I just finished Crave Me, and I honestly don’t know how to put into words what you’ve done to me. This book completely consumed me from start to finish.

The tension was unreal. The chemistry had me holding my breath, and the banter between Emilia and Nikolai was perfection. Emilia was exactly the kind of FMC I love. Fierce, stubborn, fearless, and never willing to back down. And Nikolai… what a man. His possessiveness, obsession, the violence, the way he spoke… every scene with him had me completely hooked.

The pacing, the emotional pull, the twists, and the spice were all perfectly balanced. It never felt like “too much” or “not enough.” It was one of those books that makes you forget the world around you.

Thank you for creating characters I’ll be thinking about long after I’ve turned the last page. You’ve officially given me one of the biggest book hangovers, and I already know this won’t be the last book of yours that I read.

South African Authors are being underestimated. This was amazing.

The spice was spicing and the plot was plotting. This book kept me on the edge of my seat.

If you want an unhinged mafia man, Nikolai Kirovsky will fulfill all your needs.

The first half of this book was… a little cringe for me. It gave me very much Fifty Shades meets mafia, and unfortunately, the FMC was irritating me more than I would have liked.

I also need to say that I hate insta-lust. When the attraction, spice, romance and drama all happen at lightning speed, I struggle to connect with the story. For me, the plot needs to be progressing alongside the spice, rather than the spice feeling like it’s driving the story. And that’s ultimately where this book lost a star for me.

I also would have loved more mafia. Going into a mafia romance, I’m looking for those darker elements, danger, power struggles and that feeling that the characters are actually involved in that world. I wanted a little more of that here.

BUT…

Somewhere around the second half, this book completely grabbed me. I went from questioning whether I was going to enjoy it to struggling to put it down. The drama picked up, the romance became more enjoyable, and suddenly I was fully invested in seeing how everything would play out.

And honestly? If you enjoy Ana Huang, I think this could be right up your alley. The romance, drama and larger-than-life situations give this book serious telenovela vibes, messy, dramatic, addictive and somehow impossible to stop watching… or in this case, reading.

So while the first half had me rolling my eyes a few times, the second half more than made up for it. Not a perfect read for me, but definitely one that won me back by the end.

Don't let the pink fool you, this one is darker than its pretending to be. I will admit that there were a lot of cliché moments in this book, but it beautifully set up a world to tell us about. It has also left room for spin of books, so maybe we will get to read more about the side characters some day.

While I read this book last year, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

There is so much character development in this book, on both mc's sides, which is really great, and I loved the upward trajectory and how both mc's both found peace and were content in the end.

This is book 1 in the series, and I'm really looking forward to the next one 🙌

Crave Me completely swept me away! From the very first chapter, I was hooked and found myself thinking about these characters even when I wasn't reading. The chemistry was absolutely electric, the emotional moments hit hard, and the perfect balance of tension, romance, and heartfelt vulnerability kept me turning the pages long into the night.

As a Russian mafia romance, it delivered everything I was hoping for.... High stakes, intense chemistry, emotional depth, and just the right amount of danger to keep me glued to the pages.

What I loved most was how invested I became in the characters. They were flawed, relatable, and impossible not to root for. Every emotional moment landed perfectly, and I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

If you're looking for a Russian mafia romance that will have you kicking your feet one moment and holding your breath the next, this is one to add to your TBR.

An easy five-star read that I'll be recommending to every romance lover!

I surprisingly loved the book.😀 You guys dont understand this was my first MF romance this year and i liked it! I loved the possessiveness the Nik had for his woman. Also, “touch her and 💀” literally. I ate this book upp!! The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because there was abit too much spice for my liking also, Emelia this man 💀 people babe. BE SHOCKED or something hey. Run aowa wena! But other than that, this book was perfect. Megan I am soo proud of you my babe. Can’t wait for the next book!❤️🙌🏻

Crave Me is everything you want in a Mafia romance novel.

It has a brooding MMC who can handle business without breaking a sweat, but also takes care of the people who are loyal to him. He’s hot, he’s wealthy, and he knows exactly how to make the reader blush. (Me. I’m the reader. 😂)

But the FMC is where this book really levels up. We aren’t faced with the stereotypical doe-eyed, soft princess. No, Emilia is a strong, independent woman who has achieved great success in her field, found the tendrils of joy in this chaotic world, and carefully woven her own happiness. A happiness she will protect fiercely.

I don’t want to give anything away with this review because I need future readers to experience all the emotions I went through while reading this.

The excitement of our FMC and MMC meeting. The thrill of the morally grey lifestyle our FMC enters. The found family. The heartache of sacrifice. The twists and turns. The blinding rage towards a fictional villain who you desperately wish you could “handle” yourself.

It’s all here in the pages of Crave Me.

The plot was amazing, and the twists and turns kept me intrigued from start to finish. And the spice... oh my word.
