Rebecca Larson is a busy woman. Between her nursing job and training for a Spartan Race, she doesn’t have time for a social life. A weekend hiking trip with her girlfriend is strictly for the purpose of getting the high-altitude workout under her belt.
Griffen Masters is not pleased his sister is bringing a friend on their annual siblings-only hike. And to make matters worse, the woman is human. She’ll never be able to keep up. However, the moment she arrives, his world tilts—she is his mate.
As if Griffen doesn’t have enough problems wooing his mate and trying to keep his hands to himself for the weekend, a mysterious force causes him to need medical attention at the peak of the mountain.
Miles Bartel is a long-time friend of Griffen and a vet. An added shock—Miles is also destined to mate with Rebecca. But the questions are piling up. What happened to Griffen in the first place? And how much light can Miles’ grandmother, a medicine woman, shed on the situation?
The mating is inevitable and urgent. Everything else will have to wait. But strange events occur nearly every day, keeping all three on their toes. And answers are not forthcoming. If something doesn’t give soon, frayed nerves will start to affect their relationship.

I like this second series even more than the first. It's got a more involved story-line - almost a crime romance.
Yes at its core it is a multi-partner series M/F/M - the guys share the woman, not each other - and they all kick off with the obvious 'meet your mates' in the first chapter. But actually that is not a bad thing as you know it's going to happen anyway. It allows the getting-to-know-you and romance aspect of the story to unfold in a way that is not in many other romance books - 'cause they all end at the 'happily ever after' - and it takes a look at how we really build and maintain our relationships. But of course it's still a romance with yummy men!!!
And it is multi-cultural with some of the books raising the problems encountered in cross-cultural relationships. Which for some reason people still encounter :(
If you can get over the multi-partner, or paranormal aspect of this series, they are a great read. For me I love all of that so there's no getting over anything :)
I really liked this book. It is definitely the best in the series so far. Becca Jameson put a lot more detail into this one and spaced out the plot before Rebecca met both of her mates more which I appreciated. She also focused more on an actual plot line than she usually does. The negative to that though, was that the romantic plot line was kind of taken away from I felt. The sex scenes did improve and you can definitely tell that Becca has grown in her writing. The scenes throughout the book were more thought out. I can't wait to read the next one following Melinda!
A romance with a real plot. How wonderful. A woman. A man. Another man. But at that point the story gets interesting. Are they surrounded by hostile spirits, angry coworkers, unhappy family or all of the above. You'll enjoy the journey to find out.
Cool story. It’s my first for the series. So we meet Rebecca a human who is friends with Sharon who is a wolf shifter (but Rebecca doesn’t know). They are going on a hike adventure that Sharon and her 4 brothers usually go on alone. That’s where Rebecca meets griffin Sharon’s older brother. It’s instant attraction. He realizes she is his mate. Of course they keep cool because of Sharon. And then he is injured and they need miles, griffins best friend/wolf shifter/ vet to come and help. And they learn about him being her mate as well. Lots of ups and downs. Learning to adjust to two new people in her life who care and protect her. Sometimes smother from worry but I’m good reason. I didn’t like the moment she hid things from them like the apartment and the emails. Those were pertinent info about what was going on and her safety. I understood why she didn’t but it’s wasn’t cool. Can’t believe the ending lol. Her delaying and then Melinda with grace and Keegan.
Rebecca is a nurse and has been training hard for a difficult race. She decides to go with her girlfriend whose brothers are not happy their sister is bringing Rebecca along and to make matters worse, Rebecca is human. However, the moment she arrives, Griffen’s world tilts...Rebecca is his mate. Griffin is injured on the difficult climb in the mountains and needs medical attention. The other brothers who are also on this climb return to a location to call for help. Miles is a friend of Griffen and is also a vet. An added shock to both Miles and Griffen is that Miles mate is also Rebecca. How do they tell her she’s their mate and that they are Wolf shifters. This is The Very Basic Beginning to a Suspenseful Romantic Mystery Thriller I could not put down. I loved this story....some interesting twists.....super great plot, with wonderfully engaging characters. I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review.
Rebecca is a busy woman, she’s a nurse and training for the Spartan Race. She joins her friend on a hike that will help her ready herself for the race. Griffin is a wolf shifter and can’t believe his sister invited someone on their family hike. A human no less. But as soon as he gets a whiff of her, he knows she’s his mate. When he is injured, his brothers go for help, which happens to be a friend and a vet. Miles is Native American and a veterinarian plus a wolf shifter and it seems Rebecca is his mate too. Now forces are pushing them to mate immediately and someone is terrorizing Rebecca. Can they figure out what’s going on and get on with their lives?
Ménage, shifters, and spirits. Excellent story with suspense and sex. It can be read alone with no cliffhanger.
I've had this entire series for a long time and read them multiple times. I decided to go back and reread them, but I think I should have left these in my memories.
I didn't like it as much as the first time reading it. I think I've read a lot since then, so what seemed good then, isn't as good as what I'm reading now.
I like the world building with the shifters/fated mates. The stories do tend to get repetitive and the spicy scenes start to blend together. I like the characters and the telepathy between mates. I wished there was more of it.
Overall, it's a good story, but on further review it's just alright.
What happens when a human nurse unexpectedly meets not one but two men who will change her life forever? In the begging I understood why Rebecca was so against everything. This wasn't the norm for her. However, once she accepted the inevitable, I hoped that she would keep acting like she was to stupid to live by not telling Griffen and Miles what was bothering the without outside intervention. After that all was settled though, this was a very good read. Not rushed at the ending and full resolution. On to the next one.
Let me start my saying that the cover is a dead giveaway as to the content of this book. That said, it was free and I was curious. So, as to the writing, Becca Jameson is a good writer, which is a plus. Also, I liked the story and mystery surrounding Rebecca's Wolves, which has a sweet ending. Sadly, that is where my praises end. I can only say that this book is for those who really like three-way sex that is repeated over and over again, as well as tons of vulgar language.
Excellent story arc, full dimensioned characters, hot steamy sex ménage of 2 men mating w/ 1 woman all make for a great read. This was a full bodied book in that it was a love story but also about family, life challenges & a bizarre twist that was unexpected. There are Native American medicine women, one of whom leads into the next book in the series.
This was my first M/F/M book by Becca Jameson and my first in the Wolf Masters series. It was smoking hot! I will definitely go back and read the first 5 even though this is a standalone and you don't need to have read the first ones to enjoy this one. It also had a great mystery to solve. Highly recommend her writing!
2.5 stars Standard shifter PNR menage. Lots of sex interspersed with some story. As always I would have preferred more story and less sex but that is just me. Also I would have preferred a straight PNR as I liked Griffen and the interaction between him and Rebecca particularly when they first met and was just annoyed by Miles who seemed to take over.
They were actual fleshed out people. The mating frenzy isn't interesting to me. Especially when I have more variety with one partner than she has with two. The bondage aspect was something better left to the experts and the threat was par for the course. A typical example of the genre but not a standard to shoot for.
I like the twists that this story had. I figured with Griffin being the oldest he would have the strongest it seems Miles was. Rebecca sure has her hands full with both of these guys. I am even more shocked that the elders would turn on anyone in their clan. That is how the old bigots show they want to control everyone. Move with the times. Thank you I enjoyed this story.
This book is about a menage but also the aspects of unconditional love. The guys/wolves cherish Rebecca and care for her in a dominating but loving way. One odd aspect is the guys always cook her meals. Interesting.
I love this book because it kept you interested in it. You wanted to keep turning the page. You have two mates and that something wants them to stay together and someone wants them apart
Okay ya all. Be prepared. This book will hook you from page one. Nothing like two hot men. And one woman who has no clue. A little drama. And whole lot of loving. Umm use your imagination. Happy reading
LOVE Shifters, Fated Mates and I LOVE a good Menage, ( but only a good M/F/M menage m/m just isn't my thing) ( those aren't the Monkeys I want in my circus) ( for me a goodM/F/M is a fantasy I'd LOVE to live for real and real or fantasy I wouldn't share my men with each other or others) if their Mine! Then their Mine! And I DON'T SHARE) ,but that wasn't my problem here, I just felt to rushed, TOO forced, she felt too stupid and clueless and spineless and then all the mysticism thrown in on top of it all was just a bit too much..... Deeply clueless Rebecca is just pushed along to have sex and alter her life because two sexy guys say so and honestly her protests seem token at best,I barely got past their 1st night together before I had to stop... I just didn't feel right ... I want a h to be there because there is NOWHERE else she wants to be not because the two really pushy alpha males don't / won't take no for an answer and between her hormones and her vagina " she just can't say No!" BS!!!! Where's the build up,the chemistry, the slow burn ???? Where's the fun in a WEAK WILLED woman and to Wally pushy men ? Getting together in such a short time ? She's barely know either a full 24 hours each ( one spending most of his as a wolf doesn't count) ,barely explain or digest anything) then its let's all rush to have sex and mate... BULLS***! It's just sex for sex sake and let's try and build a "story" around it to justify putting the relationship on fast forward ..... I loved the first 3 stories back when I read them a year or so Ago, #4 was so/so but the covers were colorful and beautiful and cheery ,now their dull, drab dark and dreary..... I recommend the first three games or four good interesting stores that build the relationship right... This ? This you can keep! Off to get refunds....
Rebecca had no idea there is a secret world of shifters and she lives in it. Training for her Spartan Race, she tags along with her best friend Sharon and her four older brothers to climb a high altitude, Rocky Mountain. But when she meets everyone, there is an instant connection to Griffin, the oldest. But when he gets hurt, Rebecca finds out the truth about this family and meets Miles, one of Griffin’s good friends.
And there’s an instant connection there too. Miles spends the night to help patch Griffin up, who has shifted into his wolf form. But when the get back to a town, the have to find a way to tell Rebecca she’s their mate.
Add it a sister and grandmother who can see the future, someone out to get them and spiritual forces and Rebecca has no idea where her life is taking her or what to believe. But she does love her men.
This trio gets a happy for now ending that ends very abruptly and leaves the reader wondering if they are having a boy or girl, due hours from the end of the book.
