Christian Romance. Seven boys adopted from the foster care system by Alec and Maggie Donahue, a loving Irish couple living in Breeze Point, Cape Cod. Now grown men, the brothers are making their way in the world in their chosen professions, each hoping to find a love to last a lifetime. Faith. Family. Honor. The ties that bind them together. And an abundance of love.

The Heartbreaker
Wyatt Donahue has always been a ladies’ man, even though his heart has never been touched by love. Blonde and blue-eyed, Wyatt is a shortstop for a professional baseball team, The Bay State Bombers. Sidelined by a knee injury, Wyatt is devastated when a car accident further damages his baseball prospects. Wanting nothing more than to get back to his pro baseball career, Wyatt finds himself sinking into a depression when his condition doesn’t improve. When a stunning beauty from his past offers him a lifeline, will Wyatt take it?
Kaitlyn O’Malley is a beautiful, dedicated physical therapist who experiences great joy in helping people recover from their injuries. Back in high school she tutored Wyatt when he was the golden boy athlete and she was the quiet bookworm. Although Wyatt still makes her heart flutter, Kaitlyn is determined to stay professional and help her client get back on the baseball diamond. But one look into those big blue eyes might send Kaitlyn right over the edge and into Wyatt’s loving arms.

Attitude does not even begin to describe Wyatt and the state of mind that he has found himself in. Abandoned, in every since of the word, at a young age- alone and starving; Wyatt has closed off his heart to all those around him except of his forever family, his worst fear being left and devastated again. Thankfully Katelyn enters and tilts it's world off of it's axis. This physical therapist just might be what the doctor, or the Donahue brothers, have ordered.

I must say, there is something about this series... I can never get enough, no matter how hard I try. Every time that I open one of the Donahue brother's stories, I dive right in and forget to watch for where my feet are landing.

MIRACLES DO HAPPEN

Wyatt was all set to rejoin his pro baseball team after an injury sidelined him for months. Then an accident damaged the same leg and possibly ended his career forever. He was nothing without baseball. That was his life's dream and it was being taken away from him. Without that, who was Wyatt Donahue?
Kaitlyn thought she knew, but convincing Wyatt wasn't going to be easy, especially considering she'd been hired as Wyatt's physical therapist by his six brothers...a physical therapist Wyatt didn't want, by the way...and to top it off, when she showed up on his doorstep he didn't even recognize her. Talk about a low blow!
But then sparks flew, as they often do, and Kaitlyn gave Wyatt the hope to keep trying. Maybe he could make a comeback after all.He had to work hard to get there the first time, so he was no stranger to hard work, and this was definitely something he wanted to get back in his life.
Romance definitely wasn't in the picture though. Wyatt made that one of his top life rules. Never get too close. Always break things off before they got too serious. He was abandoned by his parents. From then on, if anyone left it would be him. He'd never be abandoned again. But he wasn't counting on the high school crush still being alive and well all these years later.
These books are just amazing, and I almost don't want to start the next one because I know it's the last one, but these books are so engaging that I have no choice but to move on to the next one. I have to find out what's next, as sad as it'll be that the series is over.
These books are high on good, clean romance but not preachy. Morals are everywhere, but you're not reading a sermon. You get pulled into the Donahue life and you're not let go until the last page.

Baby It’s You is book six in Seven Brides Seven Brothers series by Belle Calhoune. This series takes place in Breeze Point, Cape Cod. This is a really good book.
Wyatt Donahue had just finished recovering from a torn ligament in his knee and was waiting for Spring Training to start when he was in a car wreck that banged up his left leg. Now he was in danger of having his entire career go down the drain. The pain was terrible and he felt so despondent. When Kaitlyn O’Malley knocked on his door, he was quite brusque when he talked to her. She was a physical therapist his brothers had hired to help him. However, she could only help if he would let her in. Will he let her help him? Can she get him ready to go back to pro-ball?

I always like a series that involves a large family. That’s what got me into Kimberly Rae Jordan’s Callaghan’s & McFaddens as well as Susan May Warren’s Christiansen family series.

What makes the Donahue’s different? Well other than the fact that they are 7 boys, these boys came from difficult and traumatic childhoods. They lived through abuse, abandonment… scars that affect them as adults in many ways. But this family that they’ve become thanks to their parents outstanding love, provided them with faith and strength beyond compare.

Now Wyatt… the hot shot baseball player reminds me a bit of Jordan’s Kenton Callaghan or Warren’s Owen Christiansen… the bad boy athlete whose’ career is halted by an injury. The story of a man who, against his will, must learn to, through the ashes of defeat, build himself back up through more than just the sport but through faith, love, and family. What Wyatt has that these others don’t have is a past that makes that journey harder. But the love of Katie and his family’s support are here to stay.

A great read. Light and breezy perfect for a vacation

You can read the books out of order, but to get a clearer picture it is best to follow the order of the series

So it's a story we've seen before: professional athlete gets injured and falls for his physical therapist. The author even went so far to poke fun at her own story by making a veiled reference to a Hallmark movie (on the Tearjerker channel). The fact that Wyatt had a history with her already as his former high school tutor did give the story a little more depth though. The further we get into this series, the more I want to see a prequel. (I've heard there's one out there!)

Just wonderful

I love the Donahue family, they're great. Each brother has found love except for Wyatt and Mac. Now it's Wyatt's turn. Kaitlyn's his physical trainer and they have a history. I thought the story was just wonderful. Wyatt started off ornery, but Kaitlyn didn't let that stop her trying to rehab him. Another book in the series that I couldn't put down. Loved it!

Great story

Wyatt's story & a good read.
I liked the girl's sardines as she told off the baseball player, who was wallowing in his hurts. She was sassy, upfront & just what he needed.

I knew going in I might be a little partial to this book because the heroine's name was borrowed from my daughter, but this book exceeded any expectations I might have had. One of my favorite sayings has always been that there are seasons in life - people are in your life for a season... they may come back, they may not. This was a shining example of that saying. Wyatt and Kaitlyn were in and out of each other's lives a couple of different times, but only when it was truly God's plan did it matter. Wyatt was a perfect example of what happens when we die to our expectations and rely on God's path for us and how good it can really be. Each book makes me sad because I know that it means the series is coming to an end, but this entire collection will be one that I keep and read again from beginning to end. Belle Calhoune has earned a fan for life in me!

This little book had a lot of problems for me. This is a Christian short story that is the 6th in the series. I haven't read any of the others. I found the whole book to be uninteresting and there was no chemistry between these two. The at the end they started calling each other baby and that just killed anything good I felt. just hate that endearment and they both used it. I didn't know who was talking. There was no preachy and this was squeaky clean. I don't think I'll read any more in this series.

Charmed

I've loved Wyatt since book one so it was sweet to see we were finally getting to read about who would win his guarded heart. Loved Kaitlyn who is the perfect balance for his fear of being left with her total commitment and devotedness and encouragement as they look to the future.

Wyatt was adopted at age nine and brought up in the Donahue home which was full of love, devotion, family, and prayer. However, it also deals with Wyatt's fears, and feelings of being unworthy and being rejected because of his birth parents.
This is an enjoyable story, although some of the events are rather unrealistic, and there are still editorial errors.

Wyatt, the baseball player and one of two remaining bachelor Donahue brothers, falls for his physical therapist, Kaitlyn.

More detail and interaction between Wyatt and Kaitlyn would have made for a stronger story. A few misspellings and incorrect words detracted from the story in places, but overall, I have enjoyed reading about all of the brothers.

Worth the Wait

Wyatt and Katilyn's story was well worth the wait. It takes the love of a strong woman to help you face your demons and be there to help you when you are down. Patiently waiting for the last book in this series.

I really enjoy reading this book. Faith at work is what you see. I really like that. I enjoy Kaitlyn's surprise from Wyatt. That was fun. I really recommend this book and the whole series. I can't wait for Mac's story.

When Kaitlyn shows up at Wyatt's house he never expected what would happen to him. The way she handled him was truly amazing. You can feel God working throughout this whole book. Watching their relationship grow is beautiful.
