Raheim was the first voice of the TEMPTATIONS™ Universe and the character who started it all. Writing his story allowed me to explore what happens when a young man is forced to become a protector long before he’s ready.
Raheim carries the weight of his family on his shoulders. He is loyal, determined, and willing to sacrifice everything for the people he loves. But beneath that strength is a young man struggling with anger, heartbreak, responsibility, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together when life keeps pulling it apart.
This book is about family, love, loss, and the difficult choices that define us. Raheim’s journey reminds us that strength isn’t about never falling—it’s about finding the courage to keep going after life knocks you down.
What I love most about Raheim is that he is imperfect. He makes mistakes. He reacts emotionally. He fights battles both inside and outside of himself. Yet through it all, he continues to show up for the people he loves.
The Book of Raheim is the foundation of the TEMPTATIONS™ Universe. It introduces a family whose lives are forever changed by the choices they make and the temptations they face. My hope is that readers connect with these characters, see pieces of themselves in their struggles, and become invested in their journey.
