Long ago when she was fresh out of high school and too young to know better, Awai Steele married a brutal man. Once she escaped him she created a new life for herself, vowing never to be dominated by any man. Now she runs a successful corporation and is known in business circles as a ball-buster, the woman with brass ovaries. And in her secret life as a Dominatrix, she's known as Mistress.

But when Ty, King of Clubs, spirits Awai away to a magical world, the sexy muscle-bound rogue of a man literally has her tied in knots. Awai finds that being the King's submissive definitely has its advantages, but she doesn't think she can let go of her past long enough to embrace a future with a Dominant man.

King Ty is determined to show Awai that she belongs with him, and he will do whatever it takes to make her his Queen of Clubs.

This series has been an enjoyable one. All books have ticked all the boxes for me, I mean these are erotic romance novels people. If you want a if you a novel that is complex t his series isn't for you. However if you want to escape to the sexy kingdom of tarok to be swept away by the king of hearts or one of his brothers the kings of spades, clubs or diamonds then you will enjoy these books. Just make sure you pack your collar and nipple rings if you know what I mean. These books have light bdsm themes

I have to say that as the last book that takes place in Wonderland before they move to Oz, this one feel horrible short for me.

I just want to make a note that I read these types of books for what they are intended for, a quick read, a simple and fun plot, and good raw sexy fun. I don't read them thinking they are on the New York Times best seller list I know they are for pure sexy fun.

However, with that being said. As a series I still would like a firm, solid conclusion. I know she has two more books only they take place in Oz but from the same universe as these. However, I read the first Oz book and they make very few references to what took place in the Wonderland books.

Awai was alright as a female lead. I thought as someone that survived domestic abuse the last thing she would want, was to be tied down and whipped no matter who was doing it and how gentle he was. I get the idea though, that she wanted to trust a man again and knew that this was her only way to closure. I get that, that was the running theme through the book.

I liked Ty, I liked Ty from book one when he got naughty with Alice. He's the youngest King and the most rowdy for me. But then he kinda go to 'lovey' for me. I wanted him to keep the fun, rakish side of him. But he got all sweet and tender. I'm not denying that he was a good DOM, because he was. When they were on, they were ON! I still thought the DOM/sub scenes in book one with Alice were much more hot.

Every year for the last three years, one of Awai Steele’s nieces has disappeared: first Alice, then Alexi and finally Annie. With the anniversary of her nieces’ disappearances at hand, Awai knows that this year it is her turn. For Ty, King of Clubs, the day he acquires his Queen, Awai, could not come soon enough. He longs for a mate he can train and claim as his own submissive Queen. Awai, a practicing Dominatrix, has sworn to never submit to any man again after her cruel marriage ended. Hmmm….Who’s will do you think will prevail?

What a great conclusion to this amazing series Ms. McCray has penned. Each King and his Queen have blown me away, and Ty and Awai are the cherry on the top of the cake. Ty is firm in his training, yet tender in his understanding of Awai’s fears. While Awai is dedicated in finding her nieces, she is also courageous enough to endeavor to overcome her fears of submission. Do I even need to talk about the sex? Sparks fly from the first page and don’t stop until the very end. This book is on fire. And the dungeon…Oh my God…Please spank me King Ty. LOL!!!! It ROCKS! Can I say anymore?

This book is a 4 star book. I found it just as good as the other three books, except I had to deduct a star because it doesn't work as the conclusion of a 4 book series. It needed more of an ending. I feel we are robbed of Mackela's story. She's free of the mind control. Do the women of Tarok regain their ability to bear children? Do the four kings get revenge on the king that was taking over their sisters mind now that he's weaker without her?

I hope one day we can get the epic conclusion that this series deserves.

Awai Steele escaped from an abusive marriage to become a successful business woman during the day and a leather wearing, whip cracking Dominatrix at night. For the past 3 years on the same day, one of her nieces has gone missing without a trace. This year Awai thinks she's prepared, whip in hand, for what's coming her way but she never expected the King of Clubs. Ty is ready to make Awai his queen, something that requires her complete submission. Sexually, Awai enjoys this but she'll need to give more than just her body and Ty plans to do whatever it takes to help heal her heart and make her his forever.

Once married to an abusive man, Awai has developed a tough business reputation and has absolute control in her role as a Dom. Like his brothers, Ty is a caring ruler but expects complete submission from his subjects. It's more than a power struggle between these two. Ty gives the decision to submit to Awai, earning her trust and helps her heal the wounds her ex-husband left. The relationship between Ty and Awai is very hot and I was happy their chemistry went beyond the bedroom (or sex dungeon). They're both determined, strong minded characters who know exactly what they want and they made a solid pair.

The final book in the Wonderland series wraps up the story that started in book one. Ty's sister placed a curse on the women in his and his brothers' kingdoms so they couldn't conceive and their populations were dwindling. I wouldn't call the final confrontation between the 4 brothers and their sister explosive or anything like that but there's a twist that made me think this isn't the last we'll see of the magical land of Tarok. This was a quick, sexy read that delivers pretty much every it promises in the synopsis. I'd recommend this to readers of erotica paranormal romance who don't mind BDSM elements.

The final installment of Jaymie Holland's Wonderland series. Ty the youngest brother, the king of club's time has come and he must chose a card and pick his mate. Once he sees Awai he knows its going to be tough but he will gain her trust and get her to submit to him. Because at fist glance he knew he couldn't live with put this woman.

Awai is ready for him when he comes for her. Her nieces all left without a trace a year apart from each other, The last being one year ago exactly .. She knew he would come for her and come he did. Even though he could just whisk her away with out her permission he asked her to come with him. His words, his body and his lips all promised her safety, love, great sex and domination. She was not sure, no matter how badly she wanted him if she was capable of fully trusting any one enough to fully submit to them.

The book was a short sweet sexy read. I'm not a big fan of BDSM but I enjoy Jaymie Hollands writeing style. I enjoy the trust these woman give these men and how they revial in the love the men give back. I enjoyed the little humor that's thrown in there. It was good for a wraped up story, I feel they closed the story out nicely. She left a little room if she wanted to do a spin off on another tale, she could but the story is good were it stands. I have no need to know more. The book was a quick fun read. There is a few times were I was like ok already punish her and move on, I was impatient with the story and wanted it to speed up some. But over all I enoyed the read.

When I sat down to read this book, I was antsy with excitement. It sounded just like what I love. It had all the elements in a paranormal romance that will steal my heart: passion, suspense, shifters, BDSM…..all amazing elements. I wanted to be sucked into the heart of the story, taken on a joy ride of lust and desire. I was. But, there was still a little bit missing, and I think it was because I came into the story on the 4th book, missing out on the full effect.

In Kept By Seduction, Ms. Holland tells Awai’s tale. I loved her. She’s been through hell: abuse, family disappearances, things no woman should ever go through. I truly was touched by her character. She lost her 3 nieces to kidnappings the years prior, and now she’s anticipating her time. What she’s not expecting is for her kidnapper to be a handsome-as-sin were-tiger and her mate. But, there’s one problem. He’s a Dom……and so is she.

Ty’s character is amazing! I loved every minute of his side of the story. He’s a Dom. Truly in every sense of the word. He’s passionate about his lifestyle, not abusive as lots of Doms can be. When he comes for Awai, and tries to convince her that she is queen…..the sparks fly, sure, but I loved the way he worked with her, showing her that just because she has a dominant side, doesn’t me she doesn’t have a submissive side as well. Oh my god, he was awesome. I truly loved him.

So, despite the fact that there was something missing, I still enjoyed this amazingly written story of letting go, submitting and embracing love’s seduction in all forms. Ms. Holland blended her characters perfectly with the intense BDSM element and turned out an amazing sensual story. I will be going be going back and starting this unique Fairytale series from the beginning, to truly grasp the entire story line. Bravo, Ms. Holland!

Book #4 in the Wonderland series!! Whew, I'm a slacker and got crazy behind on my reviews and I can't believe I let this one set in my TBR pile so long!!

Awai is so much like Alexi it isn't funny, those two are peas in a pod! She is a ball busting career woman scarred by her past and refuses to let anyone but her nieces close to her. She is also a dominatrix in her free time. So of course when the anniversaries of her niece's disappearances rolls around, she straps on her leather boots, grabs her whip and prepares to give "them" hell. What she didn't expect what the "them" is one hot hunk ready to make her his queen.

The last king gets to claim his mate! Ty of Clubs is the last king and brother waiting to claim his mate. Ty is the brother with a more light personality compared to his brothers. He also is the one with the most patience, he has so much and it shows in all the interactions between him and Awai. I love Ty for so many reasons, mainly because he is the big sweetheart of the bunch with an inflexible will to protect what is his.

The romance between Awai & Ty isn't as harsh or as quick as the previous stories. I felt more in sync with this book that some of the previous ones. I loved it and ate it up so quickly I was sorry to see the end. Jaymie does leave the ending open so there could be more books and if so, I'll be getting my hands on them as soon as possible!

***A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review****

This is book 4 in the Wonderland series. This is Awai & Ty’s story.
Awai Steele was once married to a horrible, brutal man who beat her and made her feel like she was worth nothing. She barely got away and now she is a very successful woman who doesn’t let a man make her feel like she like she did before- scared and afraid. And in secret she decides to take back her own in a very “dominant “way.
Awai has lost her 3 nieces thru what she believed what kidnappings and she still continues to look for them and believe she will find them someday. Awai never believed she would be kidnapped at all and that her kidnapper would be so sexy nor be so Alpha minded as he is the normal kidnapper you would expect for he is the King of Clubs and he changes into a tiger. Yum! Ty is a very complex character and he is also a Dom. There a lot of intense by-play between him and Awai at first and she definitely does not like to be told what to do nor does Ty like to have a woman not listen nor do what he says. When TY realizes this is his Queen of Clubs, he needs to get her to realize this or all could be lost. Get ready to watch the sparks come out. I loved the extended version of this original by the author. It is fantastic and I LOVE it. I wish there were more characters we could read about {hint hint}

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

The final installment of the Wonderland Series. I wanted to like this book. No really, I did. By far, this king is the most likeable of the 4 brothers. The heroine, Awai was also likeable. She had a tragic back story and you just really wanted the happy ending for her.

Despite the likable characters the story dragged. Many of the scenes felt recycled from earlier books and from earlier scenes in the same book. Yes, there was finally some closure in the ongoing story line, but by the time we got there I just didn't care anymore.

It almost felt like the author had planned a 5th book but changed her mind and squeezed the last together. In the process I felt like she squeezed out a lot of the interesting parts. Save yourself time. If you want the BDSM scenes remember the first book. If you want the snarky fun personality, remember the second, and if you want to see a character overcoming their past read the third and picture the king of diamonds as a woman. I won't give away any spoilers, because if you make it to the end, you've earned them.

I liked the book overall but I did not like Awai's 180 when it came to Ty. It was complete unrealistic for a woman - who was that severely abused by a man - to change her mind about men and submission that quickly. There was no build up to their relationship either - all the books have been limited but the other had some buildup to make the plot transitions smoother.

This extended version was written so well it was hard to tell were the additions were added. It felt like the book was written this way from the beginning. I really enjoy reading the wonderland stories and this is my second favorite in the series.
Ty is good looking, dominant, strong, and loves Awai. What more could you want in a leading man. I love the ending.

I really liked this book. This one is more along the lines of the first book. It has a lot more erotica in it and a lot of Dom vs sub behaviors. Ty is less forceful until Anwai decided to submit to him and then he is a total Dom. This story ties up a few loose ends, but it does have a bit of a cliffhanger leaving it open for another book, which I hope is in the works.

I read this edition and the others in the series, thinking that it was a separate series. There were some differences between the originals and the re-releases. It was a little confusing and in several spots in the books I did not like the changes.

This book is awesome! Out of the four brothers Ty is my second favorite. I love the way he doesn't always have to be in charge, but is still a very dom of a man. The sex is great, the story is developed.

Hmmm. This could have been a lot better. The ending was a bit quick and a bit too neat. Plus it needed new life - some of the moves were getting a bit old by the fourth book.

Ty is absolutely amazing, the most innovative of the brothers in terms of his kink but also the most understanding in terms of what Awai needs from him. Good story.
