Sarah and Victor are home in Tastia and ready to claim their kingdom. But will they be able to defeat Ethano and his forces? Can they get the castle back and live happily ever after?
Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.
Eternal Conflict brings a close to the Saga of Ruby Red Ring series that, if you have read it, have come to love the character of Sarah and of course Victor too.
If you have read this series, it is a must to read this final 'chapter' in the overall series. Chrissy Peebles does a spectacular job bringing close to the live of the characters we've read about.
Poor Sarah and Victor return to their world ready to fight for its people, for peace, for love, and for their family. I refuse to mention spoilers as the book is a must read. Twists and turns, shocks and gasps..and tears to boot are some of the emotions and experiences you'll face. Happiness, Joy and Tender moments are in there too.
It's difficult to sum up a book like this, you need to have read the rest of the series to truly appreciate the wonder and great work that it is. The characters become more complex and more real as you continue and you become to understand each and every one better.
So in review, the book is amazing. I can't find a single fault in it, and it's the perfect ending to the series. So it's a must read, and if you are thinking and debating on reading the series it is one of my favourites out there. It cover action, romance, magic and mystery...and really what better is out there. You see the strength and weakness of the characters showing that the author knows how to give to its readers' a journey and escape that is well worth it.
I found this series to be quite good. Great story line, sometimes too much waffle and I tried to speed read to get back to the story line, but over all the story was good and I enjoyed it. I believe I read the seven books in a week or maybe a week and a half. Easy to read and enjoyable
The first time I came across this series was a few years ago and I have come back to it time and time again. I think that Sarah and Victor have a great story. I recommend this series and love seeing a warrior king and a paranormal investigator from different dimensions finding their truth.
An ok series with 2 main characters that are annoyingly sweet on each other, to the extent that the reader can only wince whenever the dialogue occurs.
Very good series, keeps you hooked and wanting more. The only thing I would change is the length of the love scenes. I skipped over many pages because it just went on and on.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series and i'm sad i'm finished. All the characters and the way there were constant twists in the story had me hooked all the way through. I need to find more to read from this author asap!
Read the whole series within days! Couldn't put it down. A very easy read, though too descriptive at times to where I kinda skipped. However, the plot was amazing!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Eternal Conflict is the climactic homecoming and long-awaited confrontation between Sarah, Victor, and their most dangerous enemy. The stakes are as high as ever, and the payoff—both in action and emotional closure—feels earned. The pacing is tight, the tension real, and the return to Tastia feels like the final full-circle moment. Sarah and Victor are no longer pawns of fate; they’re rulers stepping into their destiny. While the series has had its bumps, the ending is satisfying, delivering a blend of resolution, triumph, and a well-earned sense of peace.
My only real complaint throughout this book and the others as well was the fact that the author tended to repeat stuff a lot. When Sarah and Victor are talking about how they love each other and how Victor isn't evil and stuff, they say it over and over again just worded differently each time. So really, you only had to read the first few sentences and then once it starts repeating you can skip to the next section and not fear missing anything. And this happens a lot. I have never read a book where the characters spout their undying love for each other about once each chapter. Yes, we know you love each other, GET ON WITH THE PLOT! The other section that bothered me with the repeating is with recaps of the other novels. I understand to a point it is necessary, but the author went way beyond what is considered normal. I'm pretty sure throughout the series, Sarah and Victor reminiscence about how they first met and how they got married around 10 times. I'm pretty sure the author most likely did these things to make the book seem longer, they was filler. Overall, I loved the book and the book series. The plot was great and kept me interested in reading the next book. My only complaint is the repetition.
Wonderful book to close out the series, well I assume its the last one. Ended like it could be. The story went along perfectly with twists and turns but still lovely all the same. There are some editing issue, but I'm not cutting my rating for it. Awesome Ms. Peebles!
Delightful stories of how love can conquer all. Fate controls life destinies if we only go with the flow. The characters grew into beautiful, selfless people. This shows how we can change our future by determination & hard work.
great book series. I loved the story line. the only problem I had with it was there was a lot of repeating. I had to jump over some of it because I had read it three times. over all it was great and a most read
Loved this book, my one complaint would be the dragging on of either the lovey dovey parts or the arguments. Just a little annoying/repetitive I skimmed forward through paragraphs.
This is a good conclusion to the series. I'm happy it didn't go any longer, it was just the right length. This is still at a PG13 level. I'm happy with how the story ended.
