Percival Blue, badgered by his family for years to change his ways, finally, FINALLY, began to see the light. But for all the effort he put into mending his ways, he couldn’t get rid of a wandering spirit brought on by spending time with his brother-in-law Bart Dalton and his wife Bonnie, Percy’s sister, who more often than not, liked to go on excursions of their own. Which begged the question, should Percy wander as far as California to see if he could find his place in the world? After all, he had nothing in Texas that could keep him from going … Adele Brown was always considered a nice girl, and bad things didn’t happen to nice girls, right? Unfortunately, “bad” found her, and chased her through the streets of Beckham, Massachusetts one night, and only because she’d been kidnapped, and then escaped! Fleeing to the one person who might help, she soon found herself on a train bound for Texas and the one man who could protect her from the evil that tried to claim her. The only problem was, he didn’t want anything to do with her. How was she going to survive without Percival Blue’s protection? Fortunately for her, he gave it, in name only, on a marriage certificate. The rest was up to her. How was she to convince him they could be more than a couple of names on a piece of paper before he insisted they get an annulment? With the help of his family, she was about to find out.
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
What a wonderful ending to this series! But luckily looks like more may be coming. I hope so. This is one of the best series I have read! I encourage people to read it. And I am looking forward to reading more about that surprise at the end. Get Thaddeus!
Percy the last of the Blue brothers to get married. Percy is tricked to go into the train station and pick up a package, he doesn't know that the package is a mail order bride for him.
This is the story of Percy and Adele. She is the only girl known to escape from the Deacons. Percy was set up to marry her but was not told. Eventually, everything works out, there is an epilogue, which e!iminates some people and brings back others.
This was a nice read by Kit Morgan. It is book seven of the Dalton Brides and another woman has escaped the clutches of men who wanted her for slavery. Yet after she escapes she marries Percy as a mail order bride even though he did not order a bride. An enjoyable read.
This was a truly wonderful read. I loved Adele and Percy, especially when Percy stared acting like a man and not a scared boy. He is perfect for Adele.
Adele us sent to the Dalton ranch after she escaped from the deacons. Percy, the last unmarried Blue brother, was sent to pick her up. You can imagine his surprise when he found out that she was his mail order bride. When the Pastor came to marry him he was so confused that he didn't know what to do, especially when another man who overheard him wanted to t s keep her. Percy reluctantly marries her. What happens from their is what makes this so memorable. Will he keep her for his wife or get t he marriage annulled as he keeps threatening. The story takes a turn when the Deacons show up with a group of low life's and kidnaps her and the children. This is a good story and keeps in line with the others in the series.
I had enjoyed this series! Throughout this series I have found there are so many other series that tie in with overlapping characters and I love it. Though trying to piece all the different things I should read to get the whole story is frustrating, kinda wish I could find a guide to follow, otherwise it was great! now off to find more to read! Really hoping one these days I find a story that takes down Mr. Slade! That would make my day!
Great job Kit Morgan! And a teaser for the next book.... OMG! Ok, what have you 3 lovely ladies got cooked up for all of your devoted fans? Books 5, 6 &7 were absolutely fantastic. LOVED THEM!
