Слоан - сильна дівчинка, вміє за себе постояти, знає що хоче і відстоює це, її віра в Зета, це так гарно та віддано 😍

Вони разом, це суміш пристрасті, кохання, поваги, довіри та підтримки 🥹🥹🥹

Сцени 18+ - окремо хочу виділити, як вони прописані (точніше перекладені) просто мед, так гаряче, не пошло, і так чуттєво 🤤🤤🤤 їх перша зустріч, задала тон книгам, вона 🛐

Я ревіла, не буду писати чого ( я сама жму на спойлери і читаю тому не хочу портити враження), але це було неочікувано та по живому 💔💔💔

Чесно, буде дуже важко викласти весь спектр емоцій, які я пережила впродовж цієї історії, і не заспойлерити вам, але я постараюся)

Мені сподобався стиль авторки. Ця історія — класична в жанрі dark romance, проста, без зайвого пафосу, і саме цим вона мене притягувала. От прям реально: тут були звичайні «бандитські» проблеми, але вони особисто мені здавалися настільки реальними й наближеними до справжнього світу, що аж дух захоплювало.
Як ви могли зрозуміти з рецензії на «Westin», багато сексу мене тригерить, проте ця історія дуууже мене вразила саме в цьому плані. Хоч сексу було мало (так-так, у попередній — забагато, у цій — замало, мені не догодиш 😂), але сцени такі, бляха, гарячі, що я читала кожне слово, не випускаючи нічого, як зазвичай буває. Це одна з небагатьох історій, яка саме в цьому аспекті мені дуже зайшла)

Формат коротких книг — ніби якийсь захопливий серіал, особливо коли перемикаєшся з однієї на іншу. Відчуття таке, ніби реально пультом натискаєш «Наступна серія».

Так, я її нахвалила, але тепер скажу, чого мені не вистачало, — діалогів гг. Вони, звісно, були, але мені МАЛО!!!! Я хотіла більше влитися в їхнє «повсякденне» життя. Але, попри ці відчуття, у мене немає жодних питань: уся історія розкрита й, осмілюся сказати, АХУЄННО розкрита)

От і настав час висловити думку щодо героїв книги. Тут я згадаю не лише про гг, а й про інших важливих та улюблених персонажів.

Першою буде Лейс, і за своїм вайбом вона мені дуууже нагадувала Сіббі з «Аделіни». Вона — неймовірна дівчина, якій, на жаль, випало прожити паршиве життя.

Піппа — топ, але вічно сує свого носа туди, куди не просили 😐 Проте трохи згодом це враження йде по пизді, і там мені її хотілося і задушити, і розцілувати.

І нарешті — гг. Зет… йопересете, ЯКИЙ ВІН КЛАСНИЙ. Я не можу його описати — тут треба його прожити, щоб зрозуміти й упевнитися в його неймовірності. Він дав Слоан прізвисько «зла дівчинка», і воно, бляха, палило мої труси 😌 Також його чорна сумка… ох боже, я теж таку хочу)
І як би він не боровся із собою, зі своїми почуттями та внутрішніми демонами, він працював над собою заради щастя Слоан, що є жирним плюсом для нього як для шикарного чоловіка.

Слоан — алілуя — не була якоюсь білою, пухнастою, наївною героїнею. Вона була реалісткою в певних сумнівних ситуаціях і могла тверезо мислити без істерик. Коротше, вона теж топова)

anyway i love zeth mayfair and sloane romera. the end.

“i love you, zeth. i love you.” he closes his eyes and nods, as though suddenly overcome with relief. when he opens his eyes again, staring straight into me, into my heart, into my soul, he says something i never thought he would. his words are so quiet, so softly imparted, as though they’re the darkest of secrets, that i can barely make them out. “and i love you, angry girl. i really do.”

I really liked this series. I read all six books back to back and really felt dropped in to this world. It fizzled out for me at the end. I never felt like reading was a chore, but it stopped compelling me at some point around book five or six.

Understandable, since this is one of Callie Hart’s earlier series. I think her Dirty Nasty Freaks series is fantastic— her growth is notable. That series has all of the fat trimmed, every detail is impactful and the characters are more everything— more interesting, more nuanced, more complex, darker, and sexier. It’s the only series that has come close to embodying the same vibe as S.T. Abby’s iconic Mindfuck series. And y’all know that is high fucking praise.

Essentially, I don’t regret reading the Blood & Roses series, but I wouldn’t jump to recommend it the way I would with Dirty Nasty Freaks.

Un poil déçue car le livre porte plus sur les aventures du couple pour se déguerpir de leurs soucis, plus que sur leur romance (qui devient très gentillette d'ailleurs).
Mais j'ai aimé la série et j'espère que l'éditeur continuera à traduire l'auteur, j'ai bien envie de lire l'histoire de Rebel.

I will miss this story. The third part was very intense in general, very painful and very emotional. I had some suspicions so I guess I was ready for death, but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Poor girl who is no longer invisible. Overall, of course, 30% to the end is a solid fairy tale when all the bad guys died, all the heroes or let's call them antiheroes achieved justice and happy ending, and of course it's the most cheesy happy ending as it could be. But for some reason, in this particular case, it doesn't bother me. It looks relevant to me. After all bad things they finally find their happy place. Zeth and Sloane make it. It was really nice to watch characters development. In the third book, Sloane finally stopped pissing me off, she became much stronger and finally decided what she want. Zeth stopped being emo girl with bipolar, cause now he doesn't just bang on the table and scream that he will kill everyone if anyone touches Sloane, but he actually does something. It was really painful to watch him after Lacey's death, but he coped. Honestly, after the first two books, I was ready for him to have another relapse of insecurity and that he will decide that he is too dangerous to be with Sloane. But thank God we didn't get that. We got our cheesy but sweet happy ending.

This instalment was such a great adventure, the plot thickens and secrets are uncovered, people are showing their true colours, Sloane and Zeth have to navigate rough seas and their bond grows stronger and stronger. They struggle with accepting uncomfortable truths, they slowly find their way to get familiar with their newfound identities. Their development has bumps and turns, their path is filled with insidious enemies.

The side characters accompanying Zeth and Sloane are just as fascinating, I’m very used to this author being so good at incorporating more than just the main characters in her stories. Her sides are always gifted with interesting traits and personalities, it’s impossible not to be fully invested in them.

Callie doesn’t hold back as she guides us into this thrilling last instalment of an unforgettable series.
Heartbreak and healing mark an extraordinary journey, Sloane and Zeth have to face unexpected challenges. Their growth and development will be a hard task to complete.

Zeth is exceptionally beautiful, his flaws and intricacies make him an hero that will forever be among my most beloved characters and favourite heroes. He fought so hard, he never stopped caring and protecting, his past was such a dark ghost who never let him go. The work he put into his growth and the sacrifices he made are a testament to how wonderful he is, there is no length he won’t go in order to keep safe his angry girl and family.

I loved Sloane’s strength and her courage, she had a hard time to adjust to her new reality, she never stopped trusting in her love, she never wavered in her loyalty. Despite her anger and resentment she was able to overcome her bitterness and acknowledge that things aren’t always what they seem.

If you’re reading this series and you haven’t read Rebel’s story I strongly recommend you read it. I know Sophia may seem difficult to like but there is so much behind her story.

I've loved this series and this was a great end to it (altho I wish it'd been a bit more stretched out about Charlie's demise, but still, absolutely loved the action and intrigue and romance and... yeah. Great ending!

This was the perfect ending to the series. I loved every second of it. Zeth and Sloane's relationship is amazing and I love them so much.
When Lacy died it broke my heart thoughhhh 😭 I wish she could have lived. She was my favourite character and she deserved better!

This was such an amazing series to read! I gave it 4 stars only because I felt the ending was really dragged out. Some sentences felt like fillers and didn't need to be there. All in all I highly suggest this book to anyone that loves a little chaos and romance in their books!

I picked this series up because HD Carlton always mentions it as her favorite series. I had very high hopes that her recommendation would not let me down and I was right. I inhaled this series. I honestly loved every single thing about it.

Zeth is the quintessential dark romance anti-hero with a dark past, a tough exterior and a massive soft spot for his heroine. I love the complexities of his character and how his story continued to build. We learned more and more about him as the series went on and each piece that fell into place made me love him even more. Sloane is a certified badass and I love how she grew into herself throughout the series.

These books honestly had everything - action, romance, spice, a captivating plot, TONS of emotion (I ugly cried several times) and truly amazing side characters to keep you engaged in the story. I can't wait to read every single book in this universe and really hope Callie never stops writing these characters. She has become and insta-buy author for me and I'm so unbelievably happy I discovered her!

Un troisième tome qui m’a complètement transporté et que je n’ai pas pu reposer avant de connaitre la fin de l’histoire de Sloane et Zeth.

Dans ce troisième tome, nos deux protagonistes ne vont pas s’ennuyer un seul instant. Les événements continuent de s’enchaîner et ne laissent aucun moment de répit une fois de plus. J’ai ressenti tellement d’émotions dans ce livre que je ne peux pas toutes les décrire. J’ai ris, souffert, pleurer…mais j’ai surtout aimé. Sloane et Zeth continue d’avancer dans leurs relations. J’ai adoré les changements qui s’opèrent sur Zeth. Cet homme est fort aussi bien physiquement que mentalement et le fait qu’il devienne un pilier pour Sloane et qu’elle devienne son pilier est tout simplement beau quand on connaît le passé de Zeth. Il y a énormément de révélations dans ce tome, les masques tombent et les secrets sont enfin révélés. Malheureusement, cela a un impact sur nos personnages et j’ai vraiment eu beaucoup de peine pour eux à certains moments de l’histoire.

L’auteure a su une fois de plus m’épater par sa manière de gérer son intrigue et les événements. Je n’ai rien vu arrivé comme dans les autres tomes. J’ai vraiment adoré ce côté suspense de l’histoire. Je me suis également beaucoup attaché aux personnages secondaires et savoir que l’auteure va écrire des spin-offs sur certains est une très très bonne nouvelle, j’ai hâte de les lire.

Une série qui a été un véritable coup de cœur. L’histoire de Sloane et Zeth est sombre mais belle également. Tout est présent dans ce livre pour rendre votre lecture addictive. Laissez-vous embarquer dans l’univers de Zeth et lâchez prise, ce n’en sera que meilleur !!!
