Brimax BooksTen Little KittensA great book to help children bring their interest (cats/animals) to mathematical learning.
Read with expression it is great fun, and I would think that kids can like this too. It was one of my favorite books as a kid purely because of the images and presentation.

My edition is slightly different than the one described here. Instead of "Ten Lttle Kittens walking in a line; one plays with a feather, that leaves only nine." ; mine starts out on the cover with "Ten cuddly little cats together all the time. But one strays off alone and then there are nine." It is a Brimax Book, published in 1971, though.

My daughter and I loved this Board Book brimming with cats on its tabbed pages.

Count down grom 10 with these adorable kittens. What antics are these kittens up to? I read this as a child and it still holds up today with my kids.
