad writing, it was the toll the three men's lives was taking on their relationship. There is more intrigue in this book than there was in the first. Richard is working long hours and away from home to purchase a property that is in high demand. Others will kill to get their hands on. Luke is having nightmares of what happened in book 1 and Matthew still insecure of his role as the youngest of the threesome. After things are sorted out with the property and the hidden treasure that resides there, things are finally sorted out between the three men and that was what made it a five star read. The truth that relationships take work and honest communication. It was beautiful to see them repair the damages and come out stronger. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next book.

While this wasn’t quite as riveting as I found the first book, this was still pretty good. There’s another mystery to be solved when Richard buys an estate he has wanted for years. This book is completely in Richards voice, as book one was Luke’s. It gets kind of unbelievable at points but I quite liked the secret gay lovers and the tragedy that occurred. There’s lots of relationship talk, with the three taking turns getting angry with each other, then having long talks, usually ending in sex. It’s less sex heavy than book one but the conversations over each one’s foibles was a bit much at times. That’s where the mystery and action kept the whole plot moving forward. Book three is finally out and I’m looking forward to what Matthew’s story will be.

I really enjoyed this. Luke, Richard, and Matthew are still one of my favourite menage relationships along with Submission and Dark Horse. I can't wait to read the last book! The mystery storyline was also really great and interesting. But was such a huge focus of the book that at times I forgot I was even reading a romance. But it was still a really good mystery about an old estate and a family legacy and lost heirlooms.

This is a great addition to the More series. I enjoyed the further development of the trio's relationship. Luke and Matthew are both coming to know and express their needs, and I liked getting a different point of view with this book. Although Luke's father is out of the picture, there is a new mystery and related suspense. There is still plenty of steamy sex, along with some angst, and at least one surprising twist. I really like that this is a true threesome, and not a pair plus one. Looking forward to more "More".^^

I re-read book one in preparation for this sequel because it’s been a while, and believe me, it was no hardship to revisit Richard, Luke and Matthew and their sexy introduction! I loved this one just as much. It was wonderful seeing the maturity of their relationship and these guys rank up there as one of my all-time favorite triads!!

This was a nice follow-up to the first book. The story continues around 8 months after the first book and is told entirely from Richard’s POV. Since the first book was told from Luke’s POV it was nice to read the perspective of another.

As always, Richard needs to feel in control and this desire to be in control has put a strain on the trio’s relationship. Gone a lot for work, Richard wants nothing more than spend time with Luke and Matthew, but problems start to occur with his newly acquired estate, an estate he’s been after for the past 15 years. Instead of going to Luke and Matthew for help, he tries to separate them from his problems. Luke and Matthew can see the distance Richard is placing between them and work, and they begin to fight to keep Richard from pushing them away even further. Will Richard learn that he can’t protect and shelter his lovers from everything or will he see that together they are stronger?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I fell in love with Richard, Luke and Matthew in the first story and my love for them grew with this installment. Each character has grown and changed based on their past experiences. Richard has a hard time realizing that his men have changed and are more grown from when they first met. I liked this struggle in Richard. The first book paints him to be the one with the least problems, but in fact this story shows he has just as many as the others. The conflict surrounding the estate was interesting and I loved how Luke and Matthew jumped at the chance to be there for Richard. The ending was written differently. It was like two separate endings, one for the estate mystery and the second wrapping up the relationship issues. Each one was distinct and separate from the other. It wasn’t bad, just different.

I really hope we get a third story from Matthew's POV. That would be icing on the cake!

I really liked the first book but I think this one is even better. They're all realizing that there are things in their relationship that they need to work on. And like thats not enough, Richard purchases a huge estate and they soon realize they got more than they bargained for. Many people are interested in sometthing hidden at the mansion, but none of them seem sure just what that is. Dominic is an old man who used to work there, that now feels its his job to protect the house and its contents. He sneaks out of his old folks home and stay there whenever he can get away with it. The mystery part of the story was really good, it has some pretty good twists. I liked that their relationship isnt perfect, but they're all more than willing to do whatever it takes to make it all work for them. I hope there is more to this series.

My feelings are sort of tangled up with this book. I LOVED revisiting this throuple, and seeing their union from Richard's POV. All three of these characters are so vivid and well defined. And the mystery revolving around the estate was beautifully crafted and the story beats were good. All three main heroes grew and changed, especially Luke.

My only minor quibble was the (brace for it) lack of sex. Book one was crammed full of steamy scenes and it was wonderful. And I'm not asking for sex just for sex sake, but I think I was in the mood for more XXX like book one and this book was kind of a steady R rating.

I really hope the author is planning a third book from Matthew's perspective. I'd love to get in his head.

Anyone else DNF this? Or am I again in the minority not liking this book? I started reading quite some time ago. Around 17% I lost interest and yesterday I returned. Now I'm at 35% and have to say - this is totally boring, no interest in any of the characters. The old guy always appearing at the house and Richard always heading there, to do what? Him realizing that he left his two lovers alone for too long only to then turn around and leave again? I have to say - here is nothing that compels me to read on.

It has been awhile since I read the first book but I was easily drawn back into Richard, Luke, and Matthew's relationship.

A lot has happened since we last saw the threesome. Their relationship still has hiccups to overcome.

The mystery aspect of the romance was engaging and I enjoyed the interaction with Dominic, the former butler of the Harrison estate.

An excellent follow up story.

I found the book a bit annoying. I loved the first one, but it's been a while since I read it. This one doesn't even come close.
For one, there is just so much drama going on. There's the whole plot about the house Richard bought that people want something from, but no one knows what, with the old butler constantly interfering. I took quite a while to properly take off and I was only actually interested in this plot line by the end of the book. For the first half it was just very repetitive and boring.

Then there is all the relationship drama, with Richard constantly making decisions on his own even though he always swears he's trying to involve his partners more. And Matthew is pretty bad too, not able to communicate what he wants and needs. Luke actually seems to be the only one now to keep the relationship together, making the other two talk with each other.

And there are barely any sex scenes. The first one was overloaded on it to the point I got sick of it, but this one has barely any. They often get started just to be interrupted by relationship drama, house drama or something else and I think they actually manage to have sex maybe 2-3 times in the book. I wouldn't want the same volume of them as in the first part, but a bit more sexy times and less false starts would have been nice.

All in all I'm not sold on the book, and I did not get the feeling that in the end something was achieved. Ok, the house's mystery was solved and the money problem addressed and all that, but the relationship did not seemed to have actually moved forwards, despite all the drama around it.

Matthew, Luke and Richard are wonderful. They share the type of love that we all want. Real love works through any problems that arise from within or without.
This second chapter of their story shows the growth of their relationship and their personnel growth. It shows us that even those of us who come across as together and strong like Richard, can have our own insecurities and fears.
That sometimes as we grow we have to hold on tighter while allowing each other space to grow. That love allows each to be their own person with their own needs as well as being a part of a unit.
Love is where and how you find it gay, straight, couple, trio, poly what makes this life worth living is how deeply we love, and as Richard, Luke and Mathew keep saying As long as we have each other we are ok.

This is fascinating, riveting, romantic and suspenseful. Richard finally gets to buy the Harrison Estate. But now he can't get the investors to invest, and people keep breaking in. Matthew and Luke seem distant from him, and closer to each other, and when things get dangerous at the estate, he pushes them away to keep them safe. They push back and he gives in, and together they figure out what it is that everyone believes in on the estate. That has them frantically searching the house, and investigating Griff's death. The Harrison butler, Dominic, knows more than he's telling, but they can't get him to give them the information. So many secrets, so much intrigue and so much love will have you forgetting about everything you should be doing, until you read the last page.

Richard has wanted to buy the Harrison estate for fifteen years and he had finally secured enough funds to do it, just before the owner dies.
Unfortunately others were just as determined to possess what was hidden within by any means possible.
This puts Luke and Matthew, Richards two lovers in danger and Richard will do anything to protect them, but the men find an unlikely ally in Dominic

Great Following Up Lovely MMM Romance/Drama
The boys are back. Richard, Luke and Matthew. I really love these guys. What I most love about Sloan as that she is able to seamlessly weave this threesome lovely. She has my love forever. This story is just as well written and just as sexy and drama filled as the first in this series. Love it.

Very enjoyable

I found this to be a great follow up to book one. I really enjoyed seeing more of Matthew, Luke, and Richard as they work to find balance in their menage relationship. While I did like the characters, Richard was a bit trying at times but all in all it was an enjoyable read.
