His job grows more challenging daily, especially since one seductive female keeps crossing the line.

Chrystal Landros knows she’s supposed to keep to her side of the Three Rivers-Willow Bend line. But she loves to explore, and Willow Bend is home to some spectacular sites. As a former Lone Wolf, she hasn’t always been certain of her welcome, but her new home in Three Rivers opens a wonderful world of unfamiliar opportunities. Too bad the wolf who makes her blood heat is tasked with keeping her away from the places she wants to visit.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

Different pace with a brisk H annoyed by the dreamy h. He's kind when they are stranded and he realises she has no knowledge about how to care for herself as a wolf. Great scenes with a wild wolf balances the sweet and sour notes of her history and her true nature. Great book, good world building and a very sweet couple.

Good read even if it seemed rushed. Still not really sure just what the problem with an Omega is but I was hoping the point was made with three rivers mess.

Chrystal and Dylan were a great couple. I truly enjoyed the book, especially since it gave us a look into Julian and how the Three Rivers pack was doing. What I didn't enjoy was how they suddenly made Chrystal an Omega without really explaining how they came to that conclusion.

Oh Chrystal, you truly stink at staying within borders. The situations you get yourself into, well let's just say you need to be more careful.

Dylan was looking forward to his date and enjoying the snowfall on his route when he scented the wayward wolf. When he finds her in a precarious position he is annoyed and scared for her.

This is not the last time Chrystal crosses borders. The next time in the middle of a blizzard leads to issues with her pack and Willow Bend. But it also leads to rescuing a wolf and her cub and three days alone with Dylan.

Lots of surprises in this one, we see a bit more the mysterious Enforcer Julian and of course Mason. Some hold your breath scenes and some seriously hot ones.

Interesting and entertaining

In the previous stories, I kinda didn’t like Dylan. In fact, at the start of this story, I still didn’t like him. One of the coolest things about this book is how I feel like I can see the wolves around Chrystal changing, as she herself is changing. Though this isn’t my first time reading it, I noticed things that I had previously missed, and am looking forward to rereading the others in this series!

Loved

This is one of my favorites of the series. While I’ve never really known what an Omega is this helped me understand it more. Plus just some really fun characters.

I tell you what with each one it just keeps getting better and better. In this one it centers around Dylan and Chrystal. Dylan is a Willow Bend Hunter, with Chrystal being in the newly formed pack that is being monitored in Three Rivers. Use to being on her own being around others though is new for her and with her artistic nature that takes over she finds herself always ending up in places she should not. And who should be the one that usually nabs her in the act but Dylan. Right off I really fall in love with this character Chrystal. While reading I want to protect her also from others because she has not one mean bone in her. She does not cross the boundaries on purpose but then too she is so use to being with her wolf in tight reigns this new found freedom runs away from her. When she ends up on a rescue mission she herself gets rescued by Dylan and this is really when things begin to heat up between them even with a storm keeping them in one place. Enjoyable reading watching their relationship build but also finding out so much about Chrystal and what she really doesn't know. Quite the innocent even after all that time virtually being alone. Even more so is her innocence where her wolf is concerned. Whom better though than someone like Dylan with his huge heart but strong nature to enlighten her and teach her. Thanks to this time together their relationship will grow really strong but later being apart will really not be a option for them. A little humorous also when realization hits Dylan on exactly who she is to him. Quite a pleasant surprise also when you find out her true nature and what her place in a pack is and the rareness of it. Love how they do not let a bit of trouble keep them apart even when it is apparent that worse things could of happened. Wonderful conclusion at the end for them but it also leaves you hoping you get to peak back in on them later. Received a copy for a honest review.

I was given an Arc by the author for an honest review

I have to just say that I LOVE the Willow Bend series!!!! Ms' Long is an amazing story teller. You really feel like you are living through the characters when you read her books. It's amazing. This book has all you could want in it and more. Action, humor, sweet loving, suspense, beautiful little spitfire she wolf, sexy hot rough but tender alpha male wolf.

I love how Ms. Long writes a story leading up to her characters falling in love rather then what seems to be becoming the norm of page 1 they first meet, page 2 they are in such love of each other that they would die for each other, page 3 sex and more sex and then maybe 50 pages later an actual plot is worked in. Not that those type of books can't be good also mind you. I just love it when I find an author that has really a wonderful way with words that pulls you into a story so deep that the real world seems to cease to exist. Ms. Long does that.

I hope that there will be many more books added to this series. It is a really good series. It's best to read from the beginning of the series because there is a thread of a backstory that is built upon through each book as well as some of the characters filter in and out of each book.

Here is the reading order of the series:
Wolf At Law - prequel
1. Wolf Bite
2. Caged Wolf
3. Wolf Claim
4. Rogue Wolf
5. Bayou Wolf
6. Untamed Wolf

I highly recommend this series and all of Ms. Longs books.

At first, I wondered if I was going to like former lone wolf Chrystal, because she is not the kick-ass female I've become used to in Heather Long's Wolves of Willow Bend series. She, in fact, seemed way too flighty and unfocused for a love 'em and leave 'em alpha male like Dylan Royce, Willow Bend Hunter. My apologies, Ms. Long, I should have known. As the story starts to unfold further and Chrystal's background is revealed, it all starts to pull together. Dylan and Chrystal are actually quite wonderful together. He totally surprised me with his patience, humor and caring heart, even while fighting the mating call. Chrystal's background was unusual, to say the least, and throwing Enforcer Julian into the mix added to the intrigue. Trapped together in a snowstorm, Dylan and Chrystal have time to get the know each other without interference. Meanwhile at the Three Rivers pack, Luciana is struggling to hold the new pack together and worried about her lost wolf. Some surprise details appear in this one. Untamed Wolf is a fluid, well-written story which can definitely be read as a stand-alone, but you really don't want to miss the others in the series. Definitely hooked on this series and its engaging characters. I can't wait to see what's in store for them next.

I personally purchased this title.

Untamed Wolf by Heather Long is the 6th book in the Wolves of Willow Bend series. This series remains one of my favorites this year. With great storylines and wonderfully executed happily ever afters, the Wolves of Willow Bend series is one you do not want to miss.

Untamed Wolf focuses on the Willow Bend hunter, Dylan and one of the new pack's members, Chrystal. Long always manages to add a new touch of originality to each book in this series and I just never know what is coming. I loved both of these characters WAY more than I thought I would. The new glimpses into the newly formed pack, Three Rivers, added a lot of insight into pack dynamics and stability.

The chemistry between Dylan and Chrystal lined the pages with heat. And yet, Untamed Wolf was so much more than just their HEA. Three Rivers is not only a newly formed pack, but the first one in recent times. Watching this new pack try to structure themselves from a variety of lone wolves creates a great layer to the overall series.

Pulled into their story and the world Long has created, I consumed Untamed Wolf in two sittings and still wanted more. This series is truly one that any werewolf lover does not want to miss.

I received an ARC copy of this book from Heather in return for an honest review.

Heather has done another AMAZING job on this book, I fell in love with the main charaters within the first couple of chapters. 'Untamed Wolf' is book 6 in the "Wolfs of Willow Bend" series, you don't need to read the first books in order to understand anything happening in this book...but I would suggest reading them anyway. Each book is a stand-alone novel within the series, but they do include other characters from previous books.

Hunter & all round flirt Dylan is charged with keeping the newly formed pack from crossing over into Willow Bend's territory, but 1 she-wolf is always encroaching on the territory... Still getting used to pack life Chrystal seems to always forget where the pack boundaries are, having had run in's with Dylan numerous times with one-another. Chrystal keeps going into Willow Bend territory & Dylan has to return her to her alpha......

I'm not sure how Heather does it, but I feel like I'm inside the story that I'm reading, I didn't want to put my ereader down... I didn't end up finishing until after 2am, feeling slightly tired. I NEED to read the rest of the series ASAP, just wish I could sit down & not be interrupted constantly, so I could do so.

I purchased books 1-3 together as an Amazon deal. I read them over the weekend. I liked the story development and the characters so much that over the last two weeks, I have read books 4 through 10. The characters were well developed, and although each book was a standalone, there was thread of continuity and overlapping characters throughout. The story came to life and the last book, although not a cliffie, makes you really want to read the next one (which is not out until March, 2017). Well worth your time and money to read the series.

Fantastic Series - I highly recommend it. (12 Books to this point) = Overall Rating 4.5 Stars

I found the first book to be my least favourite - found heroine annoying and the sex a bit brutal, but Heather Long started building an interesting world with inter-related plots and relationships that became a series I could not put down - it just kept getting better with each book. (See ratings below)

One minor complaint - each book in the series needs a major edit of the Ebooks. There are at least a dozen mistakes in each book (spelling, wrong tense, grammar, missing words, etc.) that should have been corrected by a good edit.

WOLVES OF WILLOW BEND - MY RATINGS:

Book 0.5 Wolf at Law (Prequel) - 3 Stars
Book 1: Wolf Bite - 3 Stars
Book 2: Caged Wolf - 4 Stars
Book 3: Wolf Claim - 4 Stars
Book 3.5: Wolf Next Door - 4 Stars
Book 4: Rogue Wolf - 3 Stars
Book 5: Bayou Wolf - 4 Stars
Book 6: Untamed Wolf - 5 Stars
Book 6.5: Wolf with Benefits - 5 Stars
Book 7: River Wolf - 5 Stars
Book 7.5: Single, Wicked Wolf - 3 Stars
Book 8: Desert Wolf - 5 Stars

Book 9: Snow Wolf is on my 2016 MUST READ list..

I was given an ARC for my honest review.

This installment to The Wolves of Willow Bend is probably the funniest and most heartwarming of all. Crystal is a she wolf who has pretty much raised herself. Not knowing what it's like growing up with the rules of a pack, she continues to break rules when she finally finds a pack to call home.
Dylan is a Hunter for the Willow Bend pack. He continues to find Crystal crossing the border into Willow Bend territory. When he finds Crystal in a snow storm and takes her back to his cabin, the lives of both are changed.
Heather Long takes you to the heart of what it's like becoming mates. The slow progress recognizing what the heart wants instead of the instant recognization. I love her stories using each of the characters so unlike the others. With all of the Willow Bend books being very well written, and touching our hearts with every beat. I couldn't put this book down. I found myself parking after work, just to finish the book. I honestly believe you'll love it. Thanks again Heather for giving me an alternative to my daily life.

" Little she wolf wins pack hunters heart"
The story line and characters of this book are amazing!. This is a fantastic series!. Dylan Royce is the pack hunter for the willow bend pack. The hunters patrol the packs territory for trouble. Dylan has been having trouble with a little she-wolf from the connecting wolf pack Three River pack trespassing in Willow bends territory. Crystal is a artistic wolf who just wants to take pictures of spectacular sites on Willow band land. She is new to pack life and does not understand why she can't take a few pictures so she can paint them later lol. Dylan catches Crystal again this time they are trapped at the Hunters base cabin during a blizzard. Dylan learns a lot more about Crystal while they are trapped. they are both attracted to each other but they are from different packs!. After Crystal is returned to her pack Dylan finally admits she is his one truemate. And they find out she is a special kind of Wolf. This book has all you will want in a book suspense, action, humor and super hot romance! You must try this series!.

Another great installment in the Willow Bend series!!!!

Crystal is a tiny thing for a wolf that seems a bit scatter brained.
Passing the borders all the time

Dylan is the hunter who is watching the borders and has to repremant her.

When a snow storm hits they will come closer.

And as the story unfolds many secrets come into light.

I loved how Dylan treated Crystal and i do love his sense of humour.
I love how aloof Crystal seems to be and she is funny as well.
The chemistry between the two is amazing and i enjoyed so much watching the two packs interact and how things are going with the new pack.
I so enjoyed watching this story unfold and also its always wonderful getting glimses of the other wolves growing and evolving.

A great story really well written that made me smile and laugh.
The turns and twists of the story really had me reading from the first page to the last in one day!!!

Can't wait for more!!!!

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. First, I loved this book. It just took me a while to try to put into words just how much I enjoyed this story. Both the hero (Dylan Royce) and the heroine (Chrystal Landros) were such deep, thoughtful characters and the author didn’t make them sappy or crabby or nasty. If you read a lot of shifter novels, you’ll understand what I mean when you read this story.

I don’t want to post any spoilers so I won’t discuss the premise however it is one that I haven’t read before. Dylan and Chrystal develop an amazing relationship and I was hooked from the very beginning. One piece of the story was the rescue and care of a mother wolf and a pup during a blizzard. It was a great side story and one that will make you smile. Gotta love those protective mommas! Be sure to pay attention because this “side story” will play into the overall book.

I will keep reading Ms. Long’s stories and I recommend that you do as well. Great job!

Love this series

I'm a big fan of this series and was waiting for this book. Being in California meant my book was delivered at 9pm on the 23rd. I read until I fell asleep holding my kindle and finished it before getting out of bed in the morning. While you could read as a stand alone reading the series in order adds so much more to it. This book gave us a little more of a glimpse at the new Three Rivers pack. When we first met Chrystal I tried to guess at her backstory but I wasn't even close. I loved it. It gave us a better understanding of what it's like for a young wolf. And Dylan.... He's been a pretty big flirt in previous books and I had kind of expected him to be more of a douchebag. So glad he wasnt! My opinion of him changed in the first chapter. Can't wait for Shiloh's story!!!

Untamed wolf is the 6th book in the wolves of willow bend series by Heather Long. I received this book as an ARC to do a review I was a bit dubious going into the story feeling that I might not be able to tell what was going on as I hadn't read the other books in the series. My fears were unfounded as untamed wolf is such a well written book that I would have been unaware that this was a series it is an amazing stand alone piece of work.

Dylan is a dominant hunter wolf that shows he has a caring loving side. When he finds the untamed wolf of Chrystal who has no idea how to be one with her wolf. The journey Dylan and Chrystal take together during this book is an enjoyable experience. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys shifter romance.

Crystal is a sweet, yet absent minded wolf who sees the world differently than most. Dylan is a strong pack oriented, flirty, bachelor life loving wolf.

Crystal is from a newly formed pack that is struggling to make a place for themselves. Dylan is a Hunter for his pack tasked with protecting its borders. Dylan and Crystal find themselves at odds time after time due to Crystal's forgetful and curious nature.

The steam begins to rise during a blizzard when the two unexpectedly come together.

This was a wonderful read! The two main characters were so full of life and seemingly so different. The romance between them was spot on with just the perfect mix of passion and tender care. The characters were easy to identify with and fun to follow through the story.

Dylan and Chrystal clash repeatedly over her border incursions .The desire between them is strong but the tensions between Willow Bend and Three Rivers continue to rise .Theirs is not an easy journey and it will have you on the edge of your seat .I highly recommend this book its an awesome read.

Finding a mate when you least expect it.
Dylan Royce, Willow bend Hunter takes his job seriously. When Chrystal Landros from Three rivers pack keeps ending up on Willow Bend territory he has to keep sending her back. She is threatening the fragile trust and the newness of the Three Rivers pack. Then one night she flags down a truck to help her save a real wolf and her pup and it just so happens to be Dylan. Because of the storm Dylan take all three back to his cabin and they get snowed in. Even though it’s cold outside, things heat up inside the cabin. And there’s more to Chrystal then meets the eye. She knows nothing about pack life and Dylan is determined to find out why. This is a well written and very entertaining story to read. Though part of a series of books it is a self-contained story. Extremely enjoyable story to read.

An ARC for an honest review.

I'm trying to put words together and say what I feel but it's hard. All I can think is how much I want to read the next one in the series and how much I wish I could read more about Dyan and Chrystal.

Very few books I've read that are shifter books have this kind of interesting plot and be so lng and actually good to read. I love them so much and I am happy whenever I find a new author to me that can make me read the book in one sitting and leave me thinking about it for hours and days after I read it. I think Mrs. Heather Long created something here, something great and she has made a fan in me. Looking forward to reading the rest of her books because I loved this one so much.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Firstly, I love the Wolves of Willow Bend series. This is the third in the series that I have read. The fact that each in the series is a standalone book, and that there is enough information given at the beginning of each new book to have a decent background on the characters involved, is a huge plus.
Heather Long has a way of entwining her characters together so that they simply "fit" in the given plot, which flows easily, yet still has enough twists, turns and bumps to keep you enthralled in her tale. This book easily falls into her style and certainly did not disappoint.
A definite must read in my opinion. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

I was given a complimentary copy by author Heather Long. This is from the Wolves of Willow Bend series by the author.

Dylan Royce is an hunter for the Willow Bend pack and is having problems with a little wolf who gets distracted and goes over the land borders. Crystal Landros tries to obey the rule but growing up without the pack structure she seems to get into trouble. Dylan and Crystal try to find their way to a happy life no matter what problems comes up.

This book has love, drama, action, vengeance and romance. The characters worked so great that the story line flowed so smoothly from start to finish.

This book is for any mature paranormal romance book lover who enjoys it all while they read.
