The title of my book is “ 100 Facts about Gladiators “ this book is by Miles Kelly, and this book is non - fiction. The genre of this book is Historical. The author is qualified to write the book because he learned about history of gladiators and Italy itself. This is an academic book, that is easy to read, but has some hard tone facts. The book delivers you some interesting facts about how Gladiators lived, and who were the Gladiators. I chose to read this book because I was quite interesting for me to know more about them.

This book is about who Gladiators are, when they were, what they did. It delivers information by telling facts, and quizzing you. This book delivered me these fun facts:
Gladiators were used not only to fight on the arena but also were used for killing others
Spartacus was a really persuasive because he made warriors and slaves stand on his side.
Also there were more types of Gladiators than you think

The important conclusions are that Gladiators were more than just fighters, and how they affected the Rome's history. Yes, they did achieve their purpose of delivering the knowledge of Gladiators. Sometimes I just can’t believe what they did or how they did it.

I actually liked this book, it was quite interesting and unbelievable. I liked the part about the costumes of different types of Gladiators. My least favorite part of the book was about women, that were not aloud to vote or sit in normal places like men. A history lover would definitely enjoy to read this book. I would recommend this book to a friend because they also might enjoy it. The recommending age is 10 and so on. The rating would probably be 5 out of 10.

This is one of Blake's books, given him by his great aunt in Oxford. I read it because Blake has had it out and around several times since he first received it, so I figured he must find it interesting, and despite my distaste for the whole subject, I read it through with attention. It's a simple children's book, but filled with illustrations and little facts about gladiators, the armor worn, training, why the fights were held and who sponsored them, etc. I actually learned quite a lot. When Blake asked me if I liked it, I told him I thought it was very interesting, but I couldn't say I actually "liked" it. He said, "I know exactly what you mean!"
