In this, Ted’s final tale, he explores various roles for his impending retirement, in public service, the military and the voluntary sector, finding some more suitable than others. He also makes one final, and rather startling discovery about his precious briefcase.
Ted didn’t quite get to enjoy his retirement, so honour his legacy and make sure you find your own happy ever after.
Such a moving book, many tears shed at the end. I’m going to miss this little guy and his take on the world 💔 We can all learn a lesson from this - be more Ted. I hope he’s having a blast with Dolly over the rainbow bridge. 🌈
The best and saddest of the 3, as Ted knows his time on earth is running down, goes on a journey of his life, to meet and reunite with old friends, visit his former shelter and looks at retirement homes and deals with other friends passing on as his time gets shorter
and of course it has the always fun but this time with more meaning subplot of ted trying to reunite with his briefcase
