Rue grew up in a very closeted household and was cast out when he came out. He goes out one night and finds himself taken by a dangerous criminal who sees him as nothing but a possession. Rue is determined to escape before his evil plan for him comes to be. He sees Carnage in a club one night and despite his aura of danger, he instinctively feels that Carnage would save him so he approaches. While not easy, Carnage is determined to get Rue to safety and take down the crime ring that he was tangled up in without his consent. Rue jumps out of the frying pan right into the fire for sure in this one for sure!

‘Carnage’ ends happily for our MMCs but there’s much more to come with the crime in Crestvale as Carnage and crew discover a new dangerous gang popping up in their city. This series has sucked me in and I have loved each book and couple. I also enjoy the crumbs being dropped in the last 2 books for a triad.

Mia Monroe sait rendre attachant ces tueurs qui laissent leur coté sombre s'exprimer dans la chasse aux prédateurs pédophiles ou sexuels Ce livre ne fait pas exception à la série et nous montre un Carnage loyal et sensible qui accepte la demande de Rue de le sauver de son kidnappeur lors d'une très brève première rencontre de quelques secondes sans qu'il ne soit question de rien d'autre que de ses principes moraux
Ce qui est agréables c'est qu'il n y a pas de répétition dans le texte et que, même si le scénario dans chacun des tomes est construit sur la même base (sauver la personne qui sera le leur), il est différent à chaque roman

Another assassin gets bitten by the love bug in this third book of the Crestvale Killers series. Rue finds Carnage in a bar at a time in his life where he needs a white knight and while Carnage may not think of himself as that he becomes that person for Rue. I love when we see the softer side of the unhinged man in the group as it shows the characters depth and personality and I liked seeing the bit of growth in Rue as well.

This series is so good - watching each of these hardened men fall for their perfect match is awesome. Rue finds himself in a dangerous situation and thankfully Carnage is there to help. Sexy, dark and suspenseful - bring on the next book!

Carnage was an exciting, suspenseful, and swoony dark MM romance. I love when we get to see the softer side of a hardened, unhinged assassin. Carnage is truly Rue’s white knight and I thought these two were perfect for one another. Another solidly enjoyable read in this series for sure!
