Loved it!!! I always judge a cook-book by how many page tabs I used...this time I used almost an entire pack (of adorable cat) tabs!

I cannot wait to try these tabbed recipes, some of those I'm most looking forward to trying are:

drunken apples (hello Grand Marnier)
Vegan chocolate peanut butter cake (hello vegan chocolate)
Vegetable Tikka Masala

The beginning of the book included a gaggle of useful information. I even pulled out the old highlighter!

I may have to make a Staples run after this book to get more page tabs and more highlighters!

This book is exactly what it says it is. Easy, accessible recipes that are tasty. There are plenty of tips if you'd like to make substitutions (e.g.a milder sauce or a different vegetable) and the recipes include traditional American cooking and interesting dishes from around the world. Each recipe is one page and there are only a few photographs, perhaps to reduce publishing costs. Each recipe has tabs e.g. low sodium, nut-free, gluten-free, vegan.

Highly recommend this one especially if you are trying vegetarian for the first time.

Decent selection of vegetarian crockpot recipes. Some of them require prep and cooking that goes beyond the crockpot though.

Vegetarian or not-for-profit great recipes!

This is a great book not only to get vegetarian recipes but also to learn the ins and outs of a crock pot. I love my crock pot and I'm always looking for new recipes. This book definitely provides that! I'm not a vegetarian but the recipes in this book would be great for anyone as meals, sides, and desserts! There's a crock pot cheesecake recipe!!! Who wouldn't love that?!? These recipes are simple and easy to make with little to no prep work required! I can't wait to try some of these time saving recipes with my family and share them with my brother who is a vegetarian! He'll be so impressed with my skills =) I received this book at a promotional price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I simply loved this cookbook. I love the directions, I love the layout. I love that it totally goes into all the information you need to make your meal. We are not Vegetarians by any stretch of the word, but we do eat many meatless meals. I still want to provide healthy meals, and with the needed nutrients to my growing family.

The photo's in the cookbook are incredible. Makes me hungry thumbing through the recipe's. I have so many I want to try out!. I really loved the freezing and storing section as I have a fairly large family. I am always looking for a way to make our food last longer. It is perfect! My other favorite chapter is the "Unbeatable Basics" I received this incredible cookbook for review purposes. All opinions are my own!

I recently received a slow cooker as a gift and this book is great!

Having never used a slow cooker before this book had beneficial information and was handy to have it all in one place. The recipes are easy to follow and even though they are vegetarian, I've still thrown some meat into a couple of them. There is even a recipe in this book for slow cooker pizza! How awesome is that!?

If you are new to slow cooking I definitely recommend checking this out. I received this book free in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

I flagged 18 of the recipes to try. Withholding judgment until I make some because I haven't had much luck with my slow cooker in the past.
