A Little God Time for Women: 365 Daily Devotions (Hardcover) – Motivational Devotionals for Women of All Ages, Perfect Gift for Friends, Family, Birthdays, Holidays, and More

Rate this book
A little God time can make a big difference in your day.

This one-year devotional for women provides you with godly wisdom and insight to strengthen your faith and encourage your heart. Spend a few quiet moments in the presence of God each day, and be refreshed as you find the hope, peace, joy, and strength that is abundant there.

Something New

Whether you have generated a color-coded list of goals, dreams, and an execution plan for the next 365 days or you’ve banned resolutions and vowed to make this just another day on the calendar, the clean slate represented by the first day of a new year is filled with an undeniable air of expectation. The excitement of a new bauble or gadget pales in comparison to the promise of a new beginning. Deep down inside, there is a part of us which thinks, “This could be my year!”

Guess what? It is your year. This day, and every one that follows, is yours. It is yours to choose who and how to love, to serve, and even to be. And the choice you made in reading this page represents the choice to take this journey in the company of your heavenly Father. That is a beautiful place to start.

“I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19, NLT).

What new thing would you like to do this year? What pathways do you need God to clear?

Cute cover for a devotional. The daily readings are short, scripture based, and relevant to current life issues.

Most of the readings weren't issues strictly "for women". I think that most of the readings would be fine for a couple or a family with older children to use as well.

Thank you Netgalley and Broadstreet Publishing Group for a free digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

Nice devotional with solid daily readings. Short and easy to read so there's no excuse not to do your daily devotions. I dog-eared many as relevant.

I received this daily devotional last year for Christmas and it is now one of my favorite books. I didn’t get to read it every day but I did read the majority of it and stayed on task for the dates. Many dates were marked as reference. Each page I read gave me something to think about and daily scripture.

This is such a great one year devotional. It’s really cute and has such lovely design that pulls you towards reading it every day. Easy to find the date for each day and the content is very uplifting. Love the quotes from the Bible, like today’s psalm 9:10. This Devotional makes a great gift.

I received an advanced reader copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I love devotionals in general, as I use them for my daily quiet time and will share my favorites with friends and family. *A Little God Time for Women* is an excellent example, and I plan to use this regularly and to give as gifts this coming Christmas.

A great way to take a few minutes for yourself each day, pause, and contemplate things that are bigger than yourself and outside your control! Sometimes you just need a reminder to be more compassionate, patient, loving, and kind.

Wonderful devotional

Rich with Bible references and situations that reflect current events and life struggles for women. I have read it twice and learned something new or had it relate to my situations both times.

This year-long devotional has a theme and a verse for you each day of the year. It also does a great job reflecting the changing seasons and holidays as the year goes by.

This was a great devotional to read and reflect upon each day. Somehow the daily passage often related directly to something going on in my life.

This was a wonderful daily study that I tended to do at the beginning of the day. I would wake up and spend 5-10 minutes in this daily study and start my day with focusing on the Word of God. So sweet! Definitely spoke into my life at times and used to speak into others.

I received A Little Time with God as a birthday gift last year, and I'm glad I did. This encouraging 365 daily devotional touches on women's issues and includes scripture, thoughts and questions, and great advice! So many times the message hit home. I highly recommend it.

Some of the devotions were eerily relevant to current situations when I read them, but other devotions were just odd or not well thought out.
