‘Samuel Johnson once said that when you’re tired of London, you’re tired of life.
Throw vampires, daemons and witches into the mix and the streets become filled with hidden pleasures and thrilling characters with danger lurking behind every corner.
Bo Blackman, a young private investigator struggling to hold onto her humanity, deals with betrayal, murder, bribery and blackmail in this ongoing urban fantasy series set in the city that never sleeps.
She doesn’t often get triber-based assignments, which is just as well. Vampires and daemons don’t interest her as much as humans do.’

The Bo Blackman Series by Helen Harper is sharp, gritty, and deliciously addictive — an urban fantasy with bite. Ms. Harper has a knack for character development and once again delivers a MC who’s equal parts stubborn, vulnerable, and wickedly resourceful – all while navigating a London teeming with vampires, daemons, and danger.
The pacing is high-octane, the twists are ruthless, and the moral dilemmas kept me hooked as much as the action did.
Anyone who loves their supernatural worlds dark, their mysteries tangled, and their protagonists gloriously imperfect, then Bo Blackman will definitely sink her teeth into you - and you’ll love every second.
Happy Reading…

I was really hoping I would like this series!

There is absolutely nothing special about this book. You don’t connect with the characters, they seem flat and one dimensional, the plot line is just boring, and there’s no sexual tension or chemistry at all. I read all of the first book and about half of book number two, and just skim through the rest of the book two and three. The series was a massive disappointment to me

Great series!

I highly recommend these boxed sets that allow the entertainment to continue without pause. These books are fantastical and magical. The unique characters and action filled plots are enthralling. They have some dark content, but it is used to emphasize the difference between the truly evil and the merely gray aspects of life as opposed to the Light. Enjoy!

She is trouble trying to do the right thing. Little romance but lots of action in this story. Good read.

Excellent series. For someone who didn't want to be a vampire , Bo, has adapted very well. The mystery/action of the story was well written. I look forward to Red Angel.
