I received this through Audiobook Boom in exchange for a fair review.
The reader, Shoshana Frank, does a decent job with a passable Texan accent for Josh.
Rachel and Josh.
They meet again at the rehearsal for Sam's (Josh's sister) wedding in Italy. Rachel knows she is nothing like the women she sees photographed with him. When she was a teen and best friends with Sam, she crushed on him. Now he's a successful billionaire with a jet set life. But perhaps Josh isn't as oblivious to her after all...
It's a pretty predictable read. I just finished the author's book, Arrogant Neighbor and enjoyed it quite a bit. So I was a little disappointed with the rather flat story in this one. Mind you, it is only 1/3 the length of the other book.
So if you are looking for a safe, predictable read/listen, this is a good option.
I do plan to read more by this author.

Forbidden Love..
I like Forbidden Love Stories and this one did not disappoint.
I also liked the friendship between Rachel and Sam.
Rachel has had a secret crush on Sam's brother since she was a teenager but has managed to stay away from him out of respect for her friendship with Sam.
During Sam's gorgeous marriage in Italy, sparks fly and Rachel finds it harder to stay away from the object of her affection.
I liked the characters and none of them annoyed me.
I wish the story was a little longer and little less predictable.
Overall, this book was a cute and quirky Decent Read filled with Romance.
Shoshana Franck did well with the narration.

I love novellas like this. This story brings Rachel and Josh together at Josh's sister's wedding in Tuscany. There is a lingering attraction which we learn is from their teenage years. This sweet romance ignites and becomes hot. When tragedy hits them, we get to see if their years long love is able to survive as well as if Josh's sister, Sam will be alright with her best friend and billionaire brother are together. Give it a read, it will make you smile.
Narration by Shoshana Franck is always a welcome listen. Her voice is warm and sexy. You are able to tell which character is speaking, which to me is key for audio and her male vs female voices are spot on.

The thing about best friends is, you can talk to them about most anything. Except when your best friend has a hot sexy brother that you have always had a crush on. Rachel hasn't seen Josh for years and now that her best friend Sam is getting married, he will be there.
Watching Rachel see Josh again was like watching your crush appear before you with lots of lovely memories. Wishing and hoping. Josh seems aloof at first but then kisses Rachel ....wow . To see their relationship unfold was beautiful and then secrets, hopes and dreams revealed.
Loved this full novella , although wished it were longer.

Good Book
This book was good. Too, bad it wasn't longer. Will read, more of her books. When you find your soul mate, it will be forever.
