Praying With Ignatius of Loyola by Jacqueline Syrup Bergen and Marie Schwan
I took this book on retreat with me this year. Thought I would finish that weekend, that didn't happen It became a book filled with diverse prayer ideas. That was good but not what I expected. This book is a reflective type of book. You will learn the varied ways Ignatius prayed, also you will learn about his life. When I go on retreat every year I go to a place in Saint Louis called White House Retreat, it sits on the bluffs of the Mississippi River on 80 acres of ground. It is run by the Jesuits. which was founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola. There are other books by this publisher, some of which are Dorothy Day Saint Theresa of Avila ,Saint Vincent de Paul and Thomas Merton on but a few. overall this is a 5 star book on prayer
