This is a collection of folktales about a modest farmer from Donegal, who with good common sense manages to solve problems that are beyond the capabilities of the most learned men in Ireland.

The book had been sitting unopened on my shelf for the past 50 years, but now I finally read it, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.
