"I was her first everything and I’ll be her last."
When Chelsea is mocked in the grocery store of her hometown for being in a relationship with her stepbrother, she swallows her anger. If that's the worst thing that happens, who cares? She and Wrecker are finally together and that’s all that matters.
But police at the door of their apartment in the early morning hours shatters her new found happiness with Grant "Wrecker" Harrison--the boy who grew into the only man she'll love.
Wrecker has spent three years in prison and now that he's out, he's not going back even if that means running from his club, his old man, and the life he thought he always wanted. But he won't leave Chelsea behind this time or let anyone or anything take her from him.
Another book about Chelsea and Grant, this one was a little bit frustrating for me. There was nothing wrong with the story, it was just my brain acting up, complaining the whole time about how those two couldn't catch a break even for a short time.
I dont know what it is about these books that I love so much, I'm going to go with the fact that Ella Goode is just that good. I cant wait to read Wrecker and Chelsea next book. There first book was great, and I could tell they loved each other, but this one you could just feel the love they had for each other. They are both great people. The only reason for the .5 start, is cause of the end. It didnt really come out of nowhere but it felt like wired timing, hot but wired. On to the next book.
3.5 STARS I didn't know that Grant & Chels has one more book..I was glad to know this..This one was short & good but not as good as the first..Would like to contiue the next...
It's very cool to check back in on a couple we already have met. Wrecker is committed more than ever to Chelsea, and that in and of itself is so very hot. Chelsea and Wrecker find themselves involved in some bad times when the snobby woman who accosted Chelsea in the grocery store winds up dead the next day. Now they have to prove his innocence so that he doesn't have to go back to prison for violating his parole.
Wrecker and Chelsea, loved this couple in "His Wild Desire". Wrecker was the perfect alpha, possessive, aggressive, focused on his woman and committed totally to her. So I couldn't wait to continue their story in "His Mad Passion". The book was good but when I hit the final chapter, I was like WTF!!! Wrecker broke the number one rule I have for my alphas. The star rating has now dropped in my estimation. I truly hope there is no repeat in the next book. Continuing this series more cautiously......
And now we are back to the story of Chelsea and Grant/Wrecker. He's been framed for murder and she's frantic to save him. There's something not right with some of the good people of the small town and if they can expose this, they may be able to clear Grant's name. In the meantime, they have to lie low.
Warning: The ending is a cliffhanger. The solution is to be featured in the next book.
Grant & Chelsea are back in this hot little teaser that leads into Ella Goode's next Death Lords MC book. Its short @ 80 pages but it packs a helluva punch. Don't bypass this because of its brevity because I'm positive it has some key events for what's to come.
(2) His Mad Passion. Their relationship is public now. Chelsea is mocked in the grocery store by one of the country club set. When that woman is murdered, Grant is the number one suspect.

Follows up to book #1 story about a Chelsea and Grant/Wrecker. Step-siblings for a few years before realizing their feeling for each other were not familial - and together ever since.
In this installment #2, Wrecker is framed for a murder of one of the golf course wives. Then, in very Nancy Drew fashion, Chels and Wrecker do their own investigating, finding: the golf course wife’s husband hiding in a cheap motel in MSP, a meth lab hidden in the golf course house’s basement, meth ties to an MSP biker club called Misery, and suspicious close ties to corrupt chief of police and skinhead meth-trading MC club up north.
So Chels goes with Wrecker and Abel to dig into MSP Misery MC, clean up problems there and trace out the movement of meth and money into and through their little town of Fortune.
I dislike Chelsea and Grant’s stories significantly more than the others in this series. It’s not really their characters, which I find a bit flimsy and inconsistent in their motivations, but also the plot didn’t feel cohesive to me. I thought this story might be better than than the first book in the series, whose conflict was driven by the characters, but despite being driven by an external conflict, this story wasn’t much better. It also suffered from a lot of movement which added to its inconsistency.
Planning to skip ahead to the last story in the series, which features a different couple.
Too short. It's very frustrating to get to the heart of the story - the meat - and then have it stop. And why has Abel been patched in but he doesn't have a road name yet? That's so random.
Is this story perfect? No it’s kind of a cliffy, kind of not finished, but it’s not rushed, not pushed and just a freaking fantastic read. So yes 5 imperfectly perfect starts
Podía predecir toda la trama después de leer un capítulo. No había mucho que tuviera sentido, y seguía volviéndose aburrido incluso cuando no creía que fuera posible.
Continued story line for Chelsea and Wrecker (Grant), who were the feature couple for book 1 of the Death Lords MC series. This is now book 6 for this club and book 17 for the overall series. C&W are still dealing with people in their close-minded town who look down on them because of their affiliation with the club, as well as the fact they were step-siblings and are now a couple. The crooked police chief is also still trying to bring down the club via Wrecker. After Chelsea has a public spat w/a snobby lady, and that lady turns up murdered, the cops shake down Wrecker for the crime. In order to clear his name, C&W go Nancy Drew and stubble across a whole other issue that ties back to another MC in the city (same MC that Michigan and Easy checked out in an earlier book).
I like how a continuous plot strings through all the books in the Death Lords series, and even hints at intertwined plot from the other two connected series. The ending is rather abrupt, I don't feel it wraps much, but it definitely makes me want to read the next installment. I normally have an aversion to stepbrother romances (which seem to be very in vogue right now), but I like this couple. I like how they are fully dedicated to and invested in each other. They value what is important to the other person, and they are kind to each other but not sappy. Oh, they bring the dirty sexy time too. This is a MC book after all.
On the technical side, this specific novella would have been well served with another round of copy editing. I found numerous misspelled words, improper apostrophe usage, incorrect grammar choice (it's vs. its, etc.) and many sentences where additional commas would have been welcome. I'm giving it a pass as it did not take away from my enjoyment of the story or characters, but it did make me cringe a little. I hope some of it was cleaned up for the final published edition.
I love that these MC series novellas are a great blend of plot, relationships, and sex. And that the books are published twice a month!
Let's start by saying I LOVE this series. It has plot and sex. Two major things in my book. And it's short, so you can easily finish it in one sitting.
We met Chelsea and Wrecker and the Death Lords in His Wild Desire. If you haven't read the previous books I recommend that you do before reading this one, so you can have a better understanding of minor things. However, as a standalone, it's perfectly understandable.
I like how it isn't all roses and HEAs for the characters of previous books; it makes it more real. Chelsea and Grant don't have it very easy considering their family connection: step-siblings, which for some of the small-minded people of Fortune is a very serious sin. But this isn't all, the town sheriff has a grudge against the club, and the best way to get back at them is to screw them whenever he can. Chelsea and Wrecker have a bumpy ride but I'm crossing my fingers hoping it all ends well.
There're still unanswered questions so I'm impatiently waiting for the next book on May 15th.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.
This installment in the Death Lords MC brings us up to date on Chelsea and Grant/Wrecker as they navigate around all of the barriers they face to their step-sibling romance. I don't usually like the step brother romances but I have enjoyed this couple since they were introduced in one of the first book of the series. Wrecker has returned home after serving his prison sentence and the young couple are adjusting to being together after such a long separation. The town continues to be scandalized about their perceived "incestuous" relationship. There's drama going on in the club and Wrecker becomes a suspect in the death of one of the town's socialites. Judge sends Wrecker and Chelsea to the twin cities to straighten out problems there with that chapter. There's angst, suspense and drama but through it all, there's no doubt of Chelsea and Wrecker's love for each other. I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in this series to see what happens next. A short, satisfying read that makes you want more.
The Motorcycle Clubs books are all amazing. His Mad Passion is no exception. I really like Chelsea and Wrecker. They really get a lot of crap for being "siblings" but really they are barely even step siblings. His dad took her in when she was 14 and they never thought of themselves as brother and sister. Anyway, the taboo factor isn't really there for me, but society is idiotic.
I love how loyal Chelsea is, she sticks by Wrecker even though she isn't a huge fan of the MC lifestyle. She hates that he is at risk especially with his being on parole. Schmidthead has a hard-on for Wrecker and is ready to send him packing back to prison. This book takes us one step closer to finding out how the continuing story throughout the series is going to play out. I have my suspicions, but I'll not so patiently wait until the next Death Lords book!
Four stars and four wet panties! Give me more biker goodness!!!
I love all of these short MC romances from these three authors...they all sort of connect with characters that intertwine. In this one, we get the continuing story of Chelsea and Wrecker...her stepbrother who she is in love with and their relationship is stronger than ever despite the ridicule they are getting from the small town folk around them. When a murder occurs in town to someone wealthy, Wrecker is arrested and blamed for it, but has to be released when no real proof is found. Chelsea decides they should try to figure out "whodunnit" to get him off the hook and they launch into a mission to try to figure it out before the police can further harrass Wrecker and possibly send him back to prison. It was a really fast read with some steamy action and leaves more questions to be answered in the next installment. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Plot: A This book is sooo interesting! It has just the right amount of club business and romance mix. Had me wondering what was going to happen. The pace moved quickly, but so much happened, and led me to situations I hadn't expected. (All of the questions aren't answered though.) Meanwhile Chelsea and Wrecker's relationship is developing and strengthening. Characters: A Wrecker is a great character. He's a hard character for the club and protecting Chelsea, but he's also loving. Has no reservations in letting her, and others, know how he feels. No shame. Chelsea is a little more reserved, but it's understandable. She knows her place with regards to the club and is happy to wear the property patch. She is willing to do what it takes to keep Wrecker free. Heat: B+ Good heat factor. There was some unexpected action towards the end that threw me off. But it was all good. Perfect amount and length of scenes, pretty descriptive.
I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC for this book in return for an unbiased review.
Let me start out by saying I found this series last month while doing a week long stint in hospital. I blew through the first 15 books in about 3 days (what else was I gonna do?) and I've stalked the authors for the next installments ever since.
HMP took us back to Wrecker and Chelsea who can't seem to find a bit of peace to save their lives. Blue haired ladies are accosting her in the grocery store, the police chief is still hell bent on sending him back to prison ... they can't even go hours out of town without being slapped in the face as being "incestous"! Will these two ever catch a break??
I liked this visit with them, but I will say it kind of slammed on brakes abruptly. But, I guess that just leaves me hanging on the line till the next time.
