The Warrior - The mission's everything. Till it isn't

You are Zeb Carter, a deep black, special ops agent based in New York. You work for a U.S. agency that doesn’t exist. You are in the Democratic Republic of Congo, tracking down a bunch of rogue mercenaries.

Locate. Observe. Record. Do not engage. That’s your mission brief.

And then you disregard your orders and become a hunted man. You have been hunted before, but never like this.

But that’s alright. Because some things are above mission briefs.

The Reluctant Warrior – Keep your enemies close

Broker and his crew are hunting a deeply buried mole in the FBI in New York. In Brooklyn, William Shattner, a garage mechanic, goes missing.

His children make a call to Broker.

Before Broker can make a connection between the two events, he is on the run with a young family in tow. Hunted by a relentless enemy, Broker has no place to hide, no time to investigate. No time to retaliate.

But death isn’t an option.

Or is it?

The Warrior Code – Beware the stranger

Ruthless gangsters pursue Beth and Meghan Petersen, twins, in Wyoming. They don’t know why. One of them has lost her memory.

Outnumbered and powerless, the twins are facing certain capture and death.

Till a quiet, unassuming man steps in between.

But can they trust him?

The Warrior’s Debt – Assassin vs Killer

A serial killer stalks New York city, one whose only weapon is a wooden bat. He grows increasingly brutal with each kill and disappears into the shadows afterwards.

The NYPD’s investigation is going nowhere and in desperation they turn to someone who has some knowledge of killing.

The NYPD's hunter pursues terrorists, gangsters, killers of all kinds. He is an assassin himself.

However even he makes no progress and hopes that the killer makes a mistake.

The killer makes it personal instead.

Then begins a game of Last Killer Standing.

Ty Patterson's Warriors are a group of mostly ex-Special Forces operatives who are assigned the highest-risk, highest-threat missions in the country by a U.S. government agency, a "nonexistent organization" that reports directly to the President of the United States. I have read all four novels in The Warriors Series Boxset, and everyone of them is quite a ride! I have individual reviews already posted for each book. It has been fun watching British author Ty Patterson grow with experience.

The first novel in the set, The Warrior, is an excellent action thriller story that was hard to put down. Mr. Patterson showcases his superb ability to write thrilling action scenes in this debut novel.

With the 2nd book, The Reluctant Warrior, Mr. Patterson introduces more of the Warriors and his plotting becomes more complex.

In my opinion, the best book in the set is book 3, The Warrior Code. In this tale, twins Beth and Meghan are introduced. The characters are better fleshed out than in the previous two novels. We are also treated to the best plot line to date. Furthermore, Mr. Patterson's sharp wit is on display for the first time in The Warrior Code.

The final story, The Warrior's Debt, reveals Mr. Patterson's finest character development skills New warriors are also brought on board, making for a fresh look to the team. The plot is meaty. Throughout all 4 novels, the author's knack for tightly-written, electrifying action sequences is evident.

I look forward to Book 5 of the Warrior series. I am missing the characters and their ingenious, exhilarating adventures. I whole-heartedly recommend The Warriors Series Boxset to all action and thriller fans.

Zeb and Broker and Warriors, oh my! They are an elite band of black ops agents who are so secret that they don’t exist. Zeb and his men and women take on gangs and a serial killer in these four action-packed adventure thrillers. The Warrior, The Reluctant Warrior, and The Warrior Code are filled with interesting characters, plenty of danger, and some creative twists and surprises. The fourth book of the series, The Warrior’s Debt, is more of a psychological thriller, and it will keep you engaged until the very end.

Having been a beta reader for three of these novels, I can tell you that Mr. Patterson works hard at his craft, and with each successive novel, his characters and plots keep getting better, stronger, and more entertaining. This four-pack is a great way to experience all of the Warriors’ exploits at a very reasonable price.

Books 1-4

I highly recommend this series, having read and reviewed all 4 thrillers I can honestly say that this offer is a real treat and should not be passed by those who are thrill seekers or by those who enjoy high octane writing, great plotting, well-drawn characterization and a series that is getting better and better with each installment. Each book can be read and enjoyed on its own but I do suggest reading them in sequence.

A boxset is an excellent and economical way to experience Mr. Ty craftsmanship and especially getting to know his main players: a bunch of Special Ops operatives who work for an agency that does not exit and are deployed on lethal and covert missions around the world. If you like this genre of story you will find this series to be most entertaining from the opening page till the closing of the book

Book 1
New indie writer for me, and was a very good read, looking forward to more by him. This book" THE WARRIOR" you meet Zeb, an ex Special Forces, now a private consultant. He is a man on a mission, in Congo, what he in counted changed the rules for him, and who he worked for. He now became a man on a mission, working alone for justice. No one knew him, his past was shrouded in a shadow. Good read, that grabs you from the first page
Book 2
Shattner and luck didn’t go together, his appearance didn’t help either. Marriage with two children, she wanted better. Found himself trading weapons in the black market, and he was dishonorable discharges when they found out. Found work at a garage, and in another gang. .Telling his kids, if they don’t hear from him to call Zeb.
As for the team they are working on a case of a mole in the FBI,missing Zeb after he was killed. The survaliance is taking a lot of man hours, trying to find out who the mole is. By chance they find out about Shattner and meets the kids.interesting plot, why were they instructed to call Zeb.
Book 3
Megan and Beth twins ,Zeb meets while out camping. A kidnapping and Zeb interferred. The twins added to the story, with a touch of humor and and were well trained by their father in observing and protecting themselves. The questions of who was behind the kidnapping, and why. A good action adventure once again with Zeb and the team.
Book4
A team mate Brwana is with his sick father, a friend of his father was killed, and wanted Zeb to look into it. A killer is loose, his weapon is a bat and unattached men.and Brooker is attacked. The hunt for him now is personal for Zeb. You don’t go after any of his team. Again we have the twins, with action to the end....Great Series

An Excellent Read

Captivating throughout all four books. A heavy mixture of varied characters in a very well.narrated story..
A complex group of main characters just grab you attention and take time and patience as the author gradually unveils their past a d make up very cleverly..
A very well written plot that kept you glued to the plot yet at the same time you tried to second guess their details in an attempt to outsmart the author but never quite getting there.
One of the best boxed sets I've read in some time and I congratulate the author on a well planned, well thought out and intriguing set of books that captured your imagination from start to finish.
Having read the first 4 books I cannot wait to read what is to follow and discover if the characters all achieved the harmony in life all but one seemed to lack.
Thank you for an engaging, thoughtful but delightful story

I liked these books, but they were not mesmerizing and I was really tired of them by the time I had finished. I ordered the 4 book boxset and so I read all 4 of them back to back. They are very graphic and Patterson goes into far too much detail about the surroundings where each of the "hits" or violence takes place. He also gives a lot of info on the type of munitions he uses. None of which I felt necessary. They all follow the same pattern and plot and they continue to give the same information and background on all of the prominent characters. I've read other Ty Patterson books and liked them, but I felt that this group of books just didn't live up to the standards of the others.

Amazingly Always Freshly Entertaining and Riviting Throughout!

As an avid reader of more than a hundred novels per year, I never expected any author could create a series of four stand-alone books that continued the freshness, excitement and entertainment from page one of the first to the last page of the final! Type Patterson sets a new benchmark of entertainment that few, if any, other writers can match! Exceptional but realistic characters you can't help but love and cheer for.

The Warriors Series

Awesome! Not an original statement but true nonetheless. There is nothing not to like. Zeb can kick some serious *** and do it with such deadly calm. I appreciate the relationship between these friends who would die for each other. I read them all back to back in a couple of days and I sure wish I had a few more. Zeb and his band of merry men(and now women) are in my top two list of favorites. Thanks Ty!

New favorite author

Just read box set 1 and bought box set 2 plus books 9 & 10. This is a great read. A lot of action. Believable characters, interesting group. Doesn't waste time on extraneous details which leads to a good read. No scanning ahead to get past boring parts because there are none. Proof reading and editing were great. I would recommend to everyone.

The warrior's series will Grab you and pull you in!

Patterson writes with the authority of someone who had been there and back. His warrior's are a believable group that operates outside the normal constraints of government agencies.

A high action thriller with the team delving in to the dark internet and ‘gaming’ and solving horrendous murders. I did realise the future of the plot before it was disclosed but then ending was still great. Recommend all the authors books.

Loved it!!!

This was a great introduction to the warrior series. I loved each book. I like how the author always refreshes the Reader's memory on the various characters such that each book can be read as a stand alone. Brilliant work Mr Patterson.

Unbelievably excellent 👌

There are a multitude of life and death moments and then there are the times when we can have a good chuckle when reading the adventures of all our characters in this series. Who is the beast who lirks inside our hero Zeb?

To his enemies, he is destiny. His friends say he is the most lethal man they know. Not many people have heard of him. Meet U.S. Special Forces operative Zeb Carter.
These four thrillers are his stories. Over 800 pages of high-octane action and adventure for fans of Jack Reacher, Will Robie, Mitch Rapp, and Scot Harvath.

The set includes:

The Warrior (Book One)

Zeb’s in the Congo on orders to track down a group of rogue mercenaries suspected of training rebel forces planning a coup. His brief is to observe, but when he witnesses a horrific atrocity, he breaks a cardinal rule and decides to mete his own brand of justice. Breaking mission rules has its own consequences however, and Zeb finds himself being hunted by friend and foe. Zeb is good at the killing game. Just how good is he at dying?

The Reluctant Warrior (Book Two)

Broker, the ace intelligence analyst in the Warriors crew, is good at finding people who don't want to be found. His hunt for a mole deep in the FBI's New York office draws unwanted attention and he soon finds himself fighting for his life. In the largest city in the country, he has no place to hide. He has the baddest Special Ops crew with him; they have no time to retaliate. Dying is increasingly certain when it's him who is on the run.

The Warrior Code (Book Three)

Zeb Carter wants to be left alone and heads to the Wyoming wilderness for some much deserved R&R. Fate has other plans, however, when it puts twins Beth and Meghan Petersen, and the assassins hunting them, in his path. This time he’s on his own – no crew, no back-up, nothing but his Glock between living and dying.

The Warrior’s Debt (Book Four)

A vicious serial killer unlike any other, is stalking the citizens of New York and in desperation the NYPD turns to Zeb Carter for help. However, even Zeb's skills and experience get him nowhere. The serial killer is always one step ahead and the body count rises. Zeb hopes the killer makes a mistake. The killer, however, already has Zeb Carter on his radar. The killer has turned hunter. Zeb Carter is prey.

What did I like? As a beta reader sometimes I am so surprised and this book is one of those books. Zeb Carter is one of a kind. I know that there are men out there like that but I just fell in love with Zeb. He struck a note inside of me that I couldn't let go of. I love his method of thinking, always one step ahead. The other thing that I liked was the camaraderie that he had with all of the other characters in the book. Men that would drop whatever they were doing to back up a friend in need.
What will you like? A group of books that is full of hard-as-nails action, suspense, crime and an action thrillers that will keep you glued to the pages. That will keep you reading till you can’t keep your eyes open and then picked it up again as soon as you wake. I would hope and pray that there really are men like this out there and they would do what Zeb did if they happened on the same situation. It would be nothing but right. Ending that you don’t expect but love and some that will bring tears. If this is an example of his work in this series I can't wait to read the next books and I think you will agree with me.

Warriors Series

I thoroughly liked all four books. As a retired crime scene investigator, the scene investigation including the fingerprint acquisition methodology was right on. As a student of English, the fourth book was full of spelling and grammatical errors not edited. The first three books were very well written. I have recommended the books to my friends.

Wow, I'm loving this series. The series gets better with each new book. This Black Ops team keeps the action fast paced with twist and turns that keep you reading until the end. All the characters in this group have past experiences that have shaped them into the men & women they are now. They have become a family and will fight to the end for each other. Must read series.
