I was expecting something different when I picked up 'The Calendar Game' but what I got was exactly what I needed. I got a story that completely spoke to me and a character I could totally relate to. I have been in a bit of a funk lately and not knowing where I'm going. I don't know why but having Ronnie go through a life crisis was reassuring.

Ronnie's life seems to be back on track after the events of 'The Alphabet Game' and she seems to be heading up the aisle with her boyfriend, Colin. Unfortunately, revelations by Colin makes her question her life and those in it. She decides on a plan: fix one area of her life each month and she will be in a position to be the strong, confident Ronnie of old. Ronnie's frustration as she undertakes this challenge is clear as every time she feels that she is making strides, outside forces bring her back down. With everybody looking out for themselves, it becomes difficult for Ronnie to know who to trust.

This was Ronnie all grown-up, dealing with the day to day challenges that can sometimes get overwhelming and bring you down. Everyone can learn something from Ronnie in finding the courage t pick yourself up and dust yourself down.

I absolutely love Ronnie and her sassy British attitude. I had loads of moments of laughing out loud with her Britishisms, Andie M. Long has done it again with her superb writing style. Thank you for writing Ronnie's story.

I voluntarily read a copy of this book.
This is the companion novel to Alphabet Game. I am stoked that Ronnie has her own story. Ronnie’s personality and how she speaks her mind is truly entertaining.
This is a humorous, heart-warming story, about a journey of self discovery. This is an awesome storyline, and I highly recommend Andie’s work for all.

I loved everything about this book! We met Ronnie in Andie's " The Alphabet a Games" and I always felt that there was much more to her and that she was a little musunderstood. Ronnie is a fantastic character, she's funny, witty, smart, sassy, brave and she's not afraid to go after what she want. Sometimes the way she goes about it is not the best but......you can't blame a girl for trying! After all she is full of good intntions unless of course you cross her.........she's a master of revenge! This story is a real page turner, fast paced, funny, witty, intriguing and has a good dose of angst. I found myself laughing at loud, gigging but also shed a few tears. Ronnie's journey of self discovery is full on and will have you laughing, crying and cheering her on. Ronnie discovers that sometimes the grass is greener on the other side!!! So if you are looking for a fun, sexy and intriguing read were the characters are great and the story is brilliantly written, look no further! I look forward to reading Andie's next book Alphabet Wedding!!

The Calendar game by Andie M. Long an astounding five-star read. This is book two in the Alpha series, and the series just gets better and better, I can’t wait to read the Alphabet wedding, the next book in the series. Andie M. Long writes such funny, tongue in cheek, lovable characters such as Veronica Chelsea Huntington-Jones or Ronnie as most people know her, we met her in the Alphabet games as the crazy, brilliant best friend and neighbour of Stella.
When Ronnie sees a tiffany box from her Boyfriend Col in the pile of Christmas presents she thinks it’s an engagement ring, Ronnie gets a big shock and disappointment when it’s not and it makes her re-evaluate her life. After some major upheavals during the last year, from rehab to saving herself, Col and Stella from kidnapping and needs to find herself again, so she decides to set herself a challenge each month to accomplish a goal.
As the months go on Ronnie develops a new self, and after she has a memorable moment on day time TV she starts to get a celebrity notoriety and this grabs the attention of someone she met previously in Rehab, and possibly tried to kill her (Jurys still out on that one) Ex-footballer Harry Taylor, whom tries everything to get his face in the papers.
Will there be more drama in the calendar game than the alphabet game? Only time will tell. Will Ronnie get her happy ever after? Is Col the one for her? or will his secret be too much for her to deal with? With drama galore and backstabbing and intrigue at every corner this is a thrilling and laugh out loud read from the first page to the last.

Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie what a wonderful breath of fresh air you are.

I read the Calendar Game whilst I was in a book rut and desperately in need of some light relief, life was hectic and digging into something dark and moody was not an option, I needed funny and boy did this deliver!

I first discovered Andie's work with the alphabet game and fell in love with her characters. Stella and Gabe were hot and Ronnie was a hoot! She's scatty, genuine and hilariously funny. Her give no s*** attitude had me laughing out loud a lot. I needed more Ronnie!

It's safe to say I was a little excited when I heard Ronnie's story was up next. We start the Calendar Game with a happy almost settled (as settled as she can be) Ronnie but then she discovers boyfriend Col's big secret and the life she thought was all mapped out is suddenly turned upside down. How will she react? Where will she go from here? It's safe to say she's had a pretty crazy life so far can she fight anymore? Ronnie is nothing if not resilient though and if life threw lemon's she would be the girl asking for the salt and tequila. Ronnie's ability to bounce back is refreshing, her one liners are epic and her lady garden is the envy of everyone.

I loved how easy to read this book was and the light relief it gave me from the craziness of life.

5 hilariously funny stars.

We catch up with Ronnie from the Alphabet Game. Her best friend Stella has recently moved to New York and Ronnie is awakened to the fact how empty her world really is. A society girl, who has led a wild life so far, Ronnie re-evaluates her life and she tasks herself with playing the Calendar game; one which will make her look at every aspect of her life, every month of the year.

A funny, heartwarming story of self discovery. From her rocky relationship with Col, to the complex connection that Ronnie has with Harry, sexual chemistry bubbles throughout and I just love the unique relationship that she has with nine year old, Sam. I went from being horrified that Ronnie was making the wrong decision regarding her love life, to actually being satisfied with how it all ends.

A fabulous enjoyable easy read!

I am so glad Ronnie got her own book, it really was AMAZING !!!!!! I laughed so hard and often in places that i had to stop reading, some of the things that Ronnie does and says are so funny it's unreal !! But saying that i also felt sorry for her at times too, all the problems she went through in The Alphabet Game still play a HUGE part of her life forcing her to decide she needs to make some life changes, she's sick of people treating her like a bimbo, and lying to her and this book show what she goes through to find her REAL self !!! Brilliant book with some shocking twists and awesome laughs too xx LOVED IT !!

Absolutely Hysterical...

Oh Ronnie! What a fabulously written story. The Calendar Game journals Ronnie's life over the course of a year. She goes from a spoiled rich girl to a responsible woman, but still remains true to herself. Ronnie's personality reminds me so much of my own. She's uncensored and speaks her mind... I loved it! In the end, I think Ronnie truly found her happy ending. I'm still laughing about the crazy situations in this book. Wow, just wow!

This story I loved a hundred times over the Alphabet Game. This story seemed much more thought out, organised and less rushed. Ronnie is my absolute favorite character and I loved watching her evolve. Would love to see something else on her!

Ronnie is dating Col but Col has been keeping a couple of really important secrets from her for over a year, Ronnie doesnt think they are forgivable so they go on their on and off again relationship. Ronnie decides that since the Alphabet Game worked so well for her best friend that she would try the Calendar Game to help get her life on track the way she wants it one month at a time. Harry a guy that Ronnie meet in Rehab always seems to be where she is along with the paparazzi which causes her many problems with Col.

What I enjoyed most about The Calendar Game is watching a woman who is kinda on the wild side want to do better for herself and to get her life in order, there is lots of hilarious moments with Ronnie and her adventures on her way to her new her. I enjoyed how Harry was always around for her even when her boyfriend wouldnt be, how he would show up to help her in her crazy moments. Watching a love story unfold but not knowing who she would end up with in the end. Seeing true colors of those around her come to light on who is true and who is fake.

This is another great Andie book, I read it in a day as I couldnt put it down, I had to know what would become of Ronnie with her new life goals and who would be her forever love. This book has a woman who was always wild growing up and never really grew up but now wants to have that change to be an true adult and take care of her responsibilities, a man who loves her but wont go with her to events and hasnt been honest about himself, another man who is a man-whore but seems to always show up for her on good terms as well as his own, A love story with a happily ever after. If you like stories like this, then The Calendar Game is a must!

Ronnie's journey is full twists

Poor Ronnie has trouble with men and friends, but finds herself on her journey. A year to find out who she was, with a task formulated for each month. A career that changes from TV personality to YouTube, and several others, with a constant of gardening. I personally would like to see more of everybody, because they are fun people.

This story was different than I thought it would be and I'm pleasantly surprised at how glad I am that it is. Drama, emotion, angst and sexiness. I really enjoyed the game our girl played to get her life on track and although she loses someone she thought she loved, she gains someone so much better for her.

This copy given in exchange for an honest review.

The Calendar Game is the next instalment to The Alphabet Game Series and this time it focuses on Stella's best mate Ronnie. I have been waiting anxiously for Ronnie's story as I loved her in The Alphabet Game. The story continues on from the end of The Alphabet Game and focuses on what happens after her stint in rehab to finding out why she is the way that she is. Ronnie undertakes a journey of self discovery which really makes her take a long good look at herself and with help from a few people she starts to slowly make progress. She endures a good few bumps in the road but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and this is definitely the case for Ronnie just it takes her longer to realise this. There are quite a few funny moments in this book and I found myself laughing out loud at inappropriate times and I loved how she didn't have a filter and that made me love the character more. There are a few suprises one which was a massive well I didn't see that coming and one which I absolutely loved and found that yes it was meant to be right from the start. I really enjoyed reading Ronnie's story and I can't wait to read what is next in store for her.

Ronnie is a twenty-four year old woman who has found her life in shambles. She becomes an overnight celebrity, something she thought she'd enjoy, but her newfound notoriety comes with its own set of challenges. Ronnie needs to grow up, and decide what it is she truly wants, and who she wants to be.

This book was better than "The Alphabet Game". It was more unpredictable, which made me want to keep reading to find out what would happen. I love the way it turned out!

Ronnie had to have her own story. She is the lovable, crazy best friend of Stella from the Alphabet game. Stella is now in NY and Ronnie is missing her best friend. She has now been with Col for a year and his Christmas surprise is not the proposal she was hoping for, but rather to tell her that he lied for a year pretending he was poor, when he is in fact the son of a billionaire. This sets Ronnie on a path to self discovery where each month of the following year, she sets herself goals to achieve. In a hilarious turn of events, things don't go quite according to plan and she finds herself with her own tv segment, as well as designing the garden of the man she thought tried to kill her, ex-footballer Harry Taylor. My other favourite character was eight year old Sam, Ronnie's other best friend, a little swearing pottymouth who gave great advice. Her revenge schemes has me laughing so hard I nearly cried. Loved Ronnie's story, she was an absolute gem.

Ronnie is that fun, crazy, over-the-top friend who always seems to find trouble. After a trip to rehab, she is working diligently to pull her life together, especially after the “no proposal” Christmas. She is shocked when Col wants to move in together into an extravagant penthouse, yep, he lied about having money to her so she breaks up with him. This begins her journey of self-discovery and launches the calendar game, to focus on one thing each month to work on in her life. I love how she takes charge of her life, focusing on her landscape/gardening classes and the projects required to finish her courses. This gave her a new confidence and opened her up to meeting some new people. She also falls into a TV job that is perfect for her and a lot of fun. Add in some man troubles, Col continues to pursue her while Harry, a fellow rehab attendee, returns to her life and is sex on a stick. Of course, it’s Ronnie’s crazy life so there are several pitfalls and roadblocks along the way. Put I had so much fun being a part of her journey and experiencing every crazy, heart felt moment.

At the beginning I liked the book, then not so much, afterwards I liked it again etc.
Some parts were really funny, other parts were a bit surreal and not so appealing, as Ronnie, I liked her but at tiny bits. She's too much certain times!
The style of the book is ok, but I found some typos and a big mistake: Sam is 8, a few weeks later he's 11, and at the end of the book it's his birthday and he turns 9. Come on! The last thing: "apologize" has a "z"!
