Here is a Top 10 list from Ann about her likes, dislikes, and oddities:
1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin. 2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle. 3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all. 4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return. 5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above. 6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word. 7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home. 8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk. 9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain. 10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

Abby finds herself pregnant and unsure who the father of her baby is. Is it Seth, the sweet amazing man that got scared and ran off when she told him that she loved him or was it his naughty identical twin brother, Sam, that makes her skin break out with goose bumps every time they’re in the same room together? Both men have forgiven her for her indiscretions and are patently waiting for her to choose. Of course, neither of them know that she’s pregnant and since she slept with both of them within 10 days of each other, there is really no way to find out.
I thought that there would be more drama in this book considering the plot but because both men were so amazing, there really wasn’t. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and laughed out loud at the epilogue when we finally find out what happened with ice bucket. I don’t want to give anything away so I won’t tell you who she finally chooses but I will tell you that there is a happily after for everyone in this book and I loved the way that author described the choosing of the name for the baby.
Ann Omasta may be a romance author but her novels’ plots are so chock full of twists and turns that they have the makings of mystery. As the plots lifts you and carries you away on its wild ride (you know the ones where you think so hard that you become convinced you know what is about to happen, in fact you are sure of it, but then it doesn’t happen) Omasta deals with issues of trust—in your own instincts as well as in the word of others—the concept of family—whether it is created by blood or choice or both, and the essence of what matters most.
I enjoyed Omasta’s first novel in the Chances and Choices Duology and am now fully satisfied by its sequel Making Choices. Highly recommended.
I read all three books one after the other and I seriously could not stop, I loved all the characters and this part of a wonderful story. Honestly I laughed until I cried quite a few times and teared up just as many you do get drawn into their world. In this part Abby has a very hard decision to make after finding herself pregnant and now told both Sam & Seth but she also doesn't know who the father is and they both want her so now she has to make that decision on who she wants??? Does she follow her heart and choose Seth who is the stable, grounded guy or choose Sam the one she thinks about always, can't keep her hands off, bad boy who sleeps around. Courtney helps her a lot and it's great how they are there for each other. I can't wait to find out next part........
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Chances and Choices
I cheated...I had to know which Davis Abby ended up with and I cheated early in the book, before she had met Seth’s brother Sam. To say I loved this book would be an understatement...I inhaled it. While at times I thought Abby was a bit delusional with her rationalizations she really suffered from poor decisions making syndrome. So I sometimes received questions about my reviews if there was cheating I the book. I can say that some narrow minded people might considered this a cheating but I totally didn’t. I just bought the omnibus edition with all four stories. It’s a Rave .from Me.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. when I started the book I thought .. okay, we're going to look at it from his side. but when I read that it started on her side, I was very surprised. it was wonderful to read .. I soon found out that I had already brought in three parts before and so could just continue with the story. in a word a top book .. I will continue with part three.
Boy did Abby mess up sleeping with identical twins a week apart. Now pregnant too! What is Abby gonna do? She has to decide if she wants good guy Seth or Bad boy Sam? Hard decision to make, who will she choose? Loved this story being a Michigan girl myself. Great read.
Making Choices (The Davis Twins #2) was a great read by Ann Omasta. Abby is faces with the impossible decision of choosing which twin she is in love with. Abby knows she has made a mess of her life and doesn't want to get in between the brothers. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
The first book was left with such uncertainty yet this book started right up with a definitive choice & the other brother acknowledging it was the right choice. Not at all like the characters at the end of the first book. Was expecting more angst.
Anna is pregnant but is the baby Sam’s or Seth’s? An interesting read as the brother’s find out about the pregnancy and determine who the father is. Will one of them step up to be a father to her baby? Or will they be upset she slept with them both and let her deal with the pregnancy on her own?
When you find out you're pregnant and you're not sure who the father is, because you slept with twin brothers.. ..you have to make choices. Will they be the right ones?
The Davis twins, they know tge meaning of FAMILY. Abigail and Courtney are a great pair of bffs. Annie, Abigails boss makes the book...she is hilarious. Off to buy book 3
Okay, two possible fathers, both identical, so no chance at DNA elimination, one sweet kind caring and tender. The other darker, more dangerous, more sensuous. How do you choose??
Actual rating 2.5 Besides sexual chemistry, these characters have nothing to build their relationship on. It just seems like a rather superficial romance to me
Not an overall bad book but it seemed very surface level of things and there was not much drama. For a book series that started out hot, it fizzled out. The drama came from her insecurities
The second half of romance duology that features Abigail involved with a set of identical twins, Seth and Sam Davis. Now pregnant, she must choose between the two...and she wants to choose the man she loves. The one that makes her heart race...the one that completes her.
But which one is the man she loves? Which one is the baby's father?
In this spicy romance, both of these men play a large part in her life. So, too, do her best friends Courtney and Annie. As her body grows ever larger with her baby, Abby will have to make some hard decisions in this conclusion of the first where she was torn between two lovers...
This is the sequel to "Taking Chances", Book 2 (Making Choices) is the final book in "The Chances and Choices Duoligy"
This read (both books) was pure fluffy fun. I enjoyed reading both books. They were funny and entertaining. There was no great character or plot depth in my opinion but still I felt for the hero & heroine. Definitely an intriguing story that had lots of giggling moments.
At times it felt like there were things the author left out. It felt like she knew things that we didn't get to know. This was only a small issue though.
Abigail us in trouble. After sleeping with both brothers she doesn't know what to do. Seth has come back after disappearing, to say he lives her but she has to be honest with him and let him know she slept with his twin brother. They come to her and says that she has to chose. But she leaves for a week to do some thinking and do it alone. But will she find a solution? Which brother will she chose!
Abby is just the run of the mill shy woman until she meets Sexy Seth! With having to leave post-it's for inspiration and little pep talks to having fun with twins. I fell in like with Abby. Seth is the man of her dreams until she meets Sam his identical twin brother!! Whew!! Are they completely identical? Only way to find out is to give it a read.
Great book would love more of this crazy crew of people!!
The soap opera of Abigail and the Davis brothers continues in the second book. I still was able to predict what was coming, and still couldn't put the book down. This book felt a bit more rushed to get to the end and I was a little disappointed in the wrap up with Seth. But I still recommend it for someone looking for a little drama.
This was a great follow up to book one!! Abby must decide between two hot twin brothers and who she can see herself with!! What a terrible position to be in...right....to hotties... Will she just run away and choose neither or settle down now that she has more on her plate and just her to think about. A must read..can't wait to read more
