I thought this book was going to involve some discussion on the subject of using transitions. Instead, this book consists of lists of transitions organized under type of transition, e.g., giving more emphasis, clarifying, qualifying, etc.

Oddly, though, I think this might be useful. As an attorney, I write a lot and I tend to fall back on a limited number of transitions. It might be useful to break old habits.

Excellent book for anyone looking to learn the English language.

Great book. Easy to follow and understand.Detailed definition for each transition. All in all, a good study tool. And the price is a steal.

Not very instructive

This book is mainly just a list of examples, without much explanation accompanying them. I did not find the book to be beneficial in learning to write, and feel that the expense of purchasing it was a waste. I can not recommend this book to anyone.
