Loyalty

However, the years have changed who they once were. Adam chose the path into a life of violence and illicit activity while the girl who had fought beside him as a teenager chose a very different path, one that is so far from who Adam is now that their joining can only be a catastrophe in the making.
This book contains scenes of graphic violence, explicit sex scenes and strong language.

"Honesty and truth before lies and remorse.”
This one packed just as much of a punch as the first. I love these bad ass characters, the plot, and the twistedness of it.
D.H. Sidebottom does it again. She sucks me in with the first book, then fills me up with this one. I'm in awe of this series, the characters, and the unpredictable plot unfolding before me. I can't wait to see where these books will go.

Loyalty a Novella from the Devine series is a story of Adam (Jake Devine’s Right hand man) and Carrie, Adam’s long lost love.
DH Sidebottom knows how to write a series that you can help but be addicted to. The intensity of emotion that this novella makes you feel not just from the characters but from the story it will have you glued to the pages. The story is about fate, friendship, loss, love, envy and Loyalty!! This novella is passionate, suspenseful, and sexy. It also changed the way I had originally perceived Adam to be in Surrender (book #1). A must read! Can't wait for more from this great series!

Loved Adam and was so excited to read his story, and love him even more now! Him and Carrie are a fireball of a duo and they had me at the edge of my seat the whole way through. Brilliant new series by the amazing DH Sidebottom, and can't wait for the next installment. It's bound to be epic!

Short story about Adam and Carrie’s love story. They fall in love at 14, and at 18 they decide to get married. But before that happens, Carrie’s twin brother, Gabe, is killed by Adam’s father to pay off a debt. Adam decides to leave Manchester and his friend Cole puts him in touch with Jake Devine in London.
Now, 13 years later, Carrie is a crown judge in London and Adam works for a criminal and when their paths cross again they are in opposite sides of the justice system. Carrie has problem with the commissioner, Jake’s father, and Adam offers his help. She refuses but she ends up reaching out and demand answers for her former love.
So many lies, betrayals have separated this couple and when they found the person responsible they will make him pay.
I wish it had been somewhat longer, Carrie’s father seems like a very interesting character. I hope to see more of this couple in future books.
“I was always there with you. Miles are nothing, Car. The moon held both our souls after that night and it watched over us both for so long.”
“I’ve always loved you, babe. I never stopped, nor will I ever stop. Even when God takes my last breath, my mind will be full of you, my heart full of love for you and only you.” “But,” she continued, completely perplexed by my admission. “You left because of me. I slept with your best friend. Shit, I had a child with him. How can you still love me, even after all these years?” My heart clenched. I hadn’t missed how she hadn’t returned my words. “Ask my heart that,” I answered, taking another look at the photo of her little boy. “I can’t dictate how it feels. It just feels, Carrie.”

Her work never fails to blow my mind and this is no exception.

Holy HELL!!
I didn't think I could love a novella more than the 1st book in a series but LOVE does not even describe what I feel for this book!
I have THE BIGGEST girl crush on Carrie!
Loyalty is Adam and Carrie's story.
We were introduced to Adam, the fun loving right hand man of the devilishly sexy Jake Devine, in Surrender: (Devine #1). In the 1st book we get a brief glimpse of Adam getting a visit from Carrie. Loyalty expands on this and more into the life Adam and Carrie have shared and missed through the years.
Carrie has tracked down Adam after losing him so many years ago. Her life imploded the day Adam left. Her hate and love for Adam has her tracking him down now that she's moved to town and in perfect D.H style it is an explosive reunion for what is now one of my new favorite couples!
Loyalty may be just a brief novella but it is chock full of twist, angst, and blisteringly HOT passion.
The more I learned about the bad ass, that is Carrie the more I LOVED!! She is a force to be reckoned with! I can't wait for more from this series and see where D.H will take these characters.

Wow! Another absolutely gripping tale from D H Sidebottom.
This novella, book #1.5 in the Devine series was a complete shock.
We first meet and get to know fun loving, cheeky, humours Adam in book #1, Surrender, but not once did I expect him to have such a distressing back story.
He's lost the two people he loved most in the world but after joining Jake's team, he seems to have made a life for himself.
But when his past comes looking for him, it's full of surprises and reawakened heartache.
Carrie's character was a complete shocker! The judge is sure to surprise you as much as she did me.
This novella was a perfect filler, while waiting for book #2 and sets the scene perfectly for what is sure to be another knock out instillation from this amazing author. I can't wait!

Brilliant Novella.
The woman of the Devine "family" are just as fierce as the guys.
Carrie is just amazing. I think she is my favourite of the girls so far. What you see is what you get and she's not going to let anyone beat her down no matter what side of the law their on. It's was great to read more about Adam, his life and background before meeting Jake.
I am really enjoying this new series and excited to move onto Conviction an digging deeper into the lives of everyone in the Devine Corporation

Yet another amazing read from D H Sidebottom. Loyalty is a short novella that runs alongside the Devine series . We get to know more about the sexy right hand man of Jake Devine Adam and his childhood sweetheart Carrie there ups and downs and secrets that will break them and restore them . This has humour love and passion all of which we have come to expect and love off D H Sidebottom and she again didn't disappoint.
This is brilliant addition and I personally can't wait for more in this series.

Fanbloodytastic !!!! I loved this Novella - as I knew I would !! U can't beat dawns books the way her mind works the characters, is out of this world!!! Jake is still my number one but damn Adam comes in a very close second!!! She keeps you gripped till the very end!!! I can't wait for book 3!!! Another brilliant series !!! Thank you Mrs Sidebottom!!

What a fantastic novella to add to the Devine Series by DH.Sidebottom yet again DH has done good, even as a novella it had so much in it yep yet again I at times was sitting on the edge of my seat wondering where is it going... Brilliant addition to what has to be a brilliant series so far.

What a novella, no one does a strong leading lady quite like D H Sidebottom does!!

This didn't do as much for me as the first two books.
Adam and Carries story was good, just not filled with all the mystery and angst which I like.
It all adds to the complete story though which is on going!

I loved Adam in book 1, he's funny and protective, I hadn't realised what he'd lost but this novella gives you an insight into his hidden pain.
Carrie is a feisty one, comes across all prim and proper then her true colours shine.
Looking forward to the conclusion

Another great book from D.H. I loved this short novella. Focusing on Adam's story we find out what the deal is with him and Carrie, and like i've come to expect there's some twists thrown in to keep me on my toes. If you've read Surrender, then you'll want to read Adam's story.
