I feel like this is like a routine, I finish a volume every night and the next day I write a review. I feel like if I don't so this, I am missing a huge part of my day and it's really weird, but I like it. I had a lot of fun with this volume, I love how the characters are slowly realizing how they feel about different things. It is interesting to learn more about each of the characters.

Humans will wither away if they're always alone. The only remedy would be to seek out other people.

Shizuku is a studybug who thinks of studying as her first priority. Haru is a guy who got suspended on the first day of school and hasn't returned since then. Shizuku was given the job to take Haru's homework to him and convince him to come back to school. Ever since these two met, they felt a connection and felt comfortable. They felt like they were more confident and happy when they were with each other. But they feel confused of how they feel for each other. Slowly the characters find themselves and others around them to be a positive impact on their life.

I love how Haru and Shizuku drive each other crazy!


Shizuku is super cute and as the volumes go on, I can't help but feel so happy for her. She has so many good friends now and her social life is awesome. Haru is great as well, but I want to learn more about his character. This volume showed a little bit of Haru's life and it was interesting and I hope to learn more about him. His brother is someone that I feel might hurt him though, so I hope nothing bad happens. Sasayan is a great character, he looks out for his friends, especially Natsume. Natsume is strong and I hope that she is doing alright. Yamaken is awesome, I laugh so much when he shows up. Ooshima is such an amazing girl, I love how she supports Haru even though she feels for him.

The bonds between all of the characters just keep getting stronger and stronger. I love how realistic most of this series is. There are so many cheesy moments, but at the same time, I am enjoying it! The pacing is amazing as well, I love how perfect it is! The plot just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to read more. I don't know where this series is taking me, but I love it so I don't care!

I recommend this series to everyone! Read it!

NO, THIS IS MY FAVE VOLUME

I love just how supportive Shizuku's mother is with her daughter's love life, I thought she was going to get cranky or something lol. She was a real sweetheart! My heart literally gave up when she sent Shizuku a cellular phone!! And Shizuku running full of excitement (finally!! another expression she's able to use) calling out to Haru to have him memorize her number!! Why are you doing this to me?! It was nothing but wholesome! Yamaken finally trying to pursue Shizuku and realizing it was himself that was the problem all along because he's always been in denial. And I love just how he lose himself whenever Shizuku's around. It's so crazy. And Mitchan rejecting Natsume, safe at last! I've been itching to get to that part so that she can finally move on! I knew he was gonna rejected her!! Finally! And Haru being alone in their second year (lol because he was assigned to another section!) I only hope he finally spread his wings and flies! After all, they keep changing. I love how these characters are finally growing, even if it's just in the slightest. Augh, this volume is everything!!

Me pasa mucho que me terminan gustando más los secundarios que la pareja principal y acá Ooshima y Yamaken me agradan más haha.

Ooshima aceptó que Haru no está ni estará interesado en ella y eso está chido, al final pudo expresar sus sentimientos que es lo que le importaba a ella.

Yamaken, por otro lado, va a hacer su luchita para que Shizuku muestre interés en ella y si bien hasta acá se siente el fracaso de esa misión, no quita que ambos son muy compatibles y pueden conversar bien, sentimientos de lado. Involuntariamente, Yamaken es bueno escuchando y dando consejos a Shizuku, cosa que ella aprecia porque Asako no sirve para eso igual que Haru.

Series review! 5/5!

I've gotten fed up with tsundere characters so I went out to test/read more of this other subtype known as kuudere (google: kuu "cool" + dere "lovestruck"; literally: cold and emotionless characters that slowly show their feelings). A quick google search of top rated/favorited ones included this (and Akuma to Love Song, which I stopped reading a loooong way back and must re-read again soon) so I did.

And I am pleased. Very pleased. One of the reasons why I stopped reading shoujo mangas is because of MCs that bottle everything up. I don't like it when there's a problem, but there's also an easy solution for that -- such as talking. Like c'mon, talk it over, dudes.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun was such a breath of fresh air from all that mess. It was light, fluffy, and giddy. It was exactly what I was looking for and it took off some stress from studying during this recently concluded exam week (sidenote: fingers crossed, o pls let me pass them all). The whole story was fun; I had a blast. I have no complaints about the characters either. They're all very relatable and lovely, and it was nice seeing them all interact. Plus, there's a chicken, which I found very amusing. Talk about novel ideas for a pet. Ha.

Poor Asako. I knew something like that was going to happen. Even though she tried her best, Micchan has no place for her in his heart. *sniff sniff* *tears* She was left heartbroken. *waaahh!* (｡T ω T｡)
Didn't know Micchan could fight with Haru like that. Damn!
Anyway, Spring has come and comes the spring break, after that second year starts. New character got introduced, Andou the driver. TBH in my head Andou sounds like the Black Butler Sebastian, because he addresses Haru as 'Young Master'. hehe!
Haru's love rival Yamaken is making his moves on Shizuku. But no problem, Shizuku has place for Haru and Haru alone in her heart. And Haru feels the same for her. (⌒▽⌒)♡ Eeekk! She gets her first cellphone!! (Sawako from Kimi ni Todoke had a similar situation and her father gifted her a cellphone, here Shizuka's mother gifts her a cellophone)
Asako... I feel so sad for her but atleast she passed her exams. phew!
Second year starts and Haru gets separated from the gang. No worries! Ooshima is in his class... oh wait, she got rejected by him... ~awkward~ but they patch things up and become friends. Yaaay!
Why is Andou following and getting in Haru's nerves!! I already hate this guy! (￢_￢;)
Next volume a new character (it's a girl!) Gets introduced! Her name is Iyo Yamaguchi. Let's see what she brings with her. (*¯︶¯*)

Tras el beso-confesión de Mitzi, Haru y Mitzi, como que siguen igual que antes.

Yoshida y Natsume reciben respuesta a sus declaraciones de amor, Yoshida pues ya se lo esperaba, pero a NAtsume si le pega feo

Yamaken deja entrever que Mitzi le gusta, aunque logra salvar la situación, mm será que esto pronto se vuelva

Pobre Haru, primero la familia le enjareta un mayordomo, y luego en la escuela lo mandan a otro salón, donde solo conoce a Yoshida, a quien le tiene miedo por lo de la declaración, y el resto de los alumnos le tiene miedo.

i’m so glad Haru and Mitty are finally going out properly ahhhhhh
i get that Mitty wants to be at the top but it’s kinda annoying when she gets mad at Haru just cause he’s able to beat her, like she should praise him regardless because he literally did nothing wrong😭
Yamaken is such a shithead saying that Haru and Ooshima went on a date in front of Mitty i’m CREASING💀

chapter 26:
Micchan’s rejection is breaking my heart bc it’s so embarrassing😭😭 girlie needs to stop, she’s a child in comparison to him (now that i knew they’re actual ages and age gap💀)
Haru is being so unreasonable because Micchan is an adult and can’t be dating a high schooler but even if she wasn’t a high schooler and he didn’t have feelings for her, it’s better to tell her than lead her on so????

Complaint: for some reason, I got a pretty flawed copy of this book, with the pages cropped a little too high, and not enough space left in the binding...so some of the dialogue bubbles were really hard to read. I had to basically pry the binding apart to try to peer in far enough to see what was going on. (Not something that will be great for this volume's longevity.) I hope the rest of the series wasn't printed like this.

Beyond those physical issues, the storytelling was great. I haven't loved Oshima's pointless crush on Haru, but I did appreciate her taking the courage to finally confess to him, despite knowing she would be rejected. And I did really, really like that Haru was upset about losing her friendship as a result. Now that they're in a class together, away from Mitty and the others, they need that friendship, and I'm glad they're recovering it.

Mitchan rejecting Natsume was good, too, especially with Haru's protective reaction. The friendships are so great, and I like that so many of them can be friends across gender without jealousy cropping up.

Continue to love Yamaken. Mitty really thinks of him as her study buddy, and Haru is just going to have to get over his jealousy on that count...hopefully. I really don't want them to stop talking to each other when Yamaken finally manages to get over his agonizing and confess.

Ando is an interesting character...I'm not sure I understand Haru's family at all. If he didn't know he had parents until he was older, but he wasn't taken in by his aunt until he was in junior high, who was raising him when he was a kid? Just the staff?

Lots of good stuff in this volume. Just wish I could've actually seen all the stupid speech bubbles.

SINOPSIS:
En este volumen Natsume san recibe la respuesta de Micchan y resulta ser rechazada.
Por otra parte, Haru también rechaza a Ooshima y decide una vez más tratar de aclarar sus sentimientos hacia Shizuku, pero esto no termina ahí; pues Yamaken no piensa darse por vencido y seguirá tras Shizuku como perrito faldero.

OPINIÓN:
Este tomo se me pasó volando, no podía esperar para leer el siguiente, todo de este tomo me gusto, la forma que ocurrieron varias situaciones, las emociones que me hizo sentir y la emoción de ver las respuestas de Micchan y Haru.
Otra parte que amé, fue el cómo Haru defendió a Natsume y se puso frente a Micchan para que no volviera a lastimar a su amiga con sus palabras y rechazos.

No tengo nada más que decir, creo que es otro de mis tomos favoritos y realmente tengo sentimientos encontrados; ya que quiero terminar el manga para saber cómo concluye pero a la vez no quiero dejar ir a mis personajes y sobre todo a Haru…
En fin , LO AME.

Los corazones pueden cambiar o romperse, después de San Valentín las confesiones necesitan una respuesta y hoy pudimos precisar esos corazones romperse, la escuela termina y las vacaciones duraron muy poco con una casi confesión de un chico que lo interrumpieron en la casa, pues el amado de ella había vuelta.

Un nuevo año empieza para nuestros protagonistas, con un personaje que esta a lado de Haru diciéndole que vuelva a casa principal con su padre, ahora Haru debe empezar con nuevos compañeros y aprender a que aunque hayas roto un corazón, siempre tendrás el amor de todos y siempre pueden ser buenos amigos.

Adoro este manga, ya quiero ver que más pasa, pues la relación de Shizuku y Haru ya es un hecho.

Buenas lecturas les deseo.

Had fun reading another volume of the series.
The efforts put by the characters to attain their goals were praiseworthy, irrespective of the outcomes.
Shizuku and Asako have been vocal about what's on their minds. It would be good if Haru (a little more), Yamaken and Sasayan also do the same (though it needs a lot of courage and is easier said than done), to at least resolve their conflicted minds and finally progress in their relationships or move on from what cannot be.

I loved the art in this volume specially. The reactions and expressions were priceless and said volumes.
Also enjoyed the amusing epilogues at the end of each chapter.

This one was pretty dramatic.

The love triangles are semi-annoying, but they get dealt with in an okay manner so I’m okay with it for now. A few of the couples are pretty cute together even though I don’t want them together. If they do get together, it’ll be interesting but sad for the other person.
• I kind of wanted to see the big fight but that’s fine. The aftermath is pretty interesting.
• The cheek kiss near the end and the line said after it was literally so amazing.

The gang has gone through spring break and now are back as sophomores!! Or second years!! Haru has this new bodyguard that won’t leave him alone because his dad wants him back at his rich house but Haru is having none of that!! Haru was also transferred into a new class! Haru and Shizuku are too endearing to get angry over their snail like pace lol! So far it’s been an enjoyable experience reading this series.

La verdad es que este tomo me lo he terminado en tan poco tiempo que me sorprendió, ya que la historia no me enganchaba tanto como para dejarme pegada a la pantalla; pero este tomo lo cambió todo, las cosas empezaron a ponerse buenas, empecé a conectarme más con los personajes y joder... hay cosas que nunca imaginé.
Siento que este manga se pondrá cada vez mejor.

Przerywam tę serię. Nie chce mi się tego czytać. Manga miała cień potencjału, ale okazała się nudna i wtórna. Romans był nijaki, oboje najpierw mówią, że kochają drugą osobę, a potem nagle stwierdzają, że jednak nie.
To nie jest najgorsza manga, jaką widziałam. Ale nie widzę sensu w czytaniu jej dalej, skoro tak bardzo mnie nie rusza.

Haru and Shizuku are....kind of improving but still both pretty selfish.

I hope Haru doesn't leave to go with the Dad he never knew and doesn't like, just because he got switched to Class A instead of staying in Class B with everyone else.

los personajes están avanzando poco a poco, aunque a cierto punto no veo el chiste del "triángulo amoroso" cuándo Yamaken ni siquiera tendrá una oportunidad, aunque debería, sigo pensando que él es mejor candidato para Shizuku que Haru.

Picked up manga here after the anime ended. Seems like the anime missed a few things (of course) but almost completely consistent. Also extremely cute to see the characters animated.
