I listened to the audiobook version 😮💨😮💨😮💨
Straight out the gate we are greeted with the most detailed spice scene I’ve ever heard on a audiobook.
Moaning , clapping, and everything.
It’s an all star cast bringing the story of Kreed and Union City alive. We get the beginning of this series learning about Kreed & Stacy.
Kreed starts this series behind bars and falls for his arch rivals wife who he basically steals 😆. He is released and is on a mission to destroy whoever put him behind bars and reclaim his place in the streets.
Stacy is stuck w her DA abusive husband. They share children together but that’s about it. She is neglected so it makes it even easier for Kreed to take her away.
It left us on a cliffhanger and there is so much more grounds to cover.
The production and voice narration is top tier. You feel like you’re right there in each scene

This was my introduction to an immersive reading experience...OMG! I don't think that I ever want to go back to "regular" audiobooks again! Although not typically the type of books I go for, I was interested due to the audio cast. I am now a fan of E. Bowser! This story kept me captivated the entire time. It was the perfect amount of character development, storyline, & spice. Even though I didn't read any of the proceeding books, I still had a full understanding of the characters in the book. And the ending?! Let's just say that I'm IMPATIENTLY waiting for the audio release of book 2!
