I read this book forever ago when I was sick on a family vacation and stuck inside while everyone else got to go do fun things. I read this almost 20 years ago but I remember devouring it - maybe my opinion would be different if I went back and reread it (I can't imagine a late 90s futuristic VR story has aged well), but I remember greatly enjoying this book at the time.
