Picasso Lithographs. 407 illustrations, many in color. In 1945, Picasso worked at the printer's in Rue de Chabrol and scarcely left the premises for four months, trying out and utilized all the different transfer paper, stone, zinc, crayon, pen, wash drawing, etc, represented in the volume.
A 297-page book crammed with images of this great artist's lithographs.
Picasso was endlessly creative and always probing the limits of any media he mastered. Personally, I'm more interested in his sketches but leafing through this heavy book gave me a greater feel for his work.
Still seeking the definitive book on his sketches . . .
