I really enjoyed this book. I was not expecting such a twist! The book does show the way a cult will play with your deepest desires and catch you at your lowest. If Adams intended for us to understand the cult mindset from a person who is “rational” and “educated,” he did a great job.
In some way, when you put yourself in the mind of a free thinker, you think you are invincible from outside influence. But, can the smartest people be taken over by emotion if they were vulnerable enough? This is a must read!
