Twenty of the most popular interviews from Scott's successful "Lost 45s" radio show have been compiled into an entertaining book featuring such long-lost artists as Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, Sonny Bono, Tony Orlando, Donny, Marie, and Alan Osmond, Helen Reddy, and many others. Photos.
Slight but enjoyable interviews (taking from the author's radio show) with performers and groups who were huge in the '70s, and gone by the '80s. From Rupert Holmes to the Bee Gees to the Osmonds to Barry White, you get a few fun bits of trivia amid the usual boilerplate ("I'm so grateful to my fans for sticking with me through all these years...I really was blessed to have such a good run, and I'm certain that I'll come back some day"). If nothing else, it had me running back to youtube to relive some great tunes from my deep childhood.
