I have said in other reviews that I don’t find near as much interest in the characters for the second set of cheerleaders in this series and this book was really annoying with the way Jessica treats Patrick. Poor Patrick has been so unlucky in relationships throughout this entire series. I only read some of the books in the series after the first set of cheerleaders graduated except for Olivia and what has held my interest in the books once they started with the second squad is they kept some of the old characters like Pres and Mary Ellen and Patrick and of course Olivia.

Jessica breaks up with Patrick because he tries to give her a kitten, so he ends up kissing Tara, and Tara decides to adopt the kitten and tells Patrick she wants to stay in Tarenton her whole life.
