Luna isn't the brightest bulb, and she made it difficult to finish this book. It also felt unfinished in plot points.

The most clueless and manipulated main character ever. She never had a clue what was going on around her. Running from an ex boyfriend but has lots of family who cares for her. Don't understand her at all.

Awesome!

Another excellent story from Sabrina Stark's work. I can't get enough of the stories she writes. This book are loaded with fun, excitement, wild, and sexiness.

So after I finished reading "Jaked" I needed to finish the series and get some answers to my questions. I guess I got them... Most of this book was somewhat irritating because Luna just seemed like such an idiot!! She just didn't really catch on to anything! At times I can't say that I totally blamed her because Jake gave her nothing!! No information, no hints, no clues of any kind as to what the hell was going on! But I mean, how dumb did she have to be? I had no idea what the hell was happening, but I at least had ideas! At the end I just thought to myself, "how dumb is she??" I mean it's clear what's happening! I mean Bianca is a total bitch, but listen to her!! Geez!!! And while I am mostly satisfied with the answers I got, one more was brought up... What the hell was the point of bringing his brother Joel into the mix?? He's in one chapter, and a pretty pivotal one, and then he just goes away?? Huh??

Overall, I found the premise of these books to be pretty entertaining and definitely a different type of story. Very cool that Jake takes advantage of the riches there are to be made as an internet-ainer. I definitely would have liked more info most of the time or for Luna to have not been such a simpleton, but mostly it was an easy read, with a pretty sexy, badass alpha who, in the end, is ridiculously sweet!

I did not enjoy this book as much as part one. Luna was the most clueless character I have read about. Most of the story she didn't catch on to what was going on. The back and forth dialog was ok, until it never ends. I have to admit I skimmed through to get to the really good part only to finally get to the end, and I was not very trilled.

I've been such a fan of all of Sabrina Stark's books, ever since I picked up UNBELONGING. All of her books have that certain something that I can't put my finger on, but I know it when I see it. I've re-read them a couple of times -- like you do with favorite books! -- because each time I read them, I find something else to enjoy.

The Jake and Luna story thrilled me from the beginning. It was interesting to see how Jake's character developed and surprised me. In JAKED, he had some rough edges that made him intriguing, but I wasn't totally sure about him. He completely won me over with his tough-but-tender self.

And Luna -- there's a girl after my own heart, both strengths and weaknesses. Sabrina Stark really has a way with her heroines, making you feel almost like you know them in real life. Maybe that's why the books are so great as re-reads, like meeting up with old friends.

All of the Bishop brother books have come together to make a vivid world, so real you feel like you could get in your car and go visit. With an eye to that, there are other characters and hints of characters in JAKE ME. I hope they're going to get their own stories soon, plus I'd like to hear what Lawton, Chloe, Selena and Bishop are up to these days.

I must make more time for reading!

I am not a fan of this series so far, the only reason why I finished it was because I had the audiobook so I could listen to it while driving.

The drama was really forced. I don't particularly like Luna, the main character, she is really bland and I couldn't connect with her at all. I hate writing anything too negative because I can appreciate the amount of time and creativity that goes into writing, however it took me two attempts to get through both the first and the second book in this series.

My favorite part of both books was when Jake's brother goes looking for her at his place and the fighting between Luna and Jake's old fling/pr agent (if you can call her that). That is how little I liked these books. I don't know how the heck it can even be considered a romance. Sorry, not sorry.

Also, between these 2 books Luna lost/quit 4 jobs, has terrible taste in men, and makes idiotic decisions. Let's not forget that she sleeps with Jake the day after he screwed her stripper roommate. COME ON, what the hell is romantic about that?!

Jesus Christ, where do I even start? The main character, Luna, is a total dumbass. Always clueless even though it is CLEARLY obvious what is going on. Also, the story seems so repetive. All the characters were shit, besides Jake...sort of. Bianca was an annoying unnecessary character, Luna's brother were just money hungry assholes, Luna being the dumbest girl on earth, and Jake was just your typical alpha male. I don't even know how I could even finish the first book to start this one. The plot was decent, but don't waste your time with this unless you want to pull out your hair all the fucking time.

What did I think? It had the potential of being a good story but sorry, it tanked. The main character can't even be described as naive or even a ding-bat, just out and out stupid. At first I thought it was the 'comic relief' but sadly, no, which of course made the entire premise totally unbelievable. Street-wise rich ladies killer totally taken with a completely fool who can't keep her mouth shut? Yeah, no. Although, I still like the author's writing style, seriously, don't bother....you'll be as disappoint as I am. What a waste.

I need one more book in this series....

Omg. That ending!? The most enjoyable part of the book was the last 20%, so I feel like the story should've had another 20% left to it to finish out the growing story line. My favorite part was (without giving anything away) on the second to last page... I wanted more to the secret he told her he whispered to Rango!!! Ugh.

Honestly, I'm tired of these books that should be completed in one novel but are dragged on for two. I enjoyed the first book--I was bored in the second. I would have rather had one book with less boring scenes. That's just my personal opinion.

This was an okay read but the heroine was completely naive. She wasn’t stupid but she completely ignored all the signs as to what Jake did. There were times when I thought to myself that she can’t be this naive….then she would do something to prove that she was.

Also the constant drama that Bianca and Rango brought got extremely predictable and annoying after awhile. Luna needed to just throat punch Bianca and get it over with. As for Rango she should have either let Jake handle it or the police cause he was legit harassing her.

Hooray for more adventures of Luna and Jake!! I just love these two!! This was a fantastic second book. I felt like there was more angst for Luna and Jake was more soft and sweet towards her in this book. He may be bad@ss and fight for a living, but Jake is so swoon worthy!! *sigh* They still can't get it together and that's just fine by me!! It's like denied gratification LOL!! I'm almost sad that there is only one more book in this series. But I can't wait to see what happens next!

Great series

I am re-reading this series because I didn't know about book three. So glad that I can finish one and start right away with the other book in the series. Loved it the first time and still love it.

Amazing!

I laughed so hard my husband thought I was losing it! I love how it ended and that I didn’t feel the first story was repeated in a boring way. Read in only a few hours and it was great

Don't Do It, Jake!!!

I really liked "Jake Me," but I think Luna's name was no accident because she is as ditzy as they come. Maybe he would have been better off with Bianca. I'm still going to read "Jake Forever!"

Laugh out loud funny romance

Jake thinks he's a bad guy not good enough for Luna . Some how Jake's always protecting Luna from bad guys . Too bad Luna never takes Jake's advise or warnings she probably won't get into so much trouble if she listen once in awhile

Keeps getting better

One man going nuts over the woman he chooses not to have, and one one going nuts over a man she chose to walk away from. Although these two sure put you on a rollercoaster, it was sure worth the read. Cant wait to read the finale

*I was gifted a copy of Jake Me by the author. I am not compensated for my honest opinion.*

Walking away from Jake Bishop is supposed to be the right thing for Luna Moon to do, so why is it she can’t seem to stay away from him? Thanks to Jake, she is penniless and jobless, and she needs a place to stay and some money quickly. She lucks into a job at a hotel that has an immediate opening, but it seems Luna’s troubles are determined to follow her wherever she goes.

Luna’s crazy ex-boyfriend is still after what she stole from him, and she needs Jake’s help to straighten out this mess once and for all. Jake knows he’s no good for Luna, yet he can’t let her go. Luna will have to decide on the right choice: staying with Jake who she’s loved for years, or leaving him for good this time.

Jake Me is book two of the Jaked Series, and it picks up right where Jaked left off. With Luna leaving Jake’s penthouse, she’s in a bit of a jam with no job and no place to go. Enter Luna’s brothers, who add an additional dose of humor to this story. I enjoyed their characters quite a bit even though they were not central to the story. This book has the same feel as the first one with short chapters filled with mostly dialogue. This works well to keep things moving, but it doesn’t lend itself to much depth to any of the characters. And Jake continues to give vague and non-answers throughout this story, which grows frustrating after a while.

I enjoyed the plot of the story, with Jake trying to do what’s right by Luna and push her away since he knows he’s no good for her. But he’s always loved her, so he won’t be able to resist forever. And as hard as Luna’s tried to deny her feelings for Jake, at some point these two hard-headed characters will need to realize they can’t stay away.

The same types of minor editing issues appeared in the second book as in the first, but they didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. The plot is good, and with a little more work it could have been great. Regardless, I liked this book as much as I liked the first one. It was pretty good for a second chance romance.

Wow again, much like in book 1 it is Sabrina Stark's unique and slightly screwy viewpoint that makes this book work. Her writing is so easy to read and how she grabs you and makes you hang on is what makes a great contemporary romance writer.

Now after book 1 we were left with a ton of unanswered questions and yes all of them get answered in book 2 but so much happens in the book we as readers aren't sure what we care about most...getting the questions answered or smacking Luna around for being a naive fool...with TSTL tendencies. Luckily it was Jake who made this book. The reader watched him grow and mature in this book. Yes, he is still all protective and alpha but more of his background and thinking are revealed and we see why he has become the man he is. I grew to love him more and more but the more I loved him the more I wanted to shoot Luna myself. She really came across as immature and soooo stupid ...the hotel scene is a great example of her being TSTL. I mean really! I'm afraid her character did make this book lose a star....
On the positive side her brothers had me rolling on the floor laughing they were a total hoot! I would love to read their story some day.

I enjoyed the feel of the mafia about the book and the intrigue that kept the reader hanging in there to see how it would all end. I'm really curious now as to the other books Sabrina Stark has published and I know I will go back and read them. Her voice is quirky and enjoyable. I give this book a 4 star review and a recommendation. If you are looking for a different read and just get lost in a story this would be a great book for you to spend a day or two reading. You will end up smiling I guarantee it!

You say you want to read something with
• A fascinating story line
• Well-drawn, sympathetic characters
• Romance
• Mystery
• And a sense of humor?
You say you haven’t read Sabrina Stark’s books? Well, there you go.

The author has done something very few writers can do. She has created a set of unique stories about the members of one family. They are all different and completely separate, stand-alone stories without the needless intrusion of characters from other books seen in so many series.
I happened to read them out of sequence, which was satisfying, but to enjoy them to best effect, here’s their story chronology:
Start with Unbelonging and Rebelonging, told from the female’s POV and Lawton and Rastor, which tell the same story from the man’s POV. Interestingly, the events were perceived differently by the two main characters, so you really get two different stories, meaning they could be read separately. I read them concurrently, flipping from one to the other after each major event, which was a fun read.
Chronologically, the book Illegal Fortunes follows.
Finally, read the books Jaked, Jake Me, and Jake Forever.

If you enjoy the books as much as I did, you’ll be happy to know there are still five family members to go: Lawton’s little sister, Selena and Luna’s two brothers, and Bishop and Jake’s two brothers, as well. Here’s hoping Ms. Stark keeps going!

This book is the second in a two part series and you need to read the first to understand what is happening in this book.

I really enjoyed this book and was happy to get some answers to things raised in the first book 'Jaked'.

Luna Moon and Jake Bishop are still crazy about each other but are still fighting to find a balance that allows them to be together or at least be capable to get on with things when apart.

Luna is still having issues with her ex and Jake is determined as ever to protect her even if she doesn't know it. Jake is not just the tough guy thug that some think he is also a guy with a conscious and a sene of justice.

I can definitely say that I got into this book more than the first one. There are laugh out loud moments as well as many frustrating ones. One thing is for sure is that I would love to read a book about Luna's brothers, they seem like a riot and are very witty and sarcastic .
