Devils Pride MC #1

Tricking Chase

Rate this book
As Sergeant At Arms for Devils Pride MC, Tyler “Trick” Malone’s take no prisoners reputation make him one of the most feared and respected members of the club. Unbeknownst to the MC, Trick indulges his most dangerous secret, traveling out of state twice a year to trade his cut for the whip he expertly wields at a gay dungeon.

Trick’s well organized life takes a turn when he saves bar back, and terrified submissive, Chase Ward in a Georgia dungeon. With his protector and dungeon owner dead, Chase is no longer safe in the place he once called home. With the new dungeon owners circling like sharks, he desperately begs for sanctuary in the arms of his savior.

A year later the MC is still none the wiser that Trick’s houseboy is anything more than a grateful servant. Chase knows if the club finds out they will kill Trick, the man he’s come to rely on for everything from the food he eats to the pleasure he feels to the security he craves. Even when gratitude turns to love, Chase never expects reciprocation from his ruthless Master. After all, the only way for them both to survive is if Trick remains the heartless bastard the MC knows.

Trick is positive he has it under control and having Chase around has definitely made his life easier. There doesn’t seem to be any harm in letting Chase take a part-time job at Velvet Ropes, especially after meeting privately with the owners. That is until a bomb explodes at the club, leaving Chase fighting for his life and forcing Trick to face his long hidden feelings.

Even if Chase survives, that bomb has done more than rock the foundation of the popular leather club. It’s blown Trick and Chase’s well-guarded secret out of hiding, putting their lifestyle and their lives at risk. Now there is only one thing Trick needs to do before the club gets them and that’s to get revenge on the person who dared to hurt his precious boy.

Authors Note: Tricking Chase is a direct spin-off of The Protector, which is book 3 in my Sizzling Miami series, and not a standalone. There are many characters from the Sizzling Miami series, as well as a big story arc that starts in The Protector.

Warning: Tricking Chase contains an established D/s relationship, hot guys on motorcycles, an undercover DEA agent named Snake and a few visits from fan favorite Sizzling Miami characters.

Like many readers, the dream of being a writer has been with me a long time. After three decades of trying, I'd begun to doubt. Thanks to social media, I followed my favorite authors hoping to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity. Two repetitive themes emerged: To be a great writer you must read a lot and your butt must be in the chair every day like it's a job. The more you write, the easier it will be to write and the better you will be at writing. I took that advice to heart and write every day. With three series in the works and counting, it's been amazing to have made this dream my reality.

I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families, biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout my books.

Whooooaaaaa!!! What a ride!!!!!

This was such an enjoyable read, having me sitting on the edge of my seat all the time, wondering what is going to happen next. I fell in love with brusque and wacky Trick and strong and smart Chase. And such great names, by the way! So cool.

The intricate web of events happening took a chunk out of brain trying to understand it all. I know I should have read 'The Protector' first, but I didn't want to finish a whole other series before I got to this one. And at the end, it wasn't THAT hard to connect the dots here. Yes, I don't know so many major details, but Trick and Chase's story in itself didn't need me to know all those missing things for me to progress forward with them.

The only issue I have is that the blurb was a bit misleading. It rests a lot of importance on the role the MC could play if the truth about Trick and Chase's relationship ever came out, but the MC in itself didn't play much role in it. There were so few scenes with them having much space on a page for me to give them the level of importance that was given to them. Secondly, I took the bomb explosion mentioned in the blurb to have a literal meaning. And even until the end I kept thinking that maybe now a bomb will explode in the club or something! I wish someone had taken the time out to modify the blurb a little bit to not make me think that.

There were quite a few typos too, but I am happy to overlook them because of the delight I got in the last chapter.

An amazing read, and I cannot wait to read Snake's story next! :)

~~ Series Review for a Series Blog Tour ~~

FULL DISCLOSURE: You should really read The Protector before embarking into this new series. I read all three books in this series without doing so and I wasn’t exactly lost, but it IS where you first meet Ty and Chase and their journey really begins, and me being OCD about this kind of thing makes me twitchy LOL (I would have started with Predator, but I had a deadline and couldn’t add a fourth book so …. Anywho, you’ve been advised :)

Tricking Chase: I wasn’t sure at first how much I would enjoy the story itself because I’m not your girl if the BDSM is really heavy in a book but this was a delicious D/s relationship. And not only do we get a very passionate journey, but there’s also an element of suspense I can’t give detail about because … why would you read the story if I told you everything? Lol
But back to the relationship…. The passion that these two had sometimes made me misty-eyed. They adored each other. Ty made for an exemplary Master and Chase was like a butterfly opening up and growing under the guidance of Ty. I don’t know what I expected, but this surpassed it. I read all three of these book in less than two days. I was hooked from the start.

Talk Dirty to Me: You guuuuuuuuuuuuys, the feeeels . It just continues to flow so easily from Tricking Chase! And don’t even get me started on the suspense/drama portion of this series. *blink*
Greg and Snake were ridiculous together. I really felt the love they held for one another thru the prose. And talk about HOT! HOLY HOTBALLS!

Tys That Bind: (THIS IS NOT A STANDALONE) *happy sigh* This was just ..... *happy sigh*

So let me recap these three books by telling you that Jessie G. has some serious talent. She will engage you and invest you in her stories. You will root for her characters and you will be so sucked into the world she creates that time will pass with a fleeting thought from you. I read for hoooooours at a time without blinking or thinking twice about it. Her characters have depth and emotion and will grow through not only their own books but through the series as well. They are a family from beginning to end. I’ve already added the entire Sizzling Miami series to my kindle!

Copies of all three books were provided for blog tour review

I loved it.
I liked how Ty wanted Chase to be an equal. He could have let him stay, just the way he found him. Completely obedient, and afraid to hope for any kindness. But Ty recognized that's not all there was to Chase, and helped him heal.

This isn't your normal type of biker book. Ty wasn't in it for the brotherhood. It worked in this case.

This series is a spin off of another series, that I have not read.
If I had realized this, before I committed to read it, I might not have read it at all.
I'm glad that didn't happen. Sure, I think I would have enjoyed it more, if I knew the other characters from the other book, but it didn't hinder me from enjoying it without that prior knowledge.

There was one portion of the book, that got told in conversation, as relaying what happened. I thought it odd at the time, but now I think it was an overlapping scene from the other book. Maybe not though, since I haven't read it.

Even without the other series, this was a great read. Greatly enjoyed it.

Very pleasantly surprised by this one. I occasionally enjoy the Dom/sub relationship stories, but it's rare that I like one as much as I liked this. The characters are endearing, believable, and likable, the relationship is complex and sweet, and the plot is engaging.

Oh this was good!

I loved this one, a spin off from the Sizzling Miami series and a bit more focussed down on the criminal aspect of the earlier books.

This one spins off with Master Ty and Chase's story and it's a ridiculously hot one with a full time Dom/sub pairing, edging, pain play and a whole load of other deliciousness wrapped up in two complex characters.

There's also a lot of humour in this one, surprisingly given the subject, and it carries a clear message that family is the people we gather round us who will always be there, whether they carry the same blood or not.

There were some cool twists in this one that I hadn't been expecting and now I need to work out whether I read the next one in this or go back to the Sizzle books!

This book is something totally different from what I usually read and I’m surprised I like it. It’s a mix of M/M, Dom/sub, and MC. I normally don’t read BDSM and to be honest, I don’t quite understand a full time D/s lifestyle. Still, the story was interesting and the writing was engaging. I was entertained from start to finish even though there were many parts which completely went over my head like why Chase always introduces Ty as his Master. Ty calling Chase his boy also threw me out of the loop at times but then I realizes that M/F stories always say baby girl anyway. This book may not be for everyone but if you’re open-minded to read any kind of romance, I think it’s really entertaining.

Wish I knew in advance that this could not be read as a stand alone. I found myself lost a couple of times. Characters popped out the woodwork and you can tell they have history with one another or the two MC's but you don't know what it is etc. I'm not sure if it's worth to go back and the series after reading this book though, for all I know this book may contain spoilers which would ruin my enjoyment of the previous stories.

Don't try to read this book as a stand-alone. I was given it in a challenge, and obviously, I haven't read any of the series it ties-in to, and it simply. didn't. work. The author name-drops characters like J.R. Ward does brand names, and we're expected to know their background and relationship to everyone else. Some key events get skipped so there's only the beginning, and then, immediately, aftermath (so anticlimactic!). Some conversations stop making sense in the middle, as if a part of them had never made it from author's brain to paper (well, file). Nothing - nothing! - has happened so far the way the blurb leads you to believe.

Now, I'm assuming that it all would be much clearer if one had read the prequel first. But then there's the really confusing way this author sometimes writes a third person POV, where she almost never mentions the name of the POV character. So we have paragraphs like this:

“He didn’t do anything. I called him three days ago.” Kyle stood in the doorway looking like something the cat wouldn’t even drag in. His normally sparkly blue eyes were deep set and heavily shadowed, and he leaned against the door as if he could barely hold himself up. Beside him Chase gasped softly and he met his boy’s concerned gaze. Kyle had refused to allow them to fly to New York so they could drive with him, and had promised he would leave himself enough time to stop and catch some sleep along the way. Clearly that hadn’t happened and he was lucky he hadn’t killed himself."

I had to re-read it twice before I figured that "him" and "he" in the middle refer not to Kyle but Ty - the man whose POV I'm reading. See - confusing like hell.

And MCs are in the 24/7 D/s relationship that is such a killjoy to me. Their feelings always seem to be half a step behind the BDSM protocol, and phrases like "You're my most precious possession" or "Your wants, needs and pleasure are always my sole focus" really weirded me out here - the way they came off creepy instead of romantic.

Tricking Chase is the first book in Jessie G’s new Devils Pride MC series. It connects directly with the third book in her Sizzling Miami series, The Protector, a book I really enjoyed as well. In that story, we meet Chase and Ty, as Chase is the cousin to Kyle, one of the MCs in that book. Although they are different series, the two books directly tie together, as in The Protector we see another viewpoint on the big strike against Durango. So Tricking Chase overlaps that timeline and we see the strike, as well as the aftermath, from Ty and Chase’s POVs this time. So needless to say, I would strongly suggest reading The Protector first, even if you haven’t read the rest of the Sizzling Miami series so that this book is fleshed out to its fullest potential.

Although it is unusual to link two different series in this way, I actually really liked it and think the author did a great job developing the two books. Although some of the events repeat here, we get an enhancement in this story, rather than just a straight retelling. The strike against Durango has major affects on Ty and Chase, so it is really helpful to get the story from their POV. But from there, this book expands on Ty and Chase’s personal story, showing the connection between the two men, their continued efforts to track down Alicia, and their ultimate growth as they settle into their new future together.

This was a 4 star read for me; with potential for better. The first 25/30% was very hard to follow- you really needed to read Book 3 of the first series. Now that frustrated me because this was Book 1 from a new series. Normally you should be able to pick up quickly but there were way too many side characters from the first series and the storyline was a bit complicated to say the least. What kept me going was I really did like the 2 lead characters, Ty and Chase. Once I figured what the heck was going on (honestly I really did have a hard time keeping all the plot lines straight)I enjoyed this and the writing is good! Ty and Chase have the Master/submissive thing going on and they are very sexy and HOT together. Ty is badass, sarcastic and likable and Chase is so sweet and sexy to his man; I liked all their times together. I also like MC stories as it adds some danger and excitement to the mix. The last 20% was too rushed but that was caused by too much going on that needed to be wrapped up and that left me with less of my 2 guys being together - which bummed me out. Yes they got a HEA but I wanted more:)

An interesting twist on a previous series. It took 35% of the book to meet the events in the last book, but after that, the plot moved better. I like reading about the main story from Ty & Chase's perspective.

Overall, another good book by this author.

Loved this book. I loved the relationship between Chase and Ty. How although he was the sub, Chase was an equal partner in everything with Ty.
A great supporting cast of characters. Hopefully book 2 might be Snakes story with the sexy phone operator in the FBI.

This is the first opportunity that I have had to read a book by Jessie G. Holy crap! I am a sucker for a good m/m as most of my followers know, but throw in a D/s relationship and some MC and I am one happy girl. I love Jessie's writing style and although I went into this series without reading The Protector, I was able to get a pretty good idea about the characters going into Tricking Chase.

Chase Ward has had a rough life and is in for an even rougher one until Ty "Trick" Malone rescues him and takes him into his world. As the Sergeant At Arms for the Devil's Pride MC, Trick has a lot on his shoulders. Now that he has take Chase in, not just to keep him safe, but as his own, he has to be even more careful with all his club dealings. Chase wears Trick's collar proudly, and wants more than anything to please Trick in every way possible, be it in the bedroom or in their daily lives. Trick wants to help heal Chase and show him that they are more than just the D/s behind closed doors. Trick wants nothing more than to keep Chase safe, to heal him and show him that they are equals. Something he has worked hard to show him.

I loved how caring and protective Trick was of Chase. The fact that their D/s relationship was not what I expected made it even better. Trick was swoon worthy in my opinion. The fact that he wanted to help heal this broken young man and make him his without crushing who he really was, was awesome. When the past comes back and threatens them, can Trick step up and save them both or will the foundation that he has helped to build for their lives together come crashing down around them?

If you are a sucker for a good M/M book, with some D/s and MC thrown in, then you need to grab a copy of Tricking Chase and get started on this gritty, wild, sexy, adventurous, ride that is the story of how Trick and Chase came to be and the lengths that they are willing to go to, to stay together.

This was a great start to this spin-off series. Ty is a badass, take no prisoners and makes no apologies kind of guy. He saves a terrified sub (Chase) from a dungeon and to protect him takes him home with him. This unlikely pair somehow make it work. Ty is over the top protective of Chase and even though he is his sub, he gives him his independence. Chase is over the moon in love with Ty.
There is a lot more to this instalment to keep you riveted. Read it.

Absolutely brilliant. I don't know if I can do justice to this story, TC was freaking amazing. Can't get the smile off my face and the happy out of my heart.

Power dynamic relationships are not usually a favorite trope for me, but after reading the beauty and honesty of The Sizzling Miami series and now this book I see the how and adore this world JG has created all the more.

The alternating chapters worked well. Who knew Ty would be such a softie or that the confidence and strength that Chase develops would help to further a story that is so much more than it would appear? Loved getting all of the characters back together.

The sense of family (the other "f" word), even with all of the mushy bits, was tender, sweet, and funny-not what one would expect from a BDSM biker book, eh? But it is exactly what I expect and appreciate about JG's books. It came across as real and relatable, and even when the situation was awkward or uncomfortable I was so invested in the two of them that I was able to appreciate them all the more. To be a part of their circle, to love and be loved by them would be a beautiful thing.

I don't know if it was because of the overlap with The Protector or if it's because of such a long break between it and this read, but I had an extremely hard time getting into this book and I never really did. Which really sucks because I LOVE Chase. And I like the dynamic he has with Ty. I was confused with who was who and how they know each other for quite a bit, even with having read all the other books. I struggled with the mystery part too, there was LOT happening and I just couldn't get into it enough to pay close enough attention. Happy with the ending, kind of. I don't know, I'm just in a weird mood or this was a weird read.

Whilst this is book 1 in the series I would definitely recommend that you read Jessies sizzling in Miami books before this as there is quite a lot of crossover from those books. The story is gripping and exciting. The mcs Ty and chase are absolutely breathtaking together. Every scene they are in whether its a sex scene (smoking hot) or just a conversation you can feel the love and the passion and the complete devotion they have for each other oozing off the pages. The ending had me crying happy tears and as with all this authors books I just didnt want it to end. Cant wait for the next book!!

I loved this book. A Spin-Off to the Sizzling Miami Series, But totally worth even reading on its own.

Chase and Ty have the best relationship. It's definitely unconventional, but so totally perfect for them. You can just see the LOVE and unwavering trust the two men have for each other radiating off the pages of this book. The writing & Story line were written well. I was thrilled with how Chase's story played out and Ty is such an awesome character you cant help but love these guys and appreciate the relationship they have with each other. 5 Stars cause I can't give more.

I loved this tale cover to cover. This is a new author for me and I enjoyed my first read by them and the series that followed.

I loved the characters that were fun and engaging. This was a different kind of MC romance as the main characters Chase and Ty living a bdsm lifestyle with Chase being the submissive and Ty the master along with running a MC Club.Ty is not your average MC member as he infiltrated the club and became a member for personal reasons.Although he likes its members it is not the life he wants to lead or plans to stay in.Once he gets the info on his missing sister he is gone.

I loved the relationship between Chase and Ty they had a loving a caring relationship each were what the other needed to keep each other on even keel.Chase needed a routine and the control that came with the kind of relationship Ty provided for them. Whether it was rewards or punishments he needed it was Ty's job to provide those things.Ty made me smile more than once throughout the story when he would get all serious and choked up when talking about their mushy feelings. To cute you could just imagine him blushing every time he expressed those feelings.Their was major chemistry between them that made for some very hot and interesting sexual interludes.I loved them both from the onset.

Although the story concentrated on daily ins and outs of the MC club and the danger and drama that comes with whatever their into there was so much more going on behind the scenes. Ty and Snake living a double life after the same things yet Ty's priority is to find his sister.

An intense read from beginning to end.A story filled with lasting friendships, danger, love romance, secrets coming to life, disappointments ,suspense , infused with erotic romance. The author made it so that Ty lifestyle was separate and a secret from who and what he was to the club.Ty always felt more comfortable with his friends that lived the lifestyle he and Chase did .I never saw him become overly friendly with any of its members he may have liked some of them and perhaps respected a few but when he walked away I felt like he would not continue a relationship with any of them. You felt the constant struggles he had keeping his personal life separate from his MC life not that he cared if they new he was into kink it was all about Chase's safety . Ty is not someone you want to tangle with ,he is one scary dude!I don't even have to imagine what he would do to someone who harmed Chase but, it won't be pretty.

This story was so full of many surprises and omg moments especially when finds out the truth concerning his sister. What a page turner could not put it down.As soon as the story was over I was right into the next book.

Recommended read to all MC Romance readers and those who don't mind a romance that its characters that are two males striving for the happily ever after.

This goes into the keeper pile .I will be defiantly re-reading this series again as Ty and Chases ended up being another favorite couple of mine for 2017.

I know I'm being ambitious for trying to read this one without reading the previous book from Sizzling Miami series. For a book that is label as Book 1 of Devils Pride MC, it might be a tad misleading. I feel like a headless chicken trying to understand what is going on and why is everything happening behind the scene. Alas, I realized a lot of the action actually took place in The Protector, which many of the reviewers are talking about. But I'm too lazy to read another book before starting this one.

Anyway, I still very much enjoyed the relationship between the heroes in this book, Ty and Chase. They have a very interesting dynamic of D/s, but is not the cookie cutter type that I read before. Ty is the Dom and he is so in tune with everything that Chase's need. He treats Chase as his precious boy, giving him pain, pleasure, dominance and order in life that he crave. Chase isn't your average boy toy either, beside of his OCD tendency and loves being bound and whip, he is own man out of the bedroom. Together they are partners, Ty see Chase as his equal and they need each other in their quest of leaving the troublesome MC life behind.

Although both men are together since the beginning, is still fascinate me to see their relationship develop further throughout this book and when Chase got hurt, Ty's protective instinct increase ten fold and is a joy to see these two men finally admit the feelings that they had for each other.

I'm not going to delve much on the suspense and shop talk because it just confused me. I get the basic gist, but never felt very invested into the outcome. The part that I enjoy is the familiarization with Snake, the undercover DEA and his phone sex operator. Saul, Javier and Kyle sounds they are having an interesting three-way relationship. Even Clay, Evan and Tory are a nice bunch. Overall, the supporting characters and the romance is great.

Tricking Chase is the first book in Jessie G's spin off MC series. Although considered stand alone, I think the reader would appreciate this story even more by having read all the books in the Sizzling Miami series, first.

One of the things I loved about this book is that it didn't just cross over characters, but time and place as well. That is such a challenging thing for an author to do, to have the same event in two different books from more than one POV. Props to Jessie for this. She wrote that so well for this book as well as The Protector. Keeping everything from a couple dozen characters to the timing of when events happened, and crossing them between books makes it more engaging to the long term reader.

Another great aspect of this book, is that Jessie knew to add a glossary of sorts at the beginning, for those that are not familiar with the real life lingo of motorcycle clubs. It helped immensely with the reading, as you weren't pulled out of the story by trying to guess what a "cut" or "church" were.

Chase and Ty "Trick" were introduced in the Sizzling Miami series, but with their story you were able to see what drove these men. Chase with no real family, and a previous Dom who was neglectful needed structure and someone who could appreciate his loving nature. Meanwhile, though Ty had a purposeful goal with being in the MC, he could not deny his need for Chase. A match made to last.

These two interacted so well as a couple. Focusing their lives on each other, and how to find Ty's sister, they connected with people, coming to need their assistance, as much as their companionship. Ty, not wanting any of the "F" words, such as family and friends began to connect to those around him, not just Chase, helping the reader to see inside him so much more. He wasn't just about keeping Chase safe, and finding his sister, but also found himself helping where he was needed, despite wanting to keep out of it. I will admit that sometimes my mind had to stop and take assessment of where everyone was at, and what was going on, since it is all a very complex timeline.

Ty and Chase found the right place for their own love, and it really shone through in the writing by Jessie. They didn't need to follow the "correct" BDSM rules. Chase called Ty by his name outside the bedroom, and was able to voice his needs and wants with clarity. Ty meanwhile respected Chase's opinions and gut reactions in the situations they were in. Their relationship was not what is typically portrayed as a BDSM relationship in books. It was their own relationship, one they created, and they maintained in the way that was best for them. I loved that! It showed such respect for the characters and where they were in their lives. On top of it, Ty's respect for Chase's eyes and how others reacted to them, it was just so touching!

Of course, these two men work their tails off for their happy ending, and I will say it was a surprise ending for those two characters. They were blown away by how their world was about to change,

Getting to catch up with the characters from Sizzling Miami was fantastic. We saw the progress of Javier in his new triad relationship, and get to look forward to further updates on Saul, Kyle and Javi, as well as a second book.

I'm looking forward to Snake's book next year...which you can see below is with "Top Secret" (evil eye to Jessie), but next up is the book for the four men of the halfway house. That should be an interesting story to find out what drives these men.

Jessie has created a complete world for all these men, from locations, to secondary characters to her villians. And I am enjoying stepping into it for the times that she has given us to read about. Looking forward to so much more. See below for all her books, past, present and future.

Let me get my disclaimers out of the way first. I am not a fan of BDSM books – primarily because I just don’t understand that lifestyle, especially the need for pain. I’ll read them and have read them, but it is rare for me to love them. I also am not a fan of MC books – as I’ve found I don’t like the violence and lack of morals in the few MC books I have struggled through. I loved this book.

The MC club has taken a path down which I do not like or support. I was truly dreading what was going to happen with it knowing that I didn’t like any of the MC books I’ve previously read. What Jessie G did with these guys and this club just makes you love them even more – especially Trick. Through the way Trick handles things in the club you truly see what a great man he is.

Trick and Chase have a D/s relationship. Chase needs the pain. Yes, there is one scene in this book that demonstrates that. No, this book does not focus on that. Its focus is on the emotional aspect of their relationship and let me tell you, it’s powerful. The opening scene was…wow – I had to stop for a minute before continuing with the story after reading the prologue. While I really don’t like the Master title and the ‘servant’ mentality, what it means to these men in their relationship was beautiful to read.

My favorite thing about Chase is his absolute, bone-deep undying love and loyalty to Trick. You can’t not love Chase in every way. His vulnerability is as endearing as his strength is inspiring. And Trick…Trick is entertaining for sure – he made me giggle A LOT in this book. But he’s also very serious, mostly about Chase. I don’t want to give any spoilers but when he finally verbalizes how he feels, it almost brought me to my knees, never mind Chase. These men together are simply amazing and their love story is powerful.

The secondary characters were pretty great. We get more of Tory, Evan and Clay and I seriously can’t wait for their story. I fell a little bit in love with Tory. We get more of Snake…which at first was confusing because I did NOT like him at the beginning of this book but I knew he was a good guy in The Protector. He has potential but the jury is still out until we get his book. His ‘not’ love interest is pretty great (as is Trick’s nickname for him).

Most of our favorite characters make an appearance in this book – some more than others. I really liked getting Trick’s thoughts on Saul and Javi’s relationship. Ric was a big player in this story and if you didn’t love him before, you will now.

Note: this is not a standalone book. You really need to read the 3 Sizzling Miami books to fully get this story and all of the characters in it.

The writing was great again. I can’t wait to read more from Jessie in both this series and the Sizzling Miami series. I’m going to leave you with this quote from Trick because it made me giggle…out loud…a lot.
"So Fancy Pants, Little Juan and the Sexy Hulk would be fine."

I also want to mention that I will be hosting a group chat about this book on May 27. You can join us here: https://www.facebook.com/events/15890....

Great new series

I loved this spin off of the Sizzling Miami series! Getting to see some of the events and people from that from Ty and Chase's perspectives was enjoyable and often funny.

This book worked well as a stand alone, and beginning of the Devil's Pride series, but it was definitely enhanced if you've already read Sizzling Miami.

My Rating: 5 of 5 Stars

Before I go on to the review, let me just say, I inhaled this book in just two hours. And I was in bed, my pet and hubby snoring away, and I just inhaled this. Dreamed this too. So yeah, I am busted!

Trick has been lurking in the sidelines for a while now. Those who have read the other books by this awesome bloggermomma author should know him. He is bad ass, he is the SAT of the MC Devil's Pride and he is a dom. A master of strategy, of weapons and of someone hinted at. Now we have Tricking Chase and we get the name stamped in our minds and we can connect. Remember in The Protector (Sizzling Miami #3) where someone got royally hurt? Well, that was Trick's boy, Chase. (Note: Those of you who have not read this author, get a hold on her. You won't regret it. Promise.)

In this installment, we get the chance to go back to a little bit of history. How Chase got to be Trick's boy, how Trick tricked himself into having Chase, and how both Chase and Trick got to merge themselves in the world of the MC without getting caught. Why caught? Well, they were hiding in full view of everyone, but as Trick is Trick, well, no one wanted to see what was right in front of them.

In this installment, we get the chance to see the men of the Sizzling Miami series and find out just how they get to be such great friends and lend a helping hand to main MCs. We also get the chance to find out how it all ends with Trick's witchy sister who surprised everyone with her presence in the third book. In short, this book ties up all the loose ends and there are many twists to the surprises going on here.

There is action, there is erotica and for BDSM lovers or wannabe's? There is a lot of it that just sizzles. HOT! For the story itself, as I said, mucho mucho revelations I cannot risk to spoil so go read.

Now, for the read itself? Well folks, hello! This is a Jessie G. book, need you ask? Go for it and if you missed the rest? Go for it!

Actual 4.5 Star Rating

Tricking Chase (Devils Pride MC-Book 1) by Jessie G!!!

***Tricking Chase is a spin-off of The Protector-Book 3 (Sizzling Miami Series)

Tyler Malone aka Trick is one of the most feared and renowned member of Devils Pride MC. Trick has a very well constructed life but this all changes when he saves the terrified submissive, Chase Ward in a dungeon. Now that Chases owner is dead, he's not safe by any means with the vultures hovering around him trying to take Chase as their own so he has no choice but to seek the protection from the man who saved him-Trick.

In this installment we get to find out how Chase became Tricks boy, how Trick got Chase for himself and how both men entered the world of MC without getting killed. I loved the connection between Trick and Chase and how much Trick loved and would do anything to keep Chase safe, it was some beautiful writing.

I was so thankful to Jessie for adding a great and detailed glossary of the motorcycle clubs as it helped while reading the novel. I so enjoyed the writing style of this novel as it was different from other novels. Their was quite a few characters but Jessie wrote in such a way the story flowed very smoothly.

I can't describe enough how much this story affected me and the character of Chase and what he endured, just made me want to protect him. He's a beautiful man with a beautiful heart and soul and is so damaged from his past that it will completely break your heart.

The way Jessie brings her characters to life is just simply brilliant and how she comes up with these emotionally charged characters is quite amazing. There are some heavy emotional moments in this story that will move you beyond the tears. The hot and I mean hot sex scenes were some of the best I have ever read. I just loved the writing from Jessie and I think she has even topped herself with her latest work. The way she creates such emotional characters is so beautifully done. I highly recommend...Tricking Chase to Everyone!!!
