I actually give this book a 6+ stars!!!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC, because let's face it when I am loving a series this much, I am just not patient!
Eli was the only one who found true love of the 4 hot alpha Sterling brothers. No one, especially the other brothers thought they were even capable of the feeling, Dax didn't really believe in the concept of love until one night with Holden, a woman he can't even find again or really even knows anything about. So what does he do but find one of about a million others lined up to be a Sterling play thing. Trying to bury his feelings in the companionship of other women is the only thing to do, right? Until Holden returns to his world.
This 2nd installment gets even better, you really won't want to wait to see how Dax's plays out!!! Thank you HJ Bellus!!!

This is Volume 2 of a 4 volume series, each about one of 4 brothers who are in Los Angeles to expand their chain of nightclubs. Each volume is the length of a novella. I absolutely LOVED Dax and Holden, and watching their journeys as they help heal each other. I want to read more about them both!! Their story is HAWT! I think Dax might be my favorite of the brothers but I still need to read the other brothers' stories, which I'm gonna do now!!

I really enjoyed Dax and Holden’s story. This installment to the series was equal parts of sweet and sexy. Talk about opposites attract! Their pairing was full of differences, but it worked. Many parts of this story tugged at my heartstrings. They both have a horrible past that they have survived through and now they can continue to grow from it and battle oncoming obstacles together.
I’m loving getting to know these brothers. On to Volume #3…..

Oh my gee!!! Dax and Holden are amazing together!!
The man who gets anything with the snap of his fingers and the girl who strived her whole life just to go unnoticed. It's the complete opposites attract story, but nothing you've ever read before!
"Are you afraid of me?"
"I'm afraid of the way you made me feel. I'm not sure if I can take your touch again."
Holden breaks my heart, but the way Dax truly loves her, makes the pain better. Their romance isn't the norm, which is why I love it!

The storyline continues in book two. My heart is breaking for Eli! H.J. Bellus does an excellent job at keeping the perils of the west coast in the drama, never allowing us to forget what Eli and Chloe are going through and introducing the reader to Dax and Holden. Holden has been through an unspeakable past, but Dax is set on introducing her to a new way of living and teaching her, his Birdy, how to spread her wings and fly!

Amazing!
These stories continually get better, each new story evolves from the prior book. Making you even more invested from the get go. Dax is such a loveable character, that is evolving right along with the story. Holden is one of those characters that is going to stick with you for a long time to come!

Well this is a hard one to write. Volume one ended with a cliffy and knowing each volume would be focussed on 1 brother I was kind of curious to see how they would tie in Chloe and Eli's tragic events. This may be Dax and Holden's story but I had a hard time getting into that at first because I was horrified with what Eli and Chloe are going through. It is devastating and I just wanted more of that. Having said that , the second I truly met Holden and learned about her I was hooked. She is such a unique person and her innocence and struggle is so captivating that I was able to move on and embrace Dax and Holden's story. My only fear is that with each new volume I will start off craving more about the previous couple and it will take me time to give up that desire !! This is not a bad thing , just means I am loving the characters so much I can't let them go !! I want all of all of them in every volume !!!!!!!
Dax of course is the big troublemaker of the group. Volume one started off with him in trouble and until that one subtle moment he had with Eli there really wasn't much more to him than a parade of women. Months prior Dax was with a girl that he cannot get out of his mind. Once reunited with her he changes into this totally different person , the REAL Dax emerges and he is just amazing and yummy and loving !! Holden is special and he has known that from the first time he met her. Now having her again and learning all about her struggles you can't help but melt. I want to know more about Holden , her past seems so heartbreaking and lonely. I cannot imagine growing up that way. I love how Dax supports her growth and offers up new experiences to her in such a loving way. Talk about swoonworthy !! I am hoping we get more of their journey in Cole's book and so on etc etc !!
This doesn't end with so much a cliffhanger but more of a holy crap I cannot believe this is going to happen and it must be a nightmare and we will all wake up and everyone will be happy and healthy. Heartache , heartbreak , devastation is coming but I am hoping that maybe some prayers will be answered and things will turn around.

This volume follows another of the Sterling brothers, Dax. He's your typical rockstar mentality, drink, get high and have sex. However, one night with Holden, ruins all the fun his lifestyle brings.
Holden is the only woman who's ever snuck out of Dax's bed, and she's the only one he'd be okay with having stay in it longer. After their night together, Dax no longer sees Holden, it's like she disappeared, until she ends up being his waitress. Dax convinces her to a short term relationship, with no intentions of ending it when agreed on.
I was very excited for this story after reading Volume 1, and still liked it. I knew going into this book that it would focus on a different brother than the one in Volume 1, but I also had the expectation of getting answers from questions regarding Vol 1. And there are still a lot of
Questions unanswered.
I did enjoy the book, again, it was a lot of information to take in for such a short book, but still I as a reader, did not feel overwhelmed by all of it.
I loved seeing Dax's softer side come out. Holden comes from a very dysfunctional background, and I was surprised at the way Dax comforted and helped her through some of her issues, however, I really hope volume 3 gives more answers as what happened to her in her childhood.
I am looking forward to the next Volume in this series, this group of brothers is all-consuming. There were more details in this book that drops hints of what to expect in the next two Volumes.

**My preference as reviewer is to review a series in its entirety when all novels/novellas are available. This is especially true of serials when one novel/novella is dependent on another. This allows me to be able to review the complexity and depth of the storyline and characters. I feel this provides a more honest and fairer review for the author. While other bloggers may not agree with me, this is just my personal preference and there is nothing wrong with providing individual reviews.**
I LOVE HJ Bellus and the Mr. Right Now series did not disappoint. The Mr. Right Now series is a four-part erotic serial that follows four brothers, Dax, Cole, Eli and Kam, and their chain of “Made to Sin” night clubs. While each brother primarily gets profiled in their own volume, there is quite a bit of crossover between stories so I would not read these as standalone novellas. Each novella is short and sweet and makes for a really fun, quick read.
These novellas are full of lust, love and angst. They are very well written. The storyline is fabulous and the characters are great. The four brothers are devastatingly sexy and HOT, HOT, HOT!!!! The chemistry in these novellas is off the charts so be prepared to be panting and wanting more.
After reading these novellas, I definitely wanted more and I have been told that there will be more to come. If you are looking for a quick, naughty read, I would highly recommend these novellas. I am sure that I will read them a few more times myself.

This is a continuation of the volume 2 of Mr. Right Now.
Dax reminds me of a jack hammer, since performs in bed like one. He lost the chance to love the red head from a few years ago. He crosses path with her once again and will stop at nothing to make her his for good.
Dax may have slept with countless women, but the entire time, he imagined that it was Holden he was having sex with. He wasn't one for commitment since he up and left the love of his life. But now that they cross path, he plans to keep her forever.
Just when they both thought that everything was going the way they wanted, someone who wanted to be with Dax, tries to ruin what they have always wanted. Will Holden be strong enough to move forward with Dax? They both live from a different world that they need all the luck in the world to reconcile the relationship they once had.

This Novella series is quite fast paced, left on a cliffhanger in the first book, and we don't actually carry on straight where it left off but start with another Brother 'Dax' his story starts with a bang, His party ways are legendary as are his brothers, and in this volume you will meet the girl who will bring his heart back to life, I do like how Ms Bellus has taken these 4 brothers, they are brash forthright and obnoxious but at the same time honourable in their support for each other. Although their idea of how to deal with relationships is a bit messed up - the brothers having ruined Eli and Chloe's love the first time around.
I did expect more to be told about how Eli and Chloe and we do, but its brief and does not come to a head until the end. BUT there again I was so taken with the story that was evolving between Dax and Holden (her name did make me giggle tho as in Australia theres a whole Holden/Ford divide and all I could think of was cars when I saw her name)
Holden comes from a very abusive background, and we learn a little of that traumatic childhood, but I am glad that its given bit by bit. I was also intrigued, how Dax was ready to turn over a new leaf and support Holden, his little 'Birdy'.
I look forward to reading book 3 to see how this series develops

So after that doozy of a cliffy, I thought to myself there's no way HJ is going to put us through anymore stress. BUT I was so wrong and I love it!!! These are so not what you are going to expect. You're thinking Mr Right Now party boys equals fun alcohol and one night stands. While these do happen in abundance there is so much more to the story. The issues that are visited in each volume will pull at your heartstrings and make you feel for the characters. These are so different from anything I've read before.
In this volume we get Dax and Holden's story. Holden is the one night stand who Dax can't forget. Both have pasts that were not easy and have greatly affected their lives. Holden wow this is a type of character that I have never read about. I'm loving how she is making strides and I can't wait to see where she goes in the future. Dax I'm kinda in love with him and how he changes for the right woman.
We get peeks at the other brothers and I have my guesses with who the last two will end up with. This one doesn't end on such a crazy cliffhanger as volume one BUT it definitely leaves you wanting more!! LOVING ME SOME Sterling Brothers.

What happens next after the first book? It's Dax turn. Dax meets a red haired women who he spends one night with and can't stop thinking about her. He does everything to forget her by having countless women to entertain him sexually and he still can't escape her from his dreams.
When he finally finds her again, he refuses to take no for an answer. He begs her for six weeks, thinking that will be enough to get her out of his system.But will six weeks be enough for him? Or will Dax even have enough time to enjoy his redheaded goddess with trouble around every corner and the possibility of jail?
I liked this book. It was very good. But I think the cliffhanger from book one was on my mind and it is hard to connect with Dax and his red headed goddess when I couldn't stop thinking and worrying about that. But I do finally connect with him and do love him and his desire to protect and even maybe even love her. A major first for him. Its a good transformation for him and I love the growth. This book gives us inside not just Dax but the Sterling brothers too. Now I just can't wait to read what happens in Volume 3.

This is all about Dax. He is over 6 feet of pure sin and pleasure. Like all Sterling brothers, women throw themselves at his feet. To be used for hours pleasure nothing more. He doesn't double dip. Not until her. Not until he was left in bed alone. No goodbyes, nothing just gone. He does what most men do and tries to fuck everything that crosses his path to forget her. And as usual it doesn't work! No amount of partying and fucking can fill the void.
And then he sees her again and has to have her! He offers 6 weeks but will it be enough. Will he want more at the end? Will she stay or disappear again?
They are both in uncharted waters trying to muddle their way through.
Is Dax a new man or will he get back to his normal ways? These two are amazing together. Being what each other needs and not even really trying. I loved watching the romance grow and the trust build. It was a touching story. I couldn't put it down!

Okay, so I was apprehensive about these books at first but after I started reading I was absolutely hooked. I love all of the brothers. Each one is pretty dang flawed and has their own baggage and issues but each one of them is also incredibly honest and full of heart. Eli is one of those unexpected softies, Dax is probably my favorite and a bit of a gentle giant, Cole is frustrating but you root for him and then there is Kam who you just want to shake but you know he's just got a bit of a broken heart. Aside from the brothers, there's the ladies. Chloe is cool, Birdy is adorable, Jax is badass and Jett is admirable.
My only downside to these books is the fact that I want more. I swear each one of these stories could have had their own full length novel.
Anyway, totally recommend and I can't wait to see what happens in Denver.
Okay, so I was apprehensive about these books at first but after I started reading I was absolutely hooked. I love all of the brothers. Each one is pretty dang flawed and has their own baggage and issues but each one of them is also incredibly honest and full of heart. Eli is one of those unexpected softies, Dax is probably my favorite and a bit of a gentle giant, Cole is frustrating but you root for him and then there is Kam who you just want to shake but you know he's just got a bit of a broken heart. wow, what a 360 degree turn in the writing
I read the first volume, and it was kinda bad. The characters were kinda whiney and immature. This book was a 1000 times better! I couldn't believe it was by the same author. Why did I download book 2 two if book was so bad? Well, they are on kindle unlimited and the cliffhanger in book 1 was a doozy. So I figure why not see what happens in book 2.
Book 2 is about Dax and Holden's story, but there are still ongoing elements of Eli and Chloe. It's actually quite enjoyable. I hope book 3 continues with this stronger writing and storyline!

This is one of the four volumes included in the book called Mr. Right Now The Sterling Brothers.
I was tempted to put this as a 4 star but feel it is better than that. The only reason I didn't think at first it deserved 5 stars was how volume one ended and then how this book began. I was confused a bit but trust me that the answers do come out so don't be dissuaded to not read this and the rest of the set because you think the author isn't going to let you know what happened. It will be worth the time to read and see where it goes. Lost love and the drama that happens in this book will have you on the edge of your seat. Definitely some shockers to come out.

In this volume we watch Dax fall hard for the girl he's looked for since she walked out of his room over a month ago. He hasn't been able to forget Holden and hired a PI to find her again. He's a lot more honest and down to earth in this volume and you'll find yourself loving this side of him. Holden is a sweetheart. She had a strict and unsettling childhood, but with Dax by her side, I think they'll both be fine.
Questions are still out there regarding Eli and Chloe. I'm looking forward to volume 3 to see what happens next.

Holy hell this book just about killed me!
I was literally on the edge of my seat all the way through this one just dying to know what was going to happen next! I could have easily read a whole series with just Dax and Holden!
I loved how the Author created them as both damaged individuals instead of just the one of them having issues. The way they worked together to hold each up was my favorite aspect of this story.
This book was fast paced, smoking hot and just all around amazing! I am off and running for book 3!!!!

Dax uses other women to try to get a certain woman that he can’t forget out of his head. He finally sees Holden again at the hotel. Holden is a very odd girl because of how she was raised. She and Dax are definitely opposites. Their story is so good. All of the other Sterling brothers pop in and out of the book. I can’t wait to find out what Cole’s story is going to be. I love these series. So much mystery and so many things happening, you just can’t wait to get through one book to get to the next one. I am loving Mr. Right Now!

Well it is official I am completely hooked on the Sterling brothers. Wow talk about opposits attreact when it comes to Dax and Holden! I loved how sweet yet protective Dax was of Holdenand helping her come out of her shell. Holden my heart just hurts for her and the things she has experienced in her life!
These characters are amazing and H.J. Bellus writing pulls you right in. I would definitley recommend this book to everyone and cant wait for volume 3!!

We meet Dax who drowns himself in sex sex sex and drugs just to forget Holden the girl he had a one night stand and couldn't find her after that. They finally meet up and Dax asks for six weeks together. During their time together we learn they both have issues but together they just click. Also in this installment we are still dealing with the fallout of what happened to Chole at the end of book one.

I enjoyed this quick, fast-paced story. It was great to see Dax get his act together because of Holden.
I didn't read the first book, and I'll admit it felt like I was missing something because of it. It wasn't enough to take away from the story, but I think I would have felt more of a connection between the brothers if I had. I will definitely go back and read the first book, and I'm looking forward to the other books in the series.

Dax loves his lifestyle sex and alcohol fuel his nights until he spends one with Holden he has never forgotten Holden,after one night he cant find her and knows nothing about her until she turns up as his waitress.They start a relationship but both have pasts they find difficult to deal with.Dax helps her deal with some of her issues,hes protective and caring and slowly but surely helps her step into the light.I loved this second instalment and cant wait for the third!!

i am not sure what kind of the stories they are. For the book one, telling about Eli and Chloe, in Book 2, there is Dax and Holden but.... we knew that Chloe was attracked and she is going to die.
All boys are adopted and they are crused. I am sure it is, may be it is a series of dark but i really don't get it.
