In Talking to Ghosts, author Lynny Prince shares her personal experiences with the paranormal from childhood to present day. Included are details of spiritual activity that occurred while writing her blockbuster novel, Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller, a visit from psychic James Van Praagh, along with photos of her paranormal encounters. Things that go bump in the night just got real.
I had anticipated reading Talking to Ghosts while it was in works. Being a huge fan of author Lynny Prince and knowing her special gifts as an intuitive and empath I knew I was in for a real treat. This collection of encounters the author has experienced offers different themes and each from a different time. There are also a few real photos, which give the story a real sense of identity with people and places in the story. The descriptions are so vivid you can almost feel as though you are there at that very moment in time. My favorite passage is the one in which Lynny sees her mother with her first husband sitting out on the swings in her backyard one winter morning. She actually got a chance to communicate with them. This evoked so many emotions in me with losing my parents and wishing I had this wonderful experience also. I read this Novella in one night because I just couldn’t put it down! If you love paranormal occurrences and have ever had any of your own you will identify with Author Lynny Prince and will be shocked with what she has to share with you.
I just finished reading "Talking to Ghosts" by Lynny Prince. As kids and while growing up sometimes we think we hear or see something but shrug it off as just your imagination. After reading this I felt that maybe, just maybe these "things" weren't my imagination. Perhaps I should have paid more attention. I do believe that "spirits" exist and now I will pay more attention. Thank you Lynny for sharing and can't wait to hear more.
This is an easy read about the author’s discovery of her discovery of her ability as a medium, a gift she’d had no wish for and that she didn’t seek out. Compelling and believable.
This was a page turner! What amazed me is how personal it quickly became, which added to the realism, and felt like a window into one of my favorite authors life. We can all relate to these short stories. Highly recommended!
