"Purpose draws potential. Potential brings to life destiny.
“Understanding you have a purpose is the first brick on the road to destiny!”
—Otis Teague
This book asked the question, is the church the world’s only hope? That with all the challenges and changes people are facing within today’s society in the game called life, when there is an ever increasing need for hope, where is the church, and has the church simply been sidelined with injuries? One of the greater questions is, have we lost sight of the things in this world that really matter? Do people still matter, or has that focus been lost behind all the distractions, turmoil, and mentalities of how much I can I gain in the here and now? A book that speaks to your heart about how much you matter to God, letting you know that God loves and that no matter what you have done or where you are in your life that you can make it! If you would just get to know him, trust that he is a keeper of his word, and simply give him a chance to show you yourself. The challenges we face are never more than we could handle, though we never think about that while we are going through. But after you live through that significant life-changing event, you should realize and know that nothing can overtake you unless you let it, and nothing is greater than the love God has for you."

Great inspirational book! This book was very touching and hits home with our purpose, existence, and simply being Human. We look forward to more from this Author.
Lest We Forget’ is an excellent inspirational book. I used to be afraid to admit that I have a difficult time interrupting and understanding the words of the bible. ‘Lest We Forget’ contains elements of the author’s personal life and examples that help me understand God’s words and thus allows me to place them and incorporate them into my own life. This book is an excellent tool that can be used in bible study and by many groups seeking insightful words of wisdom about Life and Faith. This book has touch my spirit and is one that I am certain I will reference and read many times.
A very important question. Do you have a relationship with God? What happens to those PPL who don’t? Do you get meaning & help out of the scriptures you read? I wish I could agree with everyone that education is the key to minimizing issues & problems through-out the world. But realistically there are those who are just not able to or cannot comprehend.
Are you willing to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & Savior? 1 thing I wish to share I am at awe of those that are willing to risk their lives 24/7 to spread & share the word of God.
As a retired crisis & school social worker working with those that suffer from PTSD or other mental/medical illnesses/disabilities I wish I could have saved all of them.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written biblical book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great biblical movie, PP presentation, mini TV series. Not my normal read but I enjoyed it. Thought provoking I will rate it at 5 stars.

Lest We Forget was a good opinion piece on the Christian religion.
I always liked reading books regarding religion since I was never much of a religious person. Seeing someone's opinion and thoughts on various religions is a very interesting topic. This book specifically looks at the Christian faith and believing in God. It mainly looks at God speaking directly to the reader and offering them advice.
This book was a great insight into what one person views as their religion. People who are interested in the Christian religion would find this book a great, short read! It doesn't open it's mind to much to other religions, so those who are against Christianity might not enjoy it.
There wasn't much wrong with this book. If anything, I would have liked to see the reader endulge into more broad topics: not just "God told me to do something so I did it". But this is not a hindrance to the novel, it's more of an opinion.
Three stars out of five stars. There wasn't anything spectacular to make the book stand out from any online article about why someone is religious. But it was still a good read!
I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.
A short book with practical and positive ways to live a Christian life and to witness to others. I received this book from Goodreads for free. I reccomend this book to anyone.
I won a copy of this book during a Goodreads giveaway. I am under no obligation to leave a review or rating and do so voluntarily. I am paying it forward by passing this book along to a business organization that offers business skills, hope, and dreams to be used in their ministry.
I was interested to read this book, as discussions about religion are so relevant to the modern age and it is interesting to consider how religion still impacts us today, and what religion has to offer in regards to current issues in society and the global environment. The book is short enough to read in one sitting, and while the content may sound like it could be heavy or hard to read, it wasn’t; rather, I found the writing style made the content easy to understand and appreciate. I liked the personal touches that the author added to this book, as this helped the content to be more relatable and inspirational. This book helps you to re-appreciate the connection you may have with religion, or to simply understand and reflect upon the power of religion and what it may have to offer. I found the book to be inspiring and encouraging, and it encouraged me to reflect on what is important and how to get more peace and positivity into my life. I recommend this novel to anyone who is spiritual, perhaps in need of a little more re-affirmation to the power and beauty of faith, or to those readers who may have an interest in learning more about religion and how it can impact our lives.
This was a very inspiring and informative read toward re-thinking and understanding the impact faith and religion can have in your life. I appreciated how the author included experiences from his own life, and I liked how relevant the content of the book is to current issues around the world. The book helps you take a step back to analyse your own life and how society influences how we approach the world and everyday life and how important faith can be in navigating the issues of the modern world. This book inspires you to reconnect with your faith and to remind yourself how important one’s faith is and what is truly important, but the book would still be relevant to those readers who do not hold a strong religious belief, as it would hopefully still inspire one to appreciate life and what it has to offer. I enjoyed this novel and felt very positive after reading it, as it helped me to re-appreciate what is important and to feel inspired to make positive changes.
