Grover he so furry, so loveable, you are sure to love reading about him as he cares for a baby. Oh and don't forget how much fun it is impersonating Grover.
This is a Little Golden Book from Sesame Street published in 1987, featuring the character Grover. Upon encountering Marsha and her infant brother Max, Grover expresses a desire to have a baby of his own to care for. As he walks home, he envisions various activities he could engage in with the baby, such as allowing it to play with his toys, participating in Super Grover adventures with the structures they create together, and even learning to sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider in unison. Grover fantasizes about assisting his mother in giving the baby a bath or feeding it, while she reads them both stories from Monster Goose. Upon arriving home, he discovers that his Aunt Betsy and Uncle Ralph are bringing his baby cousin Emily to visit, providing him with the opportunity to genuinely assist in caring for the baby.
This is such a good book simply because it discusses the importance of taking care of a baby and many students will have a younger sibling or cousin that their parents may need help taking care of.
