Not the best written book that I've ever read, but being a Duke fan since I was a kid, the memories this fun book evoked made me smile the entire time I was reading. A must read for any Duke basketball fan.

For a lifelong Duke fan and four year Cameron Crazie, this book was such a fun read. It bounced back and forth between things before my time at Duke, so there was new information, and things I remember well (and even participated in), with fond reminiscing. It covers people, places and events.

As the title would suggest, this is a book for Duke fans. It never pretends to be anything else. Occasionally, it descends into ESPN-speak in chronicling the exploits of Duke basketball and others. All that said, it still provides nuggets of often interesting, and occasionally fascinating, information that even the most staunch Duke-lover might not know. For just that, it's well worth a read.

I enjoyed all the facts about Duke, some of which I knew and some I didn't. I tended to skim over the basketball stats of individual basketball players covered. Speaking of basketball, I wish some other more recent sports (besides basketball) representatives had been covered in the book.
