Pumped By A Pterodactyl

Rate this book
Finally, just the thing you've been waiting for - Dino Erotica with a story line. Because character development is really, really important in Dino Erotica.

Dionna Donalson is a 27-year-old champion rock climber who likes things spicy in the bedroom. When she is offered $10,000 to attend a secret meeting, she can hardly resist. She finds herself whisked away by private jet to the remote Bolivian Andes where she is met by the young, handsome professor, Liam Tomlin. He reveals to her the world’s greatest secret; a valley full of cloned dinosaurs. Professor Tomlin has a job for Dionna, a job only a woman with her expertise can manage; sneak into a Pterodactyl’s nest and steal an egg. But Dionna is about to get a whole lot more Pterodactyl than she bargained for.

This book features erotic dinosaur love.

Author's Note: If you're looking for a book with deep backstory, romantic elements, and strong world-building, this probably isn't the book for you. If, however, you want to read about a spunky girl taking it every which way with an array of reptilian beasts you've come to the right place!

It is tradition for me to read some monster erotica every Halloween, but this was so incredible bad.
If you are curious about the story, just read the title and look at the book cover. Everything is there.

By the way, it is free on Amazon today.

Happy Halloween!

I'm not into dino porn or whatever. My mind works in the "yeah, but it wouldn't fit" type of line. Honestly, I'm the one watching a movie and wondering why no one ever really needs to go to the bathroom. Honestly, did you ever see one in Star Wars? No wonder the Sith wanted to take over the universe'; they must have wanted plumbing.

So I read this because I'm in that silly mood where you want to read something stupid and bad that will make you laugh and there isn't a Resident Evil movie on.

The thing is, there is a fine, thin line between what is erotic and what is porn, at least for me. Yes, yes, I know erotica is for women, porn is for men - and please introduce me to someone who actually believes that.

This is porn, and not because it really doesn't have a plot. As the author says in the blurb, and she is quite upfront about it, there isn't one. So I knew going in what it was, but I was thinking maybe it will be so bad it will be funny. And the blurb mentioned a strong woman who didn't take shit, so I figured why not.

Then I started reading it. It started out promising, I suppose. Donna is a very active woman who isn't frightened to go after what she wants, even at 20,000 feet. But then the words "shaved pussy".

Not trimmed, but shaved. Let's leave aside the whole embracing woman for being woman thing. Do you know where the whole idea of a shaved vagina started? To imply that a woman in a porn movie was not, in fact, a woman, but an under aged teen. Legal woman with the appearance of a teen.

Yes.

So, for me, shaved pussy is too closely linked to child abuse and rape to be anything erotic, funny or hot.

And that raises these further thoughts. It's great that our culture (at least in certain parts of the world) is starting to allow or embrace woman’s sexuality. Honestly, I have lost track of how many times I have seen a 50 Shades of Grey book being read by someone on public transportation. Yet, are we really embracing or allowing woman’s sexuality if it is really by terms other than the woman? In other words, are works such as this or 50 Shades, really about a woman and her sexual side OR about what a man thinks a woman’s sexual side is? (Or even about what women should believe a man’s sexual side is?) And there are writers, or at least stories that do this from the mass market success of Jacqueline Carey to the Amazon Independent kindle books such as the one about the woman and the brothers with Harleys. It just seems the other shit, the shit that advertises as woman oriented by seems frat boyish is far more numerous.

I’m not suggesting censorship because, just no. But shouldn’t the market demand better? Shouldn’t women demand better?

A rock climber who enjoys sex is offered a lucrative proposition. She agrees, signs the contracts and then gets so much more than she bargained for.

Despite the fact I frown on books that start late and end early (8% & 84% for this one) the writing is pretty good, the characters interesting and the plot creative, so it gets a decent rating from me. There’s not much to dislike about this one. I’m a little fuzzy on how the pterodactyl managed to fuck her six ways to Sunday while flying around and the logistics of such a big creature and a relatively small one managing to mate, but this is one is decently enough written that I wouldn’t mind reading more by this author.

Pumped by a Pterodactyl is for people who...

...like that dino lovin'.
...want to see Dionna hit the mile high club. TWICE.
...enjoy their dinos oversized and oversexed.
...did I mention the dinos?

Not going to lie, I got a giggle out of this one. Mid-air dino sexin' is going to be all the rage soon. I CAN FEEL IT!

Naughty, Scandalous, Strange... And Well Written!

I'm an extremely well read individual, since the age of three there was never enough books to keep me happy. Mostly I stick with certain genres, such as Science, Fantasy, Horror, Paranormal, and some Romance thrown in for fun.

Then I happened across the Erotica section. Sure, at my age I've certainly read some racy stories, mostly in, ahem, magazines. This short surprised me though. Despite its brevity, I was pulled in by the skilled writing, the enticing and original main character, and the completely odd yet titillating sexual situations.

If you are looking for hot sex, this provides. Seeking hot, fantastical scenes that are actually written with a decent knowledge of language and rhythmic storytelling? Here it is! Verity Vixxen is a practiced author, and I am actually looking forward to reading more of her work! Enjoy... reading on the really wild side!

I've been reading things in my "sub genre" and have to report that some of the stories are wildly disappointing. And some are, while wild, are pretty well written. I'm going to share one with you that I found bizarre but, well, interesting.

She's sets up an excellent story that follows through. Even though it's short, it is excellently written.

The cover, however, leaves much to be desired. If you want to read some interesting Dinosaur Erotica, start with this one: Pumped by the Pterodactyl

It was pretty short, but I enjoyed being able to read it without stopping. I got it free, so it was the right price to try out this type of story.

This was a really odd concept for a story, but it was so poorly written, that it had no hope of potentially being good.
