Scanned through a copy of this that my daughter bought for my nephew. I used to play this a few years ago so I'm familiar with the basics, but am surprised and a bit overwhelmed at how much is available.
This contains a lot of basic and advanced info on the game for both new and returning players. How to mine for resources, build certain basic constructions and fight/protect yourself against monsters.
Also different types of games you can play with others within the game and mods you can get. Most of which are way to hard for me, but then I'm a builder, not a fighter

Ok, so judge me: I'm including a Minecraft book on my Goodreads.
I'm new to Minecraft and saw this at the library. It served as a decent introduction and answered some of the questions I had. Probably nothing special to anyone who is familiar with the game.
Three stars because this book is a mashup of two previously-published books and there are places where the combination just wasn't done all that well.

My son LOVES this book. Lots of info for Minecraft players and their parents (who have no idea what their kids are talking avout).
