Side Effects of Loving You
Drew has loved Aamil since the moment she was forced to live with him because of her reckless decisions. They started a forbidden love that was frowned upon and as a result of that a life was created. Flash forward two years and things have changed. Drew is now a mother to Aamil's child while Aamil is adjusting to being home from prison and learning he has a daughter. Aamil wants to move on with Drew and his child. He is now running his family's lucrative drug business while also trying to pursue a life with Drew. Drew has secrets that can keep her from her happily ever after with Aamil. Her biggest one being Kadar.
Kadar is anxious to build a relationship with his brothers while also being with Drew. Only Drew leaves him the minute Aamil is released and Kadar is forced to pick up the pieces all while still actively seeing Olivia.
The result of loving the people that has their hearts have them fighting hard to hold onto the love that they don't want to let go. Crazy couple alert
I tell you Dominique don't disappoint. Once again she penned a book that held your attention and left you wanting more. If you've been following the Matin brothers then you know that these stories are truly captivating. This book sheds light on Drew and Aamil crazy emotional rollercoaster ride of a relationship. Honestly both of them,are crazy and went above and beyond to piss each other off. I personally don't care for Drew but I am glad that she's making a effort to be better even though she's a big liar. Aamil made me laugh with his crazy antics. Sophie is about the at life lmao. Nina has truly worked a nerve in this book. She's truly delusional and desperate. Raynard is bona fide crazy. Nina mom upset me too. The book has a great cliff hanger and I can't wait for part two. The were a couple of editing errors but other then that, great read. I'll continue to support & promote Dominique work and continue to get ppl to give her books chance.

Ish just got real!!!!!
Mrs Dominique, you have did it again. Drew, Sophie, Erin and them Matin boys are back, and this time we get to hear Drew's story. This book starts off with a bang, that never settles down. Drew has been keeping a whole lot to herself, will everything she wanted be hanging by a thread or pretty much destroyed when it all comes to a head? Secrets and lies are revealed, with whole new beefs brewing. Just know that drama always seems to follow this family, even when they think that its all died down, it's always someone in the midst ready to start some trouble.
I am loving those books involving Sophie and her sisters, and Ameer and his brothers. I have a better understanding of Drew after reading this, but she still pisses me off to the max. She still has a lot more growing up to do, and she is doing it slowly, only time will tell. I did love that her and her sisters seem to be getting closer and trying to get past those old skeletons in their closet.
I already knew this was go be a banger, and by the time I got to the end, (man, that ending) I was happy it met my expectations and more. This book is a must read. Definitely check this out and her other works if you haven't already. Great job once again, now I'm patiently awaiting part 2!!!

Still not feeling Drew but she did seem to grow up a little, not enough for her to really be over Kadar but enough to move the story along. I’m not convinced for a second that the guys nor Mason has any real power seeing how they keep taking L’s with every problem they have. Good thing is I still don’t know who has her based off the prologue, I’m hoping it’s someone that can really force the guys to work.
Mason was the only one that pointed out how sloppy they were and how they had all these people but were still putting in work. Hopefully they’ll all retire from the game because that’s clearly not where they need to be. The next one should be interesting even if it’s just to see who ends up with Mina’s kids.

Aamil was being so petty. I understood he felt some type of way about Drew not keeping it real with him but he could've handled things much differently. I didn't agree with how Drew wanted to hold on to the one she loved but a lot could've been avoided. Kadar was cool and I was hoping he'd leave well enough alone considering how Aamil was always acting. I swear Mina needed to get a life, right along with her ratchet momma. They were only mad because they knew their cash flow was coming to an end. I actually like Olivia even though her and Drew seemed to have so much animosity towards each other. I really need Raynard to die because he's so extra. Man damn Aamil has messed up and should've continued ignoring Mina. I can't wait to read part 2 and see how things work out and if the side effects of loving one are even worth it in the end.

Aamil is so childish but I love the way he loves Drew. Aftering finding out about Drew past affair Aamil did everything thing he could to break her down and it backfired. Aamil has to deal with old drama from someone who did a bid for him and she takes it to a new level of being simple.Therefore leaving the sisters to kicking but and cashing checks while still taking care of their kids. The Matin crew has a new headache extending from new character Olivia old life. Olivia however is no to just get over on, her "party planning" is making, but is it enough. Drama follows this crew relentlessly, while some come out safe others are not so certain. With each book your left with a jaw dropping ending...I'm off to book 2.

Aamil and drew storyline was freaking great. Th drama with these two is something else. Drew lieing about her relationship with kadar causes major conflict with the matin brothers. Aamil stepping up as the leader now can't seem to get right so mason comes to show him how it's done. Kadar and Olivia are official,even with doubts of his love for drew. Sophie,Erin,and drew are getting along better with counseling. Mina needs to be handled,aamil playing games with her. Aamil now at war with raynard,oliva ex has his hands full and then s.h.i.t hits the fan.

So good
I love this series and all the relationships I just wish this book was longer and didn't have a part two but I still love this author writing style. I will be recommend this book to others you will love it but you have to read "Hold you down" series first to better understand the characters and their past or you will be lost trying to figure them out. Good Job on this one don't make us wait to long for the next one please I'm anxious wondering who has Drew and what's gonna happen to Amil since he got trapped in that house with a dead body at the end.

All.Good!!
I am quite speechless about this addition to an exceptional series.This story of Drew and Aamil is.by far the best.This is such a well told story,that some how gets it right.This is not only a love story,but one of healing.There are moments in this story that is so hilarious you are splitting a guy.I love the fact this story about this family is always about family.I love that you have men in this story grow into being men and loyal to the ones they love.This is an on The edge of your seat gangster.

Speechless
This author has done it again by leaving me with my mouth wide open. Omg this book was so good I could not put it down for nothing. I can't wait for the next installment to find out what the crew is up to and how they are going to get out of this mess. I hope all my favorite couples make it out on top. I know Mina got got something to do with everything that's going down too I really don't like her. Please hurry with the next part I am patiently waiting.

Cliff hanger again
Just when it was getting juicy it ended. I was saying finally drew was getting it together than this happens. Please hurry with part 2. I love reading but these cliffhanger endings are driving me nuts. This book just picks up from hold you down series. Please release part two tomorrow.

ITS GOOD TO HAVE AAMIL HOME WITH HIS FAMILY. GLAD THAT SOPHIE, ERIN & DREW DECEIDED TO GO TO COUNSELING WHICH MADE THEM ALL CLOSER. This is a great read. Drew and Aamil are my book couple of the day. Things are going well with them and their child. Aamils business is going well, but of course things start to change as secrets start to be revealed. Can Aamil deal with Drews secrets or does he choose to move on to someone that he can trust to be down with him? You have to read to see.

The craziest brother!!!!
Aamil is crazy than the rest of his brothers. Drew has matured but has a long way to go. It was good to hear her speak on the abuse that she suffered by the hands of Johnny and her father. The sisters ended up getting along to. Now on to part 2 since Drew has been kidnapped.

I don't know what is going on, but I'm all confused because it's says this book was released sometime this month, which means it's new, so why did it seems like I reed this book already. It just don't make any sense, anyway I loved the book and can't wait to read book 2.

I loved it!!!!
I read this book in one day. It was that good. Some of it was a little redundant and I noticed typos, but it was so good that I was able to overlook it. I could not put it down.

Oh wow
This is my second time reading a book by this author. This is the best one yet. I can't believe they where caught slipping like that. I can't believe Olivia didn't tell what was going on, knowing what happened last time. Can't wait for part 2

All I can say is that Dominique Thomas did her thang. I hate series and it became aggravating with the backwards and forward with the characters, but I'm anticipating the next book in this series. That ending left me in suspense.

This book was really entertaining and I blew through it, but the lack of editing is why I didn't give it a higher rating. I want to be able to fly through the pages the way I want, without stumbling and re-reading because of improper formatting or grammar.

Okay read
The book was okay I did feel like some of the events was happening way to fast and enough information wasn't explained all the way . It had some very good parts as well . The last couple of pages really kicked off and got me wondering what's gone happen .
