Andrew thought that he was following his heart when he decided to pack up and move to New York City and live on the streets as inspiration for a book. When he meets Rory Ingalls and begins to fall in love with the mysterious artist and musician, Andrew realizes that sometimes, there is more to life than just trying to be the next big thing.

After reading my own comments I am going to shelve this book. Maybe I'll come back someday, especially if the author does a rewrite to tighten the plot and edit.
The author contacted me in the best of ways asking for feedback on her book as her beta/test group had a different reaction then we readers in the real world. I have the up most respect for her in attempting to better understand her readers. With that attitude she will only continue to improve.
honestly, i am glad i picked this up as a freebie over at Amazon but...
honestly, i cannot get past page 61 and it has been days already and...
honestly, i am giving up this book for now and i will just give it a rating of one star so...
honestly, for a book that deals with an author and his New York adventure to gather material for his next bestseller, i was expecting the writing to be really good and more literary in approach but it fell short - no shorter, uhmmm shortest?...
lastly and honestly - i really am sorry but the game is over for me!
DNF. I'm still uncertain as to whether I've completely given up on this book, but it is taking FOREVER to pick up. In my opinion there's just too much detail about the mundane day-to-day things the main character is doing that I found myself skipping pages and just reading the dialogue, and by this time I was about 15% into it! I just don't have the motivation to continue
3.5 stars - I think I would have liked it more if there would have been a conflict, especially when he was on the streets but he comes away pretty much unscathed.
