Everyone is searching for Mason.

Zeus sent Hermes, and the Oracles have used their magic, with no success. A sparkle of hope arises when Eris, the goddess of Chaos, sends an invitation to her wedding engagement party. She’s holding Mason hostage, and Skylar and her friends only need permission to enter Eris’s world to rescue him.

At the party, Eris gives them one condition: In exchange for Mason, they must travel to the Land of Reverse and bring back the bottle of gold water King Midas used to wash himself free of his gift. Further chaos follows when Eris not only sets up a hunt in the Labyrinth of Crete, but makes a bargain with the Titans she rescued.

The Titans possess power more than anyone anticipated, and Cronus is hungry for revenge after his own children locked him up in Tartarus. No one is safe. Not even the humans.

I was given this book for my honest review

This is the 4th book in the Descendant Prophecies Series by this author and needs to be read in order.

You are invited to take a continued journey from mystical times when the beginning of the Gods brought forth turmoil, substance, love, devastation, peace and harmony to the world which we live.

Be sure to have your ice handy, tissues for tearing, special towel for screaming, and the cell phone off. Get in your favorite spot along with your drinks and snacks to be prepared for a journey like no other.

This is Skylar and Mason’s continued journey fighting the demons of another time running concurrent with today’s world. Will this couple along with their friends not only be able to save the world in which we live but bring the world to a peaceful harmonious place along with finding their true happiness of love?

A new Olympus, new fascinations, new discoveries await you in this one of a kind read by Author Mary Ting. Not only will she have you gasping as each Greek God turns your heart into turmoil but the story will bring you to the far edge only to have you brought back again to test your trueness of heart when reading this accomplished fascination of the true written word.

To the author: Knowing a true heartfelt book like this could only bring tears and frustration to this reviewer it is with great pleasure that I say when readers read this continued series you will “ruin” them just as you did me in reading any other paranormal out in the reading spectrum today. This book along with the other’s pulled me in and left me on water’s edge till the last word was read.

To the readers: Come and Join Mason and Skylar, The Gods of good and evil along with their friends in a spectacular tale. You will be the proverbial fly on the wall. Open your heart to the New, Old, past, present, fear, laughter and love and be enthralled.

Happy Reading

From Titans is a simply brilliant culmination of a spectacular series that will have you holding your breath one minute and then sighing in rapt contentment the next. This story will push past all of the previous boundaries to show you just how far reaching and life altering love truly is to a life. While love nurtures and cares, neglect and hate viciously rips apart and destroys a life. We need to always remember to live our lives in a way that will spread and plant love in the hearts of those we touch.

Skylar is forcibly separated from Mason, and no one will rest until they can find him and bring him home. They all struggle with his loss, but Skylar is hit the hardest. While Mason already has family of his own, he has become her family and her home. She can’t imagine life without him by her side, and she refuses to accept that reality. No matter what may come, she will stand firm and resolute in her pursuit and rescue of her love and her heart. Nothing will keep them apart not even the legendary Titans. Mason comes to realize the danger he is in, and he relies on his memory and his heart which is forever bound to Skylar to keep him sane and in control. He won’t ever give up trying to get back to her, and once he does they will never be apart again. While he waits on his friends and family to find him, he pushes forward with the hope that love will win out in the end, and he will hold Skylar in his arms until the stars go dim and the sky falls down around them.

If I didn’t already love Skylar and Mason, this latest story just strengthens my opinion of both of them. They are both steadfast in their love for the other. There is never a time when they felt it was just too hard and too much to go on and turned away. They held onto each other even when they were separated by too many dangers and unknowns. Skylar had a wonderful group of family and friends who walked with her through this difficult and trying time. Mason knew the courage and strength it would take for Skylar and his family to get find him, and he never once doubted that Skylar would find him and stop at nothing to be with him once again. He knew how much she loved him, and he refused to give up on her. These two are a true testament to the impossible miracles that love can weave into existence. Nothing is truly impossible when love guides and leads you.

Mary Ting continues to refine her magnificent talent and prove to us that a life lived with love is a life well lived. She continues to blow my mind and expand my heart with her deeply touching stories of hope and purpose. No matter how hard life can become, never doubt that there is a warm and renewing sun at the end of the storm that had you in its hold. Focus on your heart and the hope that always lies deep within.

I was hired to proofread this book. Ms. Ting is probably aware that I would be reviewing because we have worked together in the past, but it was not part of our agreement. I just review every book I read. If you feel that my connection to the book makes my review biased, so be it, but this is my honest review.

I have actually read this entire series (I feel like I can't say that about very many series anymore) so I already felt a connection with these characters. I do highly recommend you read the series in order, as you will at the very least be exposed to some pretty big spoilers for the early books if you don't. I've wanted these characters to get an HEA since book one, and have consistently found myself somewhat stymied on that score, time and time again. Things just kept going wrong!

I felt like a lot of this story was pretty predictable. I was not surprised by the ultimate outcome, and a part of me wishes that more painful sacrifices had been made. I was intrigued by the mystery at the beginning of the story. And even though it was predictable, I was ultimately satisfied with the story arc, because sometimes you just want to be right.

Overall I give From Titans 3.75 stars.

I always loved reading books with a happy ending, and this series nailed it to the top of my favourite list. I could feel the happiness radiated from all of the characters. Besides Mason and Skylar, I also loved Nick as he always made some funny statement, and reading the awesome gods and goddesses trying to fit into the modern world was freaking funny. But when I think of the relationship between Hephaestus and Skylar's mum, it's kind of weird. It's his grandmother for Zeus sake!

When I finished reading this book, I still couldn't find the answer to how old was the Grand family members, I know that they were not immortal, but probably live longer and ageing slowly? I also wondered what Skylar would do with with the gold water. At first, I thought she would use it to turn the Titans into gold, and I would be much satisfied if she did that. But who knows one day the author would continue writing the spin-off of this series with the excuse that the prisoners escape! One can only hope.

This ends the series

What I enjoyed:
* There was plenty of wrap-up at the end, including glimpses of the future
* Zeus, Hades and Poseidon bickering with each other
* The maze was an exciting new location

What could have been better:
* Mason and Skye were too syrupy sweet, it made my teeth ache when they were thinking of each other (there is more to life than just one other person)
* Eris was annoying
* Skye being in charge - it didn't make sense with the other full gods/older half brothers around

From Titans (Book 4):
I love how the gods are taking care of Skylar after what happened to Mason. Especially Hades that totally surprised me! You can totally feel Skylars pain. The dogs! The dogs named after the gods was such a fun little tidbit! I really enjoyed how the God's treated Skylar just like a little sister and protected her. I love Hades the most! He makes me so happy seeing how protective and sweet he truly is. The trip to find the gold water is fun and different. The whole battle between the Titans and the gods/descendants was amazing. Their wedding was beautiful and perfect for them!

It was just ok and as I said in my previous review, it's a stretch. The plot for this was led by the prologue and epilogue in From Origins, but I just feel this book really didn't give much substance to the series as a whole. It's just so random to me having Gods help Skyler get Mason back from being abducted by Eris and saving the world. The first 2 books are amazing then the series just dropped off for me unfortunately.

*** This book was given to me by the author in exchange for my honest opinion. ***

From Titans is the 4th and final book in The Descendant Prophecies series. All 4 books need to be read in chronological order.

The story continues where it left off in book 3 and moves quickly into the story line. Mason has been kidnapped by Cronus and is held captive by Eris, the Goddess of Chaos. While she has conditions and aspirations of her own, Cronus wants only one thing - revenge. Led by Skylar, the Greek Gods and their descendants will need to do all that's possible, impossible and then some to find Mason, protect themselves and save the human world.

Although we have met almost all the characters a long time ago, Ting does an amazing job developing them even further and making them more interesting. I have to say there wasn't a character in the whole story towards whom I felt indifferent. Either I absolutely loved them or I disliked them with a passion.

The story was paced fast enough for me to stay interested and slow enough for the details not to get lost in it. New mythological characters, the Labyrinth, the Old and New Olympus,... This book was full to the brim with exciting and intriguing concepts, action, passion and humor to keep me hooked till the very end.

Once again, I appreciate that the author took some extra time in the end to give us a glimpse of Skylar and Mason's hard earned happy ending. It was very rewarding to be able to enjoy it with them after such a wild ride.

Like all of the books in this series, this book will suck you in from the first chapter! I am rating it a strong 5 stars. Mary has become a master story teller of the Gods and Goddesses of Olympus. The Descendant Prophecies books are ones every fantasy lover should read!
When Mason is kidnapped by the Goddess of Chaos, life erupts quickly for the Descendants and their crew. Eris is keeping Mason held hostage and Skyler and the group are looking endlessly for him. When they get a wedding invitation they may finally have a clue as to where she is holding him. Eris demands a special item in order to release Mason. When she defaults on her contract the game becomes much more serious. Eris is in league with the Titans and now the Descendants must fight the battle of a lifetime to save not only their loved ones but Mason as well.
This story flows quickly with the danger of the humans, descendants and Gods alike. Will the group be able to save all of the world? Will Skyler and Mason have their happily ever after that they have dreamed of? You will have to dive into this wonderful series to find out the answers. As you are reading you will laugh, cry, and probably yell a lot! I know I sure did.
Thank you Mary for once again bringing this world to life. I loved it and am sure many more will love it also!!!

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a great ending to the series. What should be the happiest time in Sky and Mason’s life after getting engaged it turns to sh*t all because the Goddess of Chaos Eris and Cronus want to take over the world. You can just feel Sky, Everett, Nick and Amanda’s heartbreak and frustration over Mason being gone and having no answers of where he is. I liked how far Sky, Mason’s family and the Gods went to get Mason back. My favourite god would have to be Hades. I loved Mason and Sky’s house and all their rescue dogs named after the gods as their temperament was similar. Wow, Hades did an awesome job at planning Sky and Mason’s wedding it was beautiful. Man, wee Alexander is adorable but scarily powerful with what he could do at only 2 years old who knows what his full powers will be like. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

An epic conclusion to one helluva of book and series.

Sky and the rest of the gang will stop at nothing to rescue Mason. With the help of her half brothers Zeus, Possaidon and Hades, this battle will be nothing short than the epic battle they had fought before but this time their decendant will give them a hand.

As we conclude the end of one of the most incredible yet unpredictable journey. Sky and Mason will show and remind you how love and hope with the help of family will conquer all.

It saddens me to see the end of one of the best Greek mythology based series. If this is your type of genre then you have hit the jackpot. You will love it, I guaranteed it.

FROM TITANS by MARY TING, the minute you open to the first page that switch is flipped into SKYLAR and MASONS world, a world of GODS, I love being back with Mary Tings beloved characters and this time Mary has gone extreme and given us even more crazy Gods for Skylar to fight her way thru to get her beloved Mason. ERIS is just plain crazy but throw in CRONUS , a Labyrinth and we have one hell of a fight and adventure ahead. this is just the beginning Mary has taken this series to another higher level of writing, she has brought this journey a whole new high , I just love how Mary brought this book to an end only to leave an open for a new adventure , lots of twists and surprises. There is so much more in From Titans you will love this part of the series and will love everything about this book. Whooohoo Mary ! You out did yourself.... LOVE IT!

From Titans is a must read, this arc was given to me for an honest review.

I have to say Mary Ting, this is an amazing storyline! It's totally addicting.
God's, Goddesses, and Demi God's, oh my. Their Back!
Since Mason went missing in the restaurant in the last book, thanks to cronus the gang set out to rescue him and finally bring him home. This is a ride you won't want to miss, so hang on to your seats, it's going to get a little bumpy.
Eris, had kidnapped Mason, torchered and shrunk him. Eris made it her mission to make the Gods/Goddesses pay. She was doing a good job of it,in order to rescue Mason, they had to go to Labyrinth, and if they could make it thru that, they could save Mason.
Eris likes to cause chaos where ever she goes.
This is an excellent, exciting, edge of your seat book that you can't put down. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Greek Mythology is one of my favorites amongst mythologies since high school. Not only that their stories consist of many moral lessons to learn, but they are also bat s**t crazy. I have to say that Hades has always been my favorite amongst the three siblings. He is misunderstood at many levels, but he is the most responsible and reasonable than Zeus and Poseidon. His sarcasm makes him more likeable in the story. In this book, Mary Ting has done a great job illustrating the complicated characteristics and dysfunctionality of the Greek Gods and Goddesses which have produced a joyride of entertainment. The book has ended on a cliffhanger. So, will there be a spinoff out of this series, or will there be a fifth installment? Hmmm…

I was so excited to read more about Mason and Sky, all the Gods and the descendants. After the ending of from Deities I couldn’t wait to jump back into this world and find out what happened to Mason. One word..Eris!
I loved the action and learning all about the mythology behind every part of the journey.
Sky is even more in charge in this book and I lived that she never hesitated and did everything she had to in order to save Mason.
It was engrossing and full of action.
I was especially happy at the end..sigh..
If I could I would ask for more Mason and Sky and all the other descendants!

Best book of the series

This book rocked from beginning to end!!!! If you like reading about the Greek Gods you won't be disappointed. Ms. Ting delivers a great story totally making it impossible to put down! Mason and Skylers story jumps off the page and into your heart. Not only them but the Gods themselves seem to be likeable, believable ,and at times funny characters. I couldn't put it down well done!!

From Titans giant suspense!

I have to say this book was the best by far. I loved the other books in the Descendant Prophecies series, but I think this one is my favorite. It's got love, chaos, drama, and laughter just like the others. I felt this book come alive just like the others. Can't wait for more of this series!

Ending

This book had so many ups and downs! While I'm happy everything worked out, I didn't like the way things kept fast forwarding into the future. It felt like too many epilogues to find out what happened in the end.

Can't wait to read more from Mary Ting!
