My Bitch, Yo Bitch....Everybody Bitch
Storybook relationships are rarely what they appear to be. Most of these seemingly perfect relationships are filled with lies, deceit, and a little bit of insanity, just like Mike and LiLi's. Mike fell in love with abused, promiscuous LiLi when he was sixteen, and over a span of seven years (two of which he spent incarcerated), his world evolved into confusion, hurt, and betrayal. LiLi girl you hoe 😱 Look at the bs you caused! I blame all they ass. Niki strikes again 😁 Mike should know to never settle and try to wife a hoe who is clearly for the streets SMH I sho wonder who was trying to run Mike dumb ass over. Now I understand LiLi had a sad childhood but the chick should have reached out for help or counseling or something before starting a relationship and bringing somebody in her sad ass life. This could have easily been a three star short story had there not been so many spelling errors and repeating of the same lines again and again. Then the cliff hanger ending, ugh! I will end up searching for the second book.

Craziness at its best
This Love triangle is really crazy. Mike is so in love he just can't see the bs. It's sad that it took the voices in his head to make him see the light about the live of his life Lili. Lick'em low Lili just didn't care. I was rooting for Mike. Waiting to see when he will finally see the light. Lili needs an old fashion whipping.

I'm not sure who was the intended audience. The situations were adult, but the writing was extremely sophmoric
What could Niki Jilvontae have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
The author could provide structure, character and plot development, continuity, and engage a team that supports her craft by providing editing, proofing and beta-testing prior to publishing. While the riding was extremely sophomoric, the grammatical errors were evident even with the audio. The narrator did her job which was to read what was provided. The content editor for the audio release missed some key things. Full sentences were often repeated and a time or two complete passages.
How could the performance have been better?
I've experienced Cee Scott's earlier work. She has improved greatly. The distracting flaws surrounded the audio quality
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment that the potential was missed by a 100 miles. A good man destroyed by a deeply flawed jezebel could have actually been a fantastic book.

I purchased book on sale $1.99. Book 2 I purchased for $10. I'll be exchanging both immediately not because of the sophmoric wirting, but because the audio quality was not worth the price. I hope they will provide me a better quality version.

Niki you've done it again!!
This was a book you didn't want to put down. The turbulent triangle of LiLi, Mike and Dee kept me wondering what will happen next. Sometimes you have to stop and think about what people have experienced in their past which has dictated how they act in the present. LiLi has a lot goin on and you constantly wonder what if her perfect world existed. Would her destiny been different if? Would she want to do something different because of what she's been through?
The book ends making you want to know more. And I can't wait for part two.
I love reading the author's work. She always have something with a real life issue that she tackles well.

Crazy but good...
I don't think this was my type of read even though it was good and I read it in a couple of hours. I'm just not a big fan of taking people's feelings and emotions for granted. Yes we all have something from our past that may make us lose all feelings for anyone other than ourselves, but to me, that's selfishness. I'm sorry...just the way I feel...so I'm declining from paying $2.99 for part 2 just for me to know it's going to end badly with SOMEBODY hurt....whether it's their feelings, dead, or jail...

weird
I kind if thought this was a weird story. It's about a man who loved a woman so much that he refused to see her flaws. She's been abused so much that she thought it was ok to play with this mans heart. I know they say live is blind, but really. How can you not know your woman is stripping every night. When she's not home at night where is she? But yet in the story he always kept tabs on her. Just wasnt my cup of tea.

On The Edge of No Return
This was definitely a good read. This book had me on the edge. It was gritty, raunchy and spellbinding all wrapped up in one. I have never read anything by this author but I will most definitely be following and reading everything she has to offer. It was a quick read and well worth the time. Kudos Author Niki Jilvontae

Real life ish
I like how this book portrayed real life issues of trying to save someone from themselves. Only this time instead of it being a woman, it's a man. Women are known for trying to fix broken men & it just can't be done. I'm not going to give anything about the book away just know that you won't be disappointed with the book.

This book was everything. Lili is definitely that bitch and not in a good way. Dee is just as trifling as she is. He goes on and on about how Mike all weak for her like he ain't no matter how hard he try to act. I feel bad for Mike. Ain't no hope for these hoes and he had way to much in her.
