Wanted to enjoy this more than I did. I have no problem with erotica, and this definitely is that, but I feel like it fell off after that first chapter. I was intrigued with Fable and wanted to see what would happen between her and the firefighter but it got weird quick. Too much stalking and aggression that really did not read as sapphic at all. The firefighter, who is butch, was very much written as if she were a man and that made it really hard to enjoy. Butch women are not men. And, I don't recall her character getting off at all which was strange. This read like the fantasy of a woman who has never had sex with another woman, or treats women sexually the way a man does.
